Chapter 17 Going to the Black Market (1/2)

Chapter 17 Going to the Black Market

"Xiaoqin, thank you for your hard work! When Third Brother comes back from town, he will definitely bring you some meat buns, okay?"

"Yeah! I knew it, Third Brother treats me the best!"

Nuan Ma was satisfied, showing her small teeth and smiling until her eyes narrowed into slits.

Grandma was fed up with the two guys in front of her and rolled her eyes at them.

Grandma said last night that we'd take the extra wild boar meat to the market this morning to exchange for cash. Well, the novelist seems to be saying the price at the market is very low. How about we have Dad check the black market?

Feeling a sense of urgency, Nuanbao could no longer lie down, so he immediately got up, put on his clothes, and ran out in his little shoes and with his hair in disarray.

"Hey, Nuanbao, why are you awake? Did your mom and dad's loud voices disturb you?"

Nuan Ma picked up Nuan Bao and skillfully helped Nuan Bao fasten his lace-up shoes with one hand.

"Dad, Nuanbao wants to go too!"

Nuanbao's words attracted grandparents as well.

"Baby! Do you want to go to the gay club? Wait a few days. After the sowing of the fields is finished, your mom and I will take you there!"

Grandma thought Nuanbao was bored staying at home and wanted to go for a walk!

Nuanbao shook his head.

Afraid that she wouldn't be able to explain it clearly to everyone, Nuan Baoer simply waved her hand and put the basket of wild boar meat on the ground into her own space.

"The purchasing station is trying to force prices, it's not suitable! Go to the black market, you can make more money!"

"Bao'er! Don't say that carelessly, or you'll get into trouble!"

Grandma carefully closed the kitchen door and spoke nervously.

I don’t know if Nuan’s father and mother had been to the black market before, but they didn’t look as nervous as grandma. They calmly put their heads together and whispered to each other.

Grandpa didn't say anything. He took a bowl of wild vegetable porridge and squatted at the door, drinking it with a slurp.

Finally, everyone voted by a show of hands, and the trip to the black market was approved with a 4:1 advantage.

Grandma glared at grandpa who was contradicting her, as if she wanted to eat him.

Nuanbao sat in Nuanba's basket and waved happily to his grandparents and mother.

"Bao, the road is still long, just close your eyes and get some sleep!"

"I know, Dad. If you're tired, remember to put me down. The warmer can do it by itself."

"Yeah, okay, got it!"

Although Nuan's father said this, he never intended to let his daughter fend for herself.

The road is so long, and Nuan Bao's short legs can barely fit in. He must be exhausted! Nuan's dad is reluctant to let him go.
