Chapter 36 Aunt, Fourth Brother is Back

Song Sixing suddenly fainted, alarming the doctors and nurses who were resting.

They lifted the man up and sent him for examination, but apart from a rapid heart rate and excessively fluctuating brain waves, they didn't find any problems.

In the end, there is only one conclusion: I fainted because I was too tired.

The hospital forced Song Sixing to take two days off, and after he woke up, they firmly urged him to go home and rest.

Song Sixing lay on the hospital bed and slept for a whole day and night. He woke up when the hospital was about to push him for another examination.

After waking up, Song Sixing was a little different from before.

He stared blankly at the ceiling, then turned to look at the nurse and asked:

"What year is it?"

"This year is the 20th anniversary. Doctor Song, what's wrong with you?"

It's over! Is Dr. Song sick? He can't even remember the year!

The nurse became a little worried and quickly called other doctors over.

Several doctors came in and pushed Song Sixing to do another full body check-up. They only relaxed after confirming that there was nothing wrong with him.

They called a psychiatrist over and questioned Song Sixing.

"May I have your name?"

"Song Sixing."

"How old are you this year?"

"Twenty...five."

"Great, what year is it?"

"Twenty years?"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm sure of it."

After conducting a series of psychological tests, the psychiatrist was certain that he had no mental illness and no amnesia.

The questions he asked when he just woke up could only be attributed to his sleepiness.

After the psychiatrist left, doctors and nurses from the same department came in to visit Song Sixing.

The head of the department pulled a chair and sat beside the bed, ready to persuade him to go home and rest.

"Xiao Song, we know you work very hard, but your health is the most important thing, right?"

The director patted his shoulder and continued to persuade him earnestly:

"The hospital has granted you three days of leave this time. You must go back and rest no matter what. Don't argue with me. Do you understand?"

"Okay, I understand. Thank you, Director."

Song Sixing nodded, his expression still cold, but everyone present looked as if they didn't recognize him.

This workaholic just quietly accepted the vacation arrangement?

“…Yeah, that’s good.”

The master had prepared many lines but didn't use them. He nodded and patted his shoulder with satisfaction, this time with surprisingly strong force.

Song Sixing didn't react at all, his expression remained indifferent.

After the doctors and nurses said a few words of comfort, they gradually left, and finally Song Sixing was the only one left in the ward.

He sat on the white hospital bed, tilted his head slightly, and covered his face with his palms.

"Am I...really back?"

A line of tears flowed down the corners of the man's eyes, and he laughed, a little crazy.

A suppressed and sad laugh rang out.

But in this silent ward, no one could hear.

After laughing enough, Song Sixing put down his hands and looked at his white, slender and clean hands, with sarcasm in his cold eyes.

"Cure illnesses and save lives? Huh..."

His hands were trembling slightly, and only Song Sixing himself knew that he could no longer hold a scalpel, and could no longer be an angel in white, saving lives.

Do you regret it?

No, no regrets.

If the person he wanted to save the most couldn’t be saved, does the life and death of other people have anything to do with him?

After Song Sixing's emotions stabilized, he got off the hospital bed. He raised his lips slightly, and a hint of tenderness flashed across his eyes.

"Jinjin... Fourth brother is back."
