Hang Suisui stared at Yin Huaizhu, who was raising her eyebrows and smiling at her.
Blinking her glassy eyes, she nodded with utmost sincerity.
"meeting!"
As she spoke, the flower on Hang Suisui's head swayed slightly.
Seeing Hang Suisui's serious expression, Yin Huaizhu released the leaves from her head.
He brushed aside the white hair on her shoulder.
Those long, slender fingertips with distinct knuckles gently brushed against Hang Sui Sui's silky smooth hair.
Strands of hair flowed between his fingers, shimmering with a faint luster.
This was the first time Yin Huaizhu had realized that her hair was actually white.
The bright red mole between her eyebrows and the shimmering strands of hair accentuated her round, fair face, making her even more adorable.
Yin Huaizhu's face also changed to a serious expression at this moment.
His voice was clear, cold, and slow, carrying an unquestionable tone.
"You can't tell anyone that you're a ginseng, except me. And you can't show your current form to anyone but me."
Yin Huaizhu stretched out his large hands and gently cupped Hang Suisui's small face, making her look up at him.
Do you know?
Hang Suisui blinked her clear, big eyes.
He nodded quickly.
Then Yin Huaizhu's voice sounded serious.
"If someone finds out, you'll be eaten, understand?"
Hang Suisui stared at Yin Huaizhu for a moment, stunned.
Why did she feel like Yin Huaizhu was scaring a child?
Seeing that Hang Suisui did not react, Yin Huaizhu repeated it carefully again.
"Do you understand?"
Seeing Yin Huaizhu's fair and handsome face suddenly approaching, Hang Suisui quickly and solemnly nodded.
The red flowers and green leaves moved along with the head, nodding off little by little.
"Mmm-hmm, I understand!"
Will she get eaten? Of course not! She'll run away!
Tell others? She's not that stupid.
No one else is as smart as Yin Huaizhu; she still doesn't know where she slipped up.
Her pseudonym means she ran away from home.
There was absolutely no room for negotiation.
Upon hearing Hang Suisui's answer, Yin Huaizhu was satisfied and gently touched Hang Suisui's cheeks and eyebrows with his thumb while holding her small face.
Hang Suisui hesitated and opened her mouth slightly.
When did you discover it?
Yin Huaizhu chuckled softly and looked at Hang Suisui with an honest expression.
"A long time ago, when I first met you."
She arrived so early that she herself didn't even know it.
Early on, when they first met.
Hang Suisui suddenly realized what had happened, remembering how she had almost been stewed and then ran into his garden.
It must have been in her panic that she inadvertently revealed a flaw, which was then discovered by Yin Huaizhu.
Hang Suisui's watery eyes looked straight at Yin Huaizhu.
"Aren't you surprised that I'm a fairy?"
Yin Huaizhu's reaction was remarkably calm.
Her calm demeanor was not at all like a normal reaction, as if she, as a ginseng spirit, was meant to be a ginseng spirit.
He really is a villain; his psychological resilience is truly exceptional.
Yin Huaizhu coughed lightly, her dark pupils flashing with an unreadable light.
He released his hands from Hang Suisui's cheeks.
"Cough, you... you've been cultivating in the mountains all this time?"
Hang Suisui nodded, feeling a bit angry as she recalled the experience of being dug up.
"I was cultivating peacefully when I was suddenly dug out. When I opened my eyes, I found I was almost made into soup!"
At this point, Hang Sui Sui's back molars were practically grinding to powder.
"Then I ran away, couldn't find my way, and that's when I met you."
Yin Huaizhu's expression turned somewhat serious: "Be more careful when cultivating in the future. Find a safe enough place so that no one can find you again."
Hang Suisui nodded obediently as she listened to Yin Huaizhu's genuine concern.
"No more."
Last time it was to speed up cultivation and accumulate spiritual power, but now, after this period of cultivation, it is more than enough to maintain this childlike appearance.
In a few more days, she will be able to use magic to see Yin Huaizhu's past.
Yin Huaizhu looked at her, a hint of barely perceptible doting in his eyes.
He reached out and gently touched the loose strands of hair at the back of her head.
Have you ever come down the mountain before?
His tone was casual, as if he had asked the question unintentionally.
Hang Suisui was about to nod when she stopped herself.
Yin Huaizhu was asking about her time as a ginseng. She had been a ginseng twice, once when she first arrived and once now. When she was a ginseng, she never went down the mountain by herself.
Hang Suisui was about to shake her head, but then she thought...
She's not a real ginseng, and there's no way to explain why she was originally a human.
Finally, Yin Huaizhu looked at Hang Suisui and slowly nodded.
She's not some kind of fairy who knows nothing about humans.
To say he's never been down the mountain is too far-fetched.
"I went out to play a long time ago."
A barely perceptible glint flashed in Yin Huaizhu's eyes as she gazed at Hang Suisui.
Where have you been?
Hang Suisui thought for a moment and prepared to make up some nonsense.
"I don't know what places these are either, I just look at the foot of the mountain and see how the people live."
It's normal for fairies not to recognize a place; fairies know human common sense because they've seen it before!
Hang Suisui thought to herself with great satisfaction.
But Yin Huaizhu continued to press, her tone carrying a hint of expectation, as well as emotions that she couldn't understand.
"Do you remember if you've ever met anyone?"
