Chapter 3

Chapter 3

The tightly closed door of the dean's office opened a crack, and a tall man stood at the door against the light.

He didn't respond to the bald doctor's shout, but just cast his gaze over there, moving across the bald doctor's face and naturally moving to the round and bald top of his head. He stayed there for a second before moving away.

The strange yet familiar name made Su Yin's confused mind clear up for a moment. She narrowed her eyes and looked at the so-called dean.

The shadow of the door panel obscured the man's facial features, and only his tall nose and clear facial lines could be vaguely seen. He was quite tall, with broad shoulders and long legs, so he must be a good-looking man.

It just... always feels a little familiar...

I seem to have seen it somewhere.

At this moment, Su Yin felt uncomfortable and confused. For a moment, she couldn't remember where she had seen a man with this figure.

The moment he shouted, the bald doctor regretted it. The dean was not an easy person to talk to. He must have heard the noise at the door of his hospital for a long time.

What's more, the patient in Courtyard No. 3 was someone he had once taken special care of.

Having learned from the previous experience, the bald doctor did not dare to delay. He endured the pain, got up from the ground quickly, and explained the situation to the dean first.

"I'm sorry, Director. The patient had urged us to take her out and pointed us to this road. We didn't refuse for her condition. I didn't expect her to suddenly become ill and disturb you. I will take her back for treatment immediately."

In order to prove his words, the bald doctor ran towards Su Yin as fast as he could.

Although this woman had behaved violently before, she now looked half-dead and it was obvious that she was easy to control.

Su Yin's eyes were still fixed on the dean, and she spared a glance for the aggressive doctor. The moment his hand reached out, she dodged to the side and stepped out her foot to trip the doctor.

The next second, the familiar sound of a heavy object falling to the ground was heard in the silent place, along with the faint sound of broken bones.

The bald doctor cried out in pain, and was stunned from the fall. He looked at the culprit in disbelief.

This woman is really crazy, being so presumptuous in front of the dean!

Su Yin's kick was clear and obvious, and it was absolutely impossible to deny.

The young nurse opened her mouth wide in surprise at this series of smooth movements.

The frail patient didn't seem as fragile as she had imagined.

She subconsciously looked at the person with the most say here.

The bald doctor finally reacted and cried out "ouch, ouch" with a sad face.

The man at the door frame finally moved, took two steps forward, and walked out of the shadows.

After working here for so long, this was the first time the young nurse had seen the director in person... He had a face that could make people lose the ability to speak.

The sun seems to favor this person, or perhaps his own brilliance surpasses the light.

The light is warm, but this person is cold altogether, with clear and sharp facial features, giving people a sense of alienation like the snow on the mountains and the moon in the sky, and an almost inhuman indifference.

He was wearing a black shirt with every button buttoned meticulously. The well-tailored clothes outlined his perfect figure. His cold white skin was even more eye-catching against the black clothes, creating an extreme contrast between black and white.

The young nurse took a deep breath and turned to look at the young master.

Although both are beautiful, the young master from my own courtyard is more approachable.

"Help him up." The dean glanced coldly at the person on the ground, whispered to the nurse, and then locked his eyes on Su Yin. His pair of black pupils were like a bottomless cold pool, emitting a sharp light.

The moment their eyes met in the air, Su Yin's heart began to beat violently.

"Bang, bang, bang"

The pulse was beating so fast that it almost jumped out of the chest.

She twitched the corners of her mouth.

I was wondering why he looked so familiar. Turns out it was this bastard. He was wearing all black and had short hair. I almost didn't recognize him.

Even in this different world, he still looks so hideous.

The two of them stared at each other for what seemed like a century, yet less than a second.

At this moment, Su Yin's brain suddenly became extremely clear, his instinctive reaction overcame his weak body, and the power emerging from the depths of his soul flowed to every part of his body.

She stood up straight and walked towards the dean step by step, her steps slow but firm.

The two were getting closer and closer, and invisible waves appeared in the air, and undercurrents surged.

The young nurse vaguely noticed something and pulled the doctor to stand further away.

Judging from the situation, there seems to be some unknown past between the dean and the patient...

As they approached, Su Yin raised her chin and said, "Long time no see."

The young nurse's eyes lit up and she was eager to try something new.

There is indeed a story!

"What a shame, I thought you were dead, you bastard."

One sentence breaks the beauty.

Little nurse:???

Wait, the plot development seems a little wrong.

The plot development is definitely wrong.

Under the astonished gaze of the bald doctor and the young nurse, Su Yin smiled, raised her hand with lightning speed, and slapped the man in the face without any warning.

The young nurse closed her eyes in fear.

In the silence, only a soft "pop" was heard.

The sound is not even as loud as the sound of people applying toner on customers' faces in a beauty salon.

Dean:?

Suyin: ...

Good news: the slap happened.

The bad news: The effect is equivalent to touching someone's face.

The expected situation did not occur. The young nurse quietly opened her eyes a little and secretly observed the reactions of the two parties.

The two people were standing very close to each other, their postures were obviously ambiguous, one person's hand was on the other's face, but they gave people a sense of irreconcilable separation, especially the look in their eyes when they looked at each other - revealing a chilling murderous intent.

The young nurse shuddered.

The enemy's head was right in front of him, but he was powerless to take revenge. This was the first time Su Yin felt so regretful. He was too lazy to resist and let people pierce him for the past two days, and now he ended up like this.

The previous blow to the bald doctor had already exhausted her physical strength. She was able to walk steadily to the person only because of hatred, but her physical limits restricted her performance.

At the most important moment, I didn’t even have the strength to slap someone!

The person who received the slap closed his eyes.

When he opened his eyes again, the cold aura around him had completely disappeared.

He lowered his eyes, with a flash of scrutiny in his gaze, and tilted his head slightly. The skin that was touching each other finally separated, and the cold yet soft touch remained on his cheek.

He frowned unconsciously, took a step back, and distanced himself from Su Yin.

The latter was unwilling to give in and took two steps back.

Even after they separated, the tense atmosphere did not disappear, but instead intensified.

When the person in front of him attacked, the first thing that wafted over was the smell of blood, and then there was a faint fragrance lingering around. Xie Lingxu paused, raised his hand, and wiped the place where he was hit. The back of his cold white fingers was stained with bright blood.

The wrinkles between his eyebrows grew deeper. He took out a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped it back and forth, with a hint of silent disgust in his movements.

Su Yin used the injured hand.

The other person's expression was even more disgusting than his. He rubbed the hand that had touched him hard on his body several times, not hiding his disgust at all.

If she had the tools, she would have cut off the sleeves that had been touched by the dog and thrown them away on the spot.

What bad luck.

There was only a long silence at the scene, and the wind blowing through the bamboo forest made a rustling sound.

The bald doctor regained his sanity and suddenly regained his confidence.

You can't blame him for this. This patient went crazy and even beat the director.

He vented all the grievances that he hadn't dared to cry out just now: "Dean! Dean, look at her! She dared to throw me down just now, and now she dares to hit you. Who knows what she will do in the future!"

"Director, this isn't the first time this patient has been violent. She kicked me before you even left, and my waist still hurts. Director, please help me!"

"It's so noisy!"

Amid the noisy sounds, Su Yin's face turned paler than before, and she used up all her remaining strength to barely stay standing.

Dr. Wang closed his mouth reflexively.

Then I thought, that’s not right, the dean is here, why would he be afraid of a mentally ill patient!

He spoke again: "Dean, look at her, she dared to bully her attending physician in front of you. You can imagine how arrogant she is behind your back!"

Xie Lingxu finally gave him a look, "Doctor Wang?"

The voice was just like him, cold as ice and jade.

There was an invisible sense of oppression as he glanced down, and Doctor Wang's voice softened unconsciously. "Hey, it's me, Dean. You still remember me..."

Xie Lingxu's gaze turned to the young nurse again.

The young nurse was startled and stood up straight, like a student whose name was called.

"Hello, Dean. I am the nurse who takes care of the Young Master."

Xie Lingxu raised his eyebrows slightly, picked out the title, and repeated it word by word: "Young Sect Master?"

In her daze, Su Yin still managed to spare the energy to stab him, "Hey, why are you pretending not to know me? Did the thunder from heaven destroy your brain?"

When he was chasing her, he didn't fail to recognize her identity.

Xie Lingxu raised his eyelids but ignored her. His gaze briefly moved to a broken bamboo and then turned back to the little nurse.

The young nurse explained earnestly, "Director, you said that everything should be done according to the patient's needs, as long as it doesn't affect the patient's condition. So, for now, we will address him as Young Sect Master."

"Thank you Lingxu."

The voice was sarcastic.

He finally turned back.

Su Yin made a soft "tsk" sound.

They look the same, have the same voice and the same name. This bastard was not killed by thunder and he even wore the same clothes with her.

Is there anything more unacceptable than having your nemesis killed and then cross-dressing with you, and having him cross-dress with you in a position that is superior to you?

Amidst the ups and downs of her mood, Su Yin couldn't catch her breath and fainted spectacularly.

The young nurse was startled and rushed over to greet the person, "Young Sect Master! Young Sect Master, what's wrong with you?"

The woman who had lost consciousness naturally could not respond to her call. She fell down lightly like a fallen leaf, and was held in the arms of the young nurse just before hitting the ground.

The thin body in her arms was almost weightless, and the nurse's heart, which had just been relieved, began to lift again. She lowered her head and carefully observed the patient's condition.

Pale blood vessels were clearly visible on the sickly pale skin, the body temperature was alarmingly low, and even though he fainted, his brows were tightly furrowed, and his condition was very scary.

"Director, the patient's condition is very serious and needs to be sent back for treatment immediately. There can't be any delay!"

To the nurse's surprise, the director, who was always tolerant towards patients, did not move at all. He just stood there, looking down at the person who had fainted in her arms.

She called out again, "Dean?"

"Send her back."

Xie Lingxu finally moved, gave an order in a calm voice, hesitated for a moment, and pulled the wheelchair in the distance over.

The young nurse was short and it was difficult for her to hold the patient. As she moved, the patient's waist bent into an incredible arc.

She had no choice but to ask the dean: "Dean, can you help me?"

Xie Lingxu closed his eyes, and under the pleading gaze of the young nurse, he stretched out two fingers and supported the man's shoulder.

Even through a layer of cloth, his fingertips could still feel the coldness of the skin underneath. His movements froze for a moment, and he let go of the person's hand almost the moment he put the person on the wheelchair.

"Then Dean, I'm leaving first."

The young nurse had no time to deal with the rest of the situation. She hurriedly gave instructions and left quickly pushing the wheelchair.

Over there, Dr. Wang, who was ignored by everyone, was leaning against the wall with his hands on his waist while repairing the wound. He was catching his breath with his eyes closed when he suddenly felt a shadow appear in his sight.

He opened his eyes and saw the dean's expressionless face.

"Tell me about her situation."

It's obvious who she's referring to.

This was just a normal question, but Dr. Wang was so panicked that his hands were sweating from nervousness.

He always felt that the dean in front of him was more difficult to talk to than before. There was an indescribable sharpness about him that made people dare not look directly at him.

Xie Lingxu did not urge him. He slowly and methodically pushed aside the bamboo and wood, and accurately found the one that Su Yin had used among the complicated branches on the ground. He picked it out with a towel and threw it in front of Dr. Wang.

The end of the emerald green bamboo stick was stained with dark blood, which was very eye-catching.

He said only two short words: "Explain."

"This really has nothing to do with me! She just went crazy and scratched herself!"

"Dean, Miss Su's condition..." Doctor Wang's hand hanging by his side trembled, and he closed his eyes again. Then he spoke intermittently about the supernatural incident two days ago.

"You know, Miss Su has been in the sanatorium for a year. Her condition has been stable, but for some reason, a nurse suddenly found her committing suicide in her room two days ago!"

"Then something strange happened. She was clearly diagnosed as brain dead, her body was cold, and she was about to be cremated, but she actually came back to life!"

Coming back from the dead was strange enough, but...

The doctor recalled Su Yin's face and took the initiative to mention to the dean the point that he had deliberately ignored in the past two days - the two symmetrical moles under her eyes.

The pair of black moles had not existed before, but suddenly appeared when this woman was resurrected. Her originally gentle and delicate appearance became extremely weird because of the pair of moles.

Dr. Wang is her attending physician and has been taking care of her since she was admitted to the hospital. He knows the patient's symptoms very well, but Su Yin, who has come back to life, seems like a completely different person.

She didn't remember anything, yet she logically fabricated an identity for herself as the young master of an evil sect. Her behavior was mad and illogical, just like today...

As he spoke, Dr. Wang secretly opened his eyes a little to observe the dean's reaction.

There was no reaction, he was very calm throughout the whole process. No matter how weird or evil his words were, this person did not show any emotional fluctuations.

Doctor Wang couldn't help but ask, "Director, are you not surprised at all by what happened to her?"

Xie Lingxu remained silent, his expression indifferent.

Su Yin, the young master of Xiaoyao Sect, is marked by a mole under his eye.
