Chapter 46 Belt Buckle

Chapter 46 Belt Buckle

What Chen Wanrou didn't know was that the person who proposed sending Gu Heng to be taught by Old Master Gu was actually Gu Chaoyang, not someone Old Master Gu actively sought out, as many people believed.

Gu Chaoyang also understood that Gu Heng told him about having someone he liked not to discuss it with him, but because he was Gu Heng's father, and Gu Heng was being honest about it out of respect.

The fact that even Gu Heng believes that his identity issue will not be easily accepted shows that this is no ordinary problem.

Gu Chaoyang wasn't interested in asking any more questions. Instead, out of trust in this child who had always been sensible, he said calmly, "Since you like it, then go ahead and do whatever you want."

Anyway, every time this child makes a decision, he is prepared to bear all the consequences, so Gu Chaoyang doesn't need to say so much nonsense.

Gu Heng said, "Don't worry, I won't cause any trouble for the company."

Gu Chaoyang nodded, took a sip of tea, and suddenly looked up to ask, "You don't actually like men, do you?"

Gu Heng: "...No."

Gu Chaoyang breathed a sigh of relief. That's good. The Buddha said that all beings are equal, and physical appearance is just an external thing. If Gu Heng falls in love with a man, he wouldn't think anything of it. He was just worried that the old man would be frightened because of his age.

Gu Heng returned to his room and had just taken off his coat when his phone received a video call invitation. He sat down and answered the call. The girl's face appeared on the screen instantly. She smiled brightly and said, "I'm sorry, Brother Gu. My phone died in the car. I only saw your message after I got home and charged it."

She was referring to the many messages Gu Heng had sent her, asking if she had arrived home safely.

Chu Xiang had just finished showering and was only wearing a thin slip dress. Her hair was still wet, and her body seemed to be covered with a layer of water mist. In addition, she was holding her phone and sitting on the bed in a nonchalant manner. If she bent over slightly, you could see the cleavage that was faintly visible under the girl's delicate collarbone, which was very alluring.

Gu Heng lowered his voice, "Xiangxiang, sit down."

Chu Xiang pouted in dissatisfaction. This man was really nitpicking. He hadn't seen her like this before, when he usually hugged and kissed her. When asked to stand up straight, she reluctantly sat up, her dark eyes clearly showing her displeasure and unwillingness to talk to him.

Gu Heng loosened his tie with one hand and put it aside. Looking at the girl in the video, he could only resignedly coax her in a soft voice, "There's a new game launch event at the company next month. I'll take you there."

Sure enough, she became interested as soon as she heard this. "I've seen it online. It's a martial arts competitive game developed by Black and White City, right?"

"Yes, we can try it out then."

Chu Xiang excitedly held her phone up high, her face beaming, "Gu Heng, you're so kind!"

Actually, it's quite easy to make her happy.

Gu Heng said gently, "Dry your hair before you go to sleep."

Chu Xiang said, "I know, I was just trying to chat with you as soon as possible, so I didn't have time to dry my hair."

She got out of bed with her phone, walked a few steps to her desk, sat down in a chair, placed her phone on the stand on the desk, and then took out a hairdryer from the side.

Chu Xiang crossed both legs on the chair, reverting to her carefree and unrefined sitting posture. This time, Gu Heng didn't say anything to her.

While drying her hair, Chu Xiang complained to her boyfriend on her phone, "We only have two days off this weekend, but our Modern Chinese teacher assigned us to write a 2,000-word paper. This is too difficult."

Gu Heng came up with a terrible idea: "Then let's not write it."

Chu Xiang: "How can that be! How can you not do the homework assigned by the teacher?"

Miss Chu has always been a good student, unlike those rich kids who like to argue with teachers to show off their differences. As a result, she has good grades, is obedient, and is liked by teachers, so more boys regard her as a goddess.

After all, for many boys, a girl who is both beautiful and academically successful can easily occupy the position of a "white moonlight" during those budding years.

Gu Heng chuckled softly, "Then write a thousand words a day. Think of it this way: five hundred words in the morning and five hundred words in the afternoon. You can finish it quickly, right?"

Thinking about it, Chu Xiang suddenly realized that two thousand words weren't actually that much. It was just a matter of changing her perspective; even complex issues could become much simpler. As she looked at Gu Heng, her eyes gradually filled with more admiration. "It's so wonderful to have a boyfriend with stable emotions."

Gu Heng smiled, "It's my honor to receive Xiangxiang's affirmation."

He has such great manners.

Chu Xiang didn't even bother with her half-dry hair. She stared at the man on the screen, her eyes slowly gathering more light.

The white shirt Gu Heng was wearing still bore the marks of her hands crumpling it, hinting that behind the rose bushes that night, they were secretly doing something behind the scenes.

The man had broad shoulders and a narrow waist. Only she knew how lean his waist was and how strong and powerful his chest was beneath his neat clothes, despite his seemingly ascetic appearance. When he held her in his arms, it was like a wild beast imprisoning its prey. Her movements were confined to the small territory of his embrace.

She suddenly stopped talking, and her gaze towards him grew increasingly strange. Gu Heng asked, "What's wrong?"

Chu Xiang turned off the hairdryer and tossed it aside. She leaned forward against the table, blinked her big eyes, and innocently asked, "When I don't see you every day, I try my best to think about you. Do you think I'm a good and responsible girlfriend?"

Gu Heng could tell from her expression what mischief she was up to, but he was happy to play along, so he smiled and said, "Of course."

Chu Xiang rested her chin on her hands, her dark eyes clear and innocent, seemingly not at all like someone with ill intentions. "Can I ask for a reward?"

Gu Heng didn't allow himself to look at the girl's half-exposed chest for more than a second. His eyes, as dark as ink, held restraint, yet his voice still carried a smile as usual, "What reward do you want?"

Chu Xiang seemed shy. She covered her face, but there were still gaps between her fingers. Her eyes were shining. "I want to see you take off your shirt."

Gu Heng: "That's it?"

Chu Xiang kept her head down and blurted out, "I still want to hear the sound of you unbuckling your belt!"

Gu Heng said, "Xiangxiang."

She raised her head slightly, looking at him cautiously, afraid that he would scold her again.

But Gu Heng chuckled and said, "These things can wait until you're a little older."

Chu Xiang was displeased. "I'm an adult! Don't always think I'm still a child! You can't believe you're so serious in front of a beautiful woman like me. You're not a normal man!"

She got angry and hung up the video call without any hesitation.

Chu Xiang climbed into bed feeling depressed. She didn't smoke or drink; she just wanted to have some adult fun. Was that wrong?

In another city, the rain had just stopped.

The room was dimly lit, with only a small lamp on.

Gu Heng remained seated, his black bangs framing his face. His profile was delicate, with sharp, cold lines. His gaze was still fixed on his phone, his eyes slightly closed, revealing no emotion.

The man, who usually exuded aloofness and indifference, now leaned back in his chair with an air of helplessness, the wrinkles on his pristine white shirt adding a touch of alluring laziness.

Gradually, the person sitting quietly began to make subtle movements.

The sound of a belt buckle being undone rang out abruptly in the quiet room. The man rested one hand on the table, his knuckles turning white from gripping the edge. He leaned forward slightly, his half-open eyes revealing how the hand beneath him was stirring his senses.

He closed his eyes, just as he had done on many nights before, deceiving all his senses, occasionally letting out a few syllables in a low breath, "Xiangxiang..."

Her name permeated the night, as if it had transformed into the finest magic potion.

As the madness subsided, the man slumped onto the table, one arm as his head. His breathing was unsteady, and he was covered in a thin layer of sweat. His white shirt clung tightly to his body, revealing his lean physique.

He is, of course, a normal man.

The Gu family has never had a man who is without desires or wants; the only difference is how well they can pretend.

Just like him, even when he meets the girl he has tainted countless times in his fantasies, he can still play the role of a respectable and steady older man who can gain her complete trust.

Gu Heng slightly opened his eyes, looked at the candy placed in the glass box, and slowly sighed.

How should he make his girl happy next?
