Xiao Hao lifted Linglong's shoulder with one hand and said disdainfully, "Aren't you a maid in the general's mansion? Don't you know any martial arts?"
Linglong replied tremblingly, "I... I just serve the young lady in her daily life. The general's mansion has guards, and maids don't need to practice martial arts!"
Xiao Hao frowned and asked impatiently, "Can you ride a horse?"

Luo Lingyue was so angry that she flew into a rage. Without saying a word, she raised her fist and punched Xiao Jinghan. However, Xiao Jinghan was agile and easily caught her fist.
Xiao Jinghan looked at Luo Lingyue with a playful smile in his eyes. He deliberately moved closer to her and said softly, "Okay, don't be angry. This is all my fault. I will listen to you from now on, okay?"
After the assassins sent by Xiao Jingyi left the woods, they lost sight of Xiao Jinghan's carriage. The guards following the carriage also dispersed in all directions.
