Chapter 5 Acting Showdown
Even before the door was opened, the sound of a woman crying could be heard coming from inside the house.
If you're smart, you'll know to walk away when you see a woman crying, since women rarely reason when they're crying.
Gu Heng glanced at Assistant Yin.
Assistant Yin had no choice but to bite the bullet and knock on the door. As soon as his hand touched the door, it was easily pushed open. Gu Heng shifted his gaze slightly, looking at her two bright eyes, one on each side. He smirked, and the last thing he did was straighten his tie. He nodded slightly to Chu Xiang, then turned and left.

Upon seeing Gu Heng approaching, Chen Wanrou immediately covered her face and wept, her voice filled with sorrow and bitterness.
Gu Heng: "I know you feel bad whenever you think about Gu Jue. Don't worry, I've already had someone go to your house and put away all of Gu Jue's things, so you won't be saddened by them."
Chen Wanrou stopped crying and was speechless for a long time.
