Mr. Li was the physician of the Duke of Zhenguo's mansion and the person that Physician Zhang admired most.
Ye Jingchen had met this Mr. Li the first time he brought Ye Jinghe to visit the Duke of Zhenguo's mansion. It was also Mr. Li who later confirmed that Ye Jinghe had been poisoned by the Intoxicating Flower.
Ye Jingchen believed that Ye Jinghe must still remember this Mr. Li.
When Physician Zhang said that the ointment was made by Mr. Li, he was undoubtedly telling Ye Jinghe that the ointment was given by Xie Chang'an.

"How about I apply the medicine for you myself?" Ye Jingchen said, and before Ye Jinghe could refuse, he opened the lid, dipped his finger in the ointment, applied it to the injured area on Ye Jinghe's face, and then gently rubbed it in.

"Brother, I'd like the imperial physician to apply medicine to my wounds?" Ye Jinghe asked hesitantly.
"Why? Did I hurt you when I applied the medicine?" Ye Jingchen asked with some concern.
He clearly controlled his strength.
"No!" Ye Jinghe quickly said.
“Brother is the Crown Prince, he shouldn’t be doing these things…” Ye Jinghe said hesitantly.
As long as he doesn't hurt Ye Jinghe because he doesn't know his own strength, it's fine.
"Doctor Zhang, how many wounds does Jinghe have?" Ye Jingchen asked directly.
"Your Highness, the Fifth Prince has four wounds: one on his arm, two on his back, one on his leg, and the one on his face is likely an accidental injury," Physician Zhang replied.
"Alright, you can leave now." Ye Jingchen waved his hand after hearing this.
Physician Zhang walked away carrying his medicine box and his ointment, turning back every few steps.
His gaze remained fixed on the ointment in Ye Jingchen's hand, but Ye Jingchen was worried that even Ye Jinghe wouldn't have enough of it, so he ignored his gaze.
He could always ask Xie Chang'an for another bottle of ointment another day.
Minor bumps and scrapes are common in daily life, so it's good to keep plenty of this kind of useful ointment on hand.
He'll use that as an excuse to go see Xie Chang'an tomorrow!
"Alright, there are no outsiders in the bedchamber now. Be a good girl and take off your clothes to apply the medicine," Ye Jingchen urged.
"I will take revenge myself!" Ye Jinghe emphasized again.
"Okay, okay, I promise you, I won't cause trouble for Xie Chang'an because of this!" Ye Jingchen assured him again.
"Then promise me you won't go looking for him during this period of time," Ye Jinghe asked again.
"Why? What if I need his help in an emergency?" Ye Jingchen asked curiously.
Ye Jinghe's attitude is very suspicious.
"I don't want my brother to see him. If my brother needs anything, I can help him!" Ye Jinghe said sullenly.
"Alright, I won't go looking for him for now," Ye Jingchen agreed.
The most urgent task is to apply medicine to Ye Jinghe.
As for how long this 'temporary' period will last, that's up to him.
Ye Jinghe then took off his outer robe and pulled his inner garment down to his waist. Ye Jingchen then saw two horizontal red marks of varying heights on Ye Jinghe's fair and slender back.
The wound was red and swollen, looking much more serious than his back injury.
Upon seeing these two wounds, Ye Jingchen wished he could go to Chang'an Residence to find Xie Chang'an right now.
"If it hurts, just yell out, and I'll be gentler," Ye Jingchen said to Ye Jinghe before applying the medicine.
Although he said that, Ye Jinghe didn't utter a sound while he was applying the medicine, showing remarkable strength.
After the medicine was applied to his back, he voluntarily rolled up his trouser leg so that Ye Jingchen could apply medicine to the wound on his calf.
After applying the medicine, it's time for dinner.
"You haven't gone all day without eating, have you?" Ye Jingchen asked Ye Jinghe.
Ye Jinghe remained silent, feeling guilty.
"You can't do that again! Life is all about eating, drinking, and relieving yourself. You can't ever wrong yourself!" Ye Jingchen patted his head and said.
Ye Jinghe nodded repeatedly.
Having not eaten all day, Ye Jinghe was extremely hungry. He devoured his dinner in a flash, finishing all the leftovers he usually had.
After the meal, Ye Jingchen took him for a leisurely walk in the garden to aid digestion.
After walking for about half an hour, Ye Jinghe went to take a bath and change his clothes. After he finished bathing, Ye Jingchen applied the medicine to him again.
