When Song Mingjin saw who pushed the door open, he was indeed surprised.
He glanced at the time displayed on the computer desktop. It was two o'clock in the morning.
Why would the fourth brother look for him at this time?
"Where's Auntie? Has she left?"
Song Si walked to the desk and asked in a hoarse voice.
Song Mingjin felt even more strange. These days, the fourth brother didn't care at all about Song Jin running away from home.
Why did you suddenly come here in the middle of the night to ask him about Song Jin?
Are you feeling dazed after having too many surgeries?
Song Mingjin hesitated for a moment before answering him, "Song Jin left a long time ago. She came after school this afternoon."
"Did you force her to agree to your terms?"
Song Sixing looked at him, as if he would swing his fist at him as soon as he nodded.
"I don't know where she got the liquidated damages from, but she terminated her contract with the company. She didn't agree to my terms."
Song Mingjin said calmly.
Song Sixing couldn't control his anger, the indifference on his face collapsed, and he clenched his fist and hit him in the face.
"As her eldest brother, don't you feel ashamed for forcing her to do these things?"
Song Mingjin was hit unexpectedly, and felt a pain at the corner of his mouth. When Song Sixing threw a second punch, he raised his hand and grabbed it.
He looked into Song Sixing's eyes and asked coldly:
"If I don't care about her like this, then what should I do? Should I just ignore her like you did?"
Song Mingjin didn't think he did anything wrong. His original intention was just to let her go home, but she didn't follow the path he had expected.
In anger, Song Sxing paused, slowly lowered his raised fist, and smiled self-deprecatingly.
"You're right. I'm not much better myself, so what right do I have to blame you?"
He swayed a little, turned around and walked out.
Song Mingjin watched him go, feeling inexplicably irritated. Did he really do something wrong?
After leaving Guangming Media, Song Sixing stood on the quiet street late at night, feeling a little confused and not knowing where to find anyone.
He wanted to find her, apologize to her, make it up to her, and ask her to forgive him.
But he didn't know where she would be...
Suddenly, Song Sixing thought of someone, and he felt that his aunt might be there.
Song Sixing changed direction and after walking for a distance he felt it was too slow, so he simply took a taxi.
But when he got out of the car outside Jinsheng Manor and looked at the manor not far away, he suddenly felt a little afraid to get closer.
Looking up at the pitch-black night sky, Song Sixing stood on the road leading in and out of the manor, slowly waiting for dawn to come.
At six o'clock in the morning, Song Jin got up and went running again, jogging around the manor.
Song Sixing, who was standing outside the fence, saw a familiar figure appear and walked forward in surprise, but his legs were numb after standing for several hours and he almost fell down when he moved.
When I raised my head again, the familiar figure was no longer in sight.
But Song Sixing was certain that his sister was here.
Thinking that he would be able to see his sister soon, he nervously tidied his messy hair with his hands and smoothed out the wrinkles on his clothes.
Finally, he stood straight, looking expectantly in the direction of the manor gate.
Another hour passed, and a car drove out from the side. The driver rolled down the window, stuck his head out, and looked at Song Sixing in confusion.
"What are you doing here? This is not the place for you. If you have nothing else, go back."
Song Sixing did not answer the driver, but stared straight at the direction of the manor gate.
