Chapter 1: Transformed into a Eunuch

Chapter 1: Transformed into a Eunuch

Late at night, in a remote duty room in the northwest corner of the palace.

Chu Ran lay quietly on an old wooden bed. He stretched out his arms and reached between his open legs with a dead heart.

The next second, the dead expression on Chu Ran's face began to revive, and his eyes flashed with a blazing light.

Good news, great news!

His baby is still there!

But Chu Ran's joy lasted less than two seconds before his face fell into dismay.

So what's the story behind his identity as a eunuch?

Fake eunuch?

That’s right, Chu Ran has traveled through the book.

Not long ago, Chu Ran had just finished his last exam in the college entrance examination. After coming out of the examination room, he had no time to imagine a bright future when a stupid car owner suddenly crossed the zebra crossing and hit him directly.

After waking up, Chu Ran came here. It was night. He saw the wooden badge placed next to his pillow. There were several lines of densely packed traditional Chinese characters on it. After careful identification, Chu Ran finally understood that this was the badge representing his identity. His name was Chu Qinglin, and he was the lowest-ranking eunuch in the palace.

The name Chu Qinglin, including his identity as a eunuch, reminded Chu Ran of a few months ago when his senior female classmate, a lesbian, grabbed his arm and, despite his strong opposition, enthusiastically told him the ancient BL novel titled "I Am a Fan of Everyone" through various "coercive means" such as coercion and inducement.

The main plot of this book can be summarized in one sentence: the protagonist in the book is delicate and soft, easily seduced, beautiful, kind-hearted and capable, who gains a group of loyal fans in the world of the book and finally finds true love. This is a story about a handsome male protagonist.

Chu Qinglin and the protagonist are half brothers, but the protagonist is the legitimate son of an official who is highly regarded by his family, while Chu Qinglin is the son of a maidservant who was born out of wedlock and is not worthy of being in public. At the age of five, he was sent to the palace to become a eunuch.

Chu Qinglin is a villain with a petty ugly character in the novel. He has been jealous of the protagonist, Shou, since he was a child, so he would do mischief behind the protagonist's back from time to time. What's interesting is that although Chu Qinglin often does mischief, he has never succeeded, and the protagonist, Shou, always manages to escape danger for various reasons.

Chu Qinglin, on the other hand, is a vivid example of what it means to steal chickens but end up losing rice, and to hurt others but end up hurting yourself. Every time he goes through a lot of trouble, he ends up getting himself covered in dirt and bruises. But even so, Chu Qinglin just keeps going down this narrow path, not learning from his mistakes, not repenting, and always trying again after being frustrated. On the road of being a trap for the protagonist, he has accumulated countless experiences of failure, enough to write a book called "1001 Strategies to Make You Fail".

Such people will naturally not have a good ending.

In the end, all the bad things Chu Qinglin had done were exposed. He was desperate and sent people to capture the protagonist. He planned to kill him, but before he could do so, the protagonist was rescued. Chu Qinglin, however, fled into the mountains in a panic and mistakenly entered a wolf's den. In the end, he was eaten by wolves and his body was completely destroyed, ending his ridiculous and tragic life.

Chu Ran was very sad. It would have been fine if he had been dressed as a eunuch, but he had actually been dressed as a comedian. Even the small happiness of discovering that "little Chu Ran" was still there could not calm his inner sorrow.

Chu Ran’s dream has always been very simple, which is to be a salted fish that would rather sit than stand, rather than lie down, and just eat and wait to die.

For this reason, he once fantasized that maybe his family was a billionaire family, and he was not an ordinary high school student. He was actually a rich second generation, and his family was not poor, but his parents were pretending to be poor, mainly so that he could study well and not be corrupted by money, and to cultivate his good character of hard work and progress. But as soon as he graduated from college, his parents would show him a house title with a luxurious villa worth tens of millions and a bankbook of tens of millions as a gift for him to marry a beautiful wife.

But now, he probably won't be able to wait for his parents to have a chance to show their cards to him.

Chu Ran lay on the cold, hard bed, his eyes wide open, staring at the dark, bottomless Chengchen above his head that seemed like a whirlpool, as if it could suck him in.

The sky outside the window was getting brighter, and a hint of paleness was faintly visible in the eastern sky.

Chu Ran dragged his stiff body out of bed, like a corpse that had been dead all night.

He dressed and washed in a daze, then dived into a copper basin filled with clear water. He did not come out of the water until he could no longer hold his breath. When he turned around, he happened to see his own reflection in the copper mirror.

The body is slender, and the face and neck are also long and thin. The slightly open collarbone reveals a clearly protruding skeleton. The raised fingers are thin and slender, with distinct joints, extending all the way to the wrist bones that protrude abruptly.

Looking through the mirror, he looked like a willow branch that grew too much but didn't get enough nutrients. His eyes were large, dark and full of life, revealing a sense of alertness and shrewdness. But Chu Ran knew that this was all an illusion. Chu Qinglin was at most a little smart, and not much.

Chu Ran stared at himself in the bronze mirror for a while, wiped the water off his face with a dry towel, put on a dark lacquered three-peaked hat, tied the strap at his chin, stuffed two already cold and hard cakes into his arms, and went out.

Although he had experienced a devastating blow last night, Chu Ran did not intend to give up his dream. He planned to go out and find a like-minded thick thigh to hug for the time being.

From early morning to evening, from sunrise to sunset, Chu Ran squatted in the grass by the roadside. His legs and feet were numb from squatting, and he did not see his thick thighs walking towards him with hope in the bright sunlight.

Chu Ran took out the remaining pancake from his arms, intending to eat it and go back, and continue waiting tomorrow, when suddenly he heard voices not far away.

Chu Ran stuffed the pancake back into his clothes and looked through the gaps in the grass toward the gravel path.

"Where did you steal this brown sugar osmanthus cake from?"

"I'm asking you a question, are you dumb?"

"How dare you! The Third Prince asked you a question, and you dare not answer!"

The one who spoke was a tall and thin eunuch with a shrill voice. Next to the eunuch stood a young man in elegant clothes. He was about the same age as the eunuch, but a bit shorter than the eunuch. He was white and fat from eating too much, and his whole body looked like a bloated steamed bun.

The third prince, Li Gaoyou, was nicknamed Xiaopang by Chu Ran because he was short and fat.

Besides being short and fat, Xiaopang is also morally corrupt and very arrogant.

He has loved bullying people since he was young. Whenever he appears in the text, he is either bullying people or on his way to bully people.

Chu Ran took a bite of the dry pancake and secretly memorized Xiaopang's face that looked like a steamed bun. He made up his mind that if he met him in the future, he must stay away from him to avoid any unnecessary disaster.

Seeing that the other party pursed his lips and refused to speak, Li Gaoyou's face became even bigger with anger. He stretched out his hand to pry the other party's mouth open, but when he couldn't, he anxiously stuffed his fingers into the other party's mouth.

"You idiot, keep pretending to be dumb!"

During the struggle, the brown sugar osmanthus cake in the opponent's hand fell to the ground along with the plate, followed by a hissing scream of "Ah". When Li Gaoyou pulled his fingers out of the opponent's mouth, blood gushed out of the short and fat fingers.

The eunuchs and maids beside him were like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. They were horrified and rushed over to treat the wound on Li Gaoyou's finger. Li Gaoyou cried and screamed in pain. When they saw that the wound was too deep and could not be treated, the eunuchs and maids quickly surrounded Li Gaoyou and left.

The brown sugar osmanthus cake was rolled under the feet of a group of people, stuck to the soil and turned into crumbs.

Chu Ran watched silently at the side, but couldn't help but think: That's such a cruel bite!

He was not far away, so he saw it clearly. The other party bit Xiaopang so hard that he definitely wanted to bite off the other party's finger. If Xiaopang had pulled his hand back a little later, his finger would probably have been lost.

Who is this person? He is so young but has such a bad mouth.

Chu Ran thought silently, and when he looked up, he met the other person's cold and emotionless gaze.

A boy of about twelve or thirteen, with a thin and slender figure, long hair draped over his shoulders, and wearing a pair of old boots with torn soles, stood there quietly, but his eyes penetrated through the layers of branches and leaves and looked towards him without any warmth.

Oh shit.

Chu Ran's heart shuddered and he almost dropped the pancake in his hand.
