Chapter 21 The Dead Husband

On the wooden bridge beside the lake, Qiao Di fainted on the ground. Da Dong, who was standing next to her, glanced at her, then lowered his head to look into the river, frowned and said, "I've caught the person for you, hurry up and possess him."

There was no movement in the dark lake. After a few seconds, a woman's face suddenly appeared under the lake. Her complexion was pale, her pupils were also gloomy white, and her black hair floated on the water like thin snakes.

The woman had a sinister look on her face. She clearly didn't open her mouth to speak, but her sharp and dissatisfied voice could be heard all around.

"Dadong, you're in trouble."

"I have a reason for this."

Dadong frowned, looking a little irritated, "Hu Li, don't talk nonsense, this is the order of the young master, he asked me to kill this family."

He hated Hu Li when he was alive. Wasn't she just a housekeeper? She lectured him every day. Even after she died, she was still annoying.

If the young master hadn't gotten into trouble and the priest hadn't been so difficult to deal with, why would he help Hu Li to resurrect?

"Where is that foreign woman?" Hu Li couldn't leave the water, so she could only use her long hair to wrap around Jodi's ankles and drag her into the water.

Speaking of this, Dadong became even more annoyed. His face twisted for a moment: "Didn't I tell you? The young master has lost his memory, and now he is in love with that foreign woman! He asked me not to kill her."

“Hehehe…”

Hu Li let out a hoarse laugh with an ambiguous meaning, revealing a chilling chill, "Falling in love with your enemy..."

"Then let the young master recover his memory."

After saying this, as Jody's body sank into the water, her pale face gradually disappeared.

Finally, he had accomplished something satisfying, and the depression between Dadong's brows dissipated a little. Although he didn't like Hu Li, this woman always had more ideas than him.

But before Dadong could be happy for long, two footsteps were heard behind him.

"Josie! Where did you put Jody!"

He turned his head sinisterly, with a strange arc on the corner of his mouth.

"You guys are late."

Hou Liang's eyes instantly turned red when he heard this. He rushed forward and tried to strangle Dadong's neck, shouting loudly: "Give my daughter back to me!!"

Cecil didn't react in time and could only yell, "Don't go over there!!"

When Hou Liang's hand was only a few centimeters away from Dadong's neck, his body suddenly seemed to be frozen in place.

From Hou Liang's perspective, the face of the evil ghost in front of him kept changing, and finally returned to the most familiar face of a girl - his daughter Qiao Xi.

Qiao Xi's face was covered in blood, and she looked pale and terrified. She grabbed Hou Liang's arm and said in a frightened and panicked voice: "Dad, come and save me!"

"Qiao Xi!" Hou Liang's eyes were red with anger, and his voice seemed to be squeezed out from between his teeth, "Dad will save you!"

But the next second, the expression on Qiao Xi's face suddenly changed and she laughed horribly.

"Hahahaha save me."

She tilted her head, her pupils gradually turned black, her dead eyes were full of evil, and the girl's voice was mixed with the hoarseness of a middle-aged man: "But, I'm already dead."

Before Hou Liang could react, a long pointed stick suddenly stabbed towards his stomach.

As soon as the wood penetrated a little, a hand grabbed Hou Liang's shoulder and pulled him back.

Being disturbed by the same person again, Dadong's face suddenly became gloomy, and he stared at the man in front of him: "Do you really think that what you have can really deal with me?"

Cecil sneered: "If you can't deal with it, why bother running out of the house."

He didn't waste any more words, just picked up the scripture and started reading, while splashing the holy water in his hand at the other person.

Dadong looked at him and thought to himself that something was wrong. He wanted to dodge but his body couldn't move at all.

The holy water was sprinkled on his body, and his soul seemed to be burning on fire. He instantly let out a shrill scream, which caused a commotion in the woods, and the cries of crows could be heard all around him.

"Hu Li!! Do you want to see me get killed by him?!"

Dadong's voice was torn apart, and the remaining strength could no longer maintain the functioning of this body, and his originally ugly and terrifying appearance was exposed.

After hearing his words, Cecil frowned secretly, but he continued talking. Sweat also appeared on his forehead, and he did not look as relaxed as he looked.

Just as Dadong finished speaking, the lake behind him suddenly made a splashing sound. A woman's head quietly emerged from the water, her light-colored hair hanging wetly in front of her eyes. Her pair of light-colored eyes, which were always lively, were now dead silent and slightly cold.

The woman's hands were placed on the wooden bridge, her fingertips were white and her skin was abnormally pale, just like the corpses in the morgue.

She slowly revealed her entire face, and the moment they saw that face, Cecil and Hou Liang's faces suddenly turned pale.

This is Jody's face!

At this moment, Jodi has become the second Qiao Xi.

The woman slowly climbed out of the lake, stood on the wooden bridge, and looked down at Dadong's miserable appearance. There was no fluctuation in her lifeless eyes, and the corners of her mouth were even raised without any emotion.

She raised her hands in the air, tilted her head back, and took a breath of the outside air. She looked fascinated and murmured, "Air, I haven't smelled it for a long time."

Cecil looked alert, and he turned to read scriptures to Hu Li, but the other party just glanced at him with contempt.

The next second, Hu Li disappeared from the spot, and instead flashed behind Cecil, and kicked him against the tree with an expressionless face.

She walked up to Dadong, grabbed his hair, and said with a cold look: "Dadong, Dadong, your soul is so useless, you should restore the memory of the young master."
