Chapter 258 Falling Down the Stairs

"If you really don't want to see me, I can move out tomorrow and I won't bother you anymore. Okay?"

Li Jingxian wanted to comfort Song Jin first, to steady her and prevent her from running away from home late at night. As for the future... she would talk to her slowly and persuade her slowly.

Song Jin turned her head and glanced at Li Jingxian. When she didn't see any seriousness in Li Jingxian's eyes, she understood.

She curled her lips sarcastically, "You're just trying to trick me into staying here, right? That kind of lie can only fool a three-year-old child."

Sometimes adults are like this. They can lie to children and even think that what they say are white lies.

But once the lie is exposed, they will become angry and embarrassed and lose face.

"Don't you trust me that much?"

Song Jin lowered her eyes coldly and replied, "Yes, I can't believe you."

Li Jingxian was suffering from the blow and felt a little dizzy. Seeing Song Jin was about to leave, she subconsciously reached out to pull the suitcase.

Because she was dizzy, she lost her grip and missed a step, rolling down the stairs and hitting her head against the wall.

Song Jin was originally preparing to leave with her back to Li Jingxian. She didn't hear her speak and thought she was not going to stop her.

She held the suitcase handle with one hand and grabbed her backpack with the other. When she felt something passing by her, her pupils shrank slightly.

He reached out to pull her, but failed to catch her, and watched Li Jingxian roll down the stairs.

There were several servants downstairs. When they saw someone rolling down unexpectedly, they screamed in fright.

When she looked up again, she saw Song Jin standing on the stairs. Her eyes were full of confusion, and several glances were cast at her suspiciously.

The housekeeper was the calmest person among them. He immediately took out his cell phone to call an ambulance and also called the family doctor.

There was a driver in the old house, but seeing that Li Jingxian had hit her head, no one dared to move her. They could only wait patiently for the ambulance to arrive.

Song Jin stretched out her hand, paused for a moment, and then slowly put it down. She looked at Li Jingxian, who was unconscious with a cut on her forehead, and felt a little dazed.

She knew that this matter would not end easily.

After calling the ambulance and the doctor, the housekeeper stayed beside Li Jingxian. Seeing Song Jin standing on the stairs, he comforted her:

"The ambulance will be here soon. Ms. Li should be fine. Miss, you don't have to worry too much."

Song Jin pursed her lips slightly, said "hmm" softly, put the suitcase and backpack back into the room, and when she went downstairs again, she heard whispers.

"Was the Madam pushed down by the eldest daughter? The way she stretched out her hand seemed like she was pushing someone..."

"I don't think the eldest lady is that kind of person. The lady must have rolled down accidentally. Let's not talk nonsense."

The butler glanced at them sternly, and the servants shut up one after another, but the suspicious looks continued.

After all, before Li Jingxian fell down, the servants downstairs heard the quarrel upstairs, and even heard the lady begging the eldest lady not to leave.

Song Jin went downstairs and looked at Li Jingxian with mixed feelings.

Logically speaking, she should be happy that a hated person fell and got hurt.

However, she didn't seem happy, but rather a little irritable.

When the housekeeper saw Song Jin coming down, he quickly stood up.

"Miss, Ms. Li had such an accident. Should we inform others?"

Now the only person who can make decisions in the old house is the eldest daughter.
