A layer of golden oil floated on the surface of the soup, and the tender white chicken underneath was faintly visible. Yunling couldn't help but swallow hard.
Zhang took charge of the ladle and distributed the chicken soup evenly. Yunling took a sip and almost choked on the deliciousness. Since she was a small child, Zhang put a spoonful of chicken into her bowl and let her eat slowly. The others reached into the pot with their chopsticks.
The chicken was tender and bouncy, with no gamey smell. After eating half of the meat, Zhang added vegetables. The vegetables were coated with chicken gravy, just like eating meat, and it was all gone in no time.
