Darkmoon Enchantress rode her horse to a place not far from the city gate. She pulled the reins and jumped off the horse lightly.
She gently stroked the horse's mane and said to it softly, "My little darling, I will be out of town for an hour. You have to wait for me here obediently! Don't run around, okay?" After that, she tied the horse to the tree next to her.
Then, Dark Moon Enchantress tapped the ground with her toes, and her figure flew up like a ghost, quickly leaping over the city wall.
In the woods outside the city, leaves rustled. Eagle Twelve was standing under a tree, holding his horse, waiting for Dark Moon Enchantress.
Eagle Twelve handed the reins to Dark Moon Fairy and said worriedly, "Pavilion Master! The Xiao family army is very powerful. Their soldiers have been rigorously trained and are very capable. I'm worried you'll be in danger if you go alone. Why don't you let me go with you? I can protect your safety."

Ying Twelve leaned against a big tree, closed her eyes and rested, but her ears were always alert, listening to the movements around her.
Suddenly, a slight noise broke the quiet of the night. Ying Twelve immediately opened her eyes alertly and stood up. Her right hand tightly gripped the hilt of her sword, her eyes fixed sharply ahead, and she shouted in a deep voice, "Who? Come out!"
As she finished her words, a figure in black robes slowly emerged from the darkness. In the dim moonlight, Eagle Twelve could clearly see the person's appearance—a face wearing a silver mask, none other than Blood Shadow.
Seeing the blood shadow, Eagle Twelve breathed a sigh of relief, but still did not put down the sword in his hand.
Blood Shadow walked up to Eagle Twelve, stopped, and looked at her coldly. He asked in a cold voice, "Where did your Pavilion Master go?"
Ying Twelve put away his sword and replied, "Pavilion Master is going to explore the Xiao family army camp tonight!"
Upon hearing this, Xueying's face turned gloomy and a hint of anger flashed in his eyes.
"What a mess!" he said coldly. "The Xiao family army has strict discipline, and the soldiers are well-trained and elite. She actually dared to go and explore their camp alone. She is simply seeking her own death!"
Eagle Twelve looked at Blood Shadow nervously and asked anxiously, "What should we do now?"
Blood Shadow quickly pulled out a token from his pocket, tossed it to Eagle Twelve, and solemnly instructed, "Take this and immediately go to the city's largest medical clinic to find Shang Lu. Tell him to lead his men to meet us outside the barracks. Also, notify the rest of the Dark Moon Pavilion to rush over to support us! I'll go to the barracks first to assist Dark Moon Fairy! Blood Shadow nimbly turned over and jumped onto the horse's back, then raised the whip and galloped in the direction where Dark Moon Enchantress left!
When Blood Shadow arrived in the woods not far from the camp, he saw a horse tied to a big tree.
He was shocked, thinking that Dark Moon Fairy must have successfully entered the military camp, so he immediately tied his horse to the tree.
Then he leaped into the military camp.
Soldiers were constantly patrolling the Xiao Family Army's camp, and Blood Shadow carefully avoided them. His heart was beating fast, and he was filled with anxiety and uneasiness. This camp was so large, where on earth had Dark Moon Fairy gone?
Blood Shadow searched everywhere but couldn't find Dark Moon Fairy. Just when he felt a little desperate, he suddenly had an idea: Dark Moon Fairy might go to the commander's tent.
After all, that was the core area of the entire military camp and the most important place. If Dark Moon Fairy wanted to obtain important intelligence or complete a mission, the commander's tent was undoubtedly a key target.
Blood Shadow decided to try his luck at the commander's tent. Using his agility and nimble movements, he evaded the guards along the way and quietly approached the commander's tent. He remained highly alert throughout the journey, fearing discovery.
He approached the commander's tent cautiously, observing carefully whether there was anyone around. After confirming that there was no one around, he quickly got into the commander's tent.
The tent was completely dark, with no sight of one's hand in front of one's face. However, Xueying didn't dare to light a tinderbox to illuminate the area, as that would reveal his position. Just as he was trying to adapt to the darkness, a strong wind suddenly blew from behind, accompanied by the sound of a sharp weapon breaking through the air.
Xueying was startled and immediately dodged sideways, drawing his sword to block the attack.
He lowered his voice and said, "It's me!"
Dark Moon Fairy folded up her red umbrella. She had initially thought it was soldiers arriving, but it turned out to be Blood Shadow. The two of them exchanged glances in the darkness, neither speaking.
Just at this moment, two patrolling soldiers passed by the commander-in-chief's tent and heard the noise coming from inside. They immediately shouted loudly: "There is an enemy attack!" While shouting, they rushed over with weapons in hand.
