Ye Jingchen isn't really an eight-year-old kid. It's just a birthday gift. Why are you taking it so seriously?

He wanted to see what Ye Jingchen was trying to do with all this.
"Since you didn't prepare anything beforehand, I won't make things difficult for you. How about I give you one of your promises as my birthday gift?" Ye Jingchen asked with a smile.
