Chapter 155 Two Inseparable People

As soon as Qin Yu sat down, his gaze swept over the "malfunctioning" guns that had been thrown all over the ground.

She was certain that these guns were all from Cangnan.

There's no reason for it to malfunction.

Thinking about it, she got up and walked towards the gun closest to her.

Huo Zhou stood beside Qin Yu, bewildered, watching her squat down and disassemble a perfectly good gun into a pile of parts.

Just as Qin Yu reached for the gun next to him again, Huo Zhou squatted down and stopped Qin Yu's hand.

"This thing is not for playing with, it's dangerous, don't touch it."

Qin Yu glanced at Huo Zhou, said nothing, avoided Huo Zhou's outstretched hand to stop him, and picked up a gun from the ground.

Under Huo Zhou's unseen gaze, he watched as Qin Yu removed the magazine and took out a single bullet.

Qin Yu held the bullet in front of his eyes and examined it closely.

After looking at it, he put it back. His fingertips moved nimbly, and in the blink of an eye, the gun in his hand was once again a pile of broken parts.

Staring at the pile of parts on the ground, Qin Yu began to ponder.

There is nothing wrong with it.

Qin Yu looked at the things on the ground and pondered for a moment before getting up and walking towards the wooden crate full of guns behind him.

Sitting on the roof beam, Hang Suisui watched this scene with a headache.

She was there to let the two of them be alone and deepen their relationship, not to have Qin Yu solve the case!

Looking at Huo Zhou following behind Qin Yu, Hang Suisui's fingertips glowed with light as she pointed to the ground.

A rolling pebble suddenly appeared beneath Qin Yu's feet.

Caught off guard, Qin Yu slipped and fell backward.

"careful!"

Huo Zhou rushed forward and reached out to grab Qin Yu's waist.

Before her outstretched hand could even touch the clothes of the person in front of her, Qin Yu spun around and regained her balance.

Hang Sui Sui angrily stretched out her fingertip again.

Pour it out for me!

Just as Qin Yu regained his balance, he felt his body uncontrollably lunge towards Huo Zhou in front of him.

Surprised, I tried to turn around and steady myself, but my hands and feet wouldn't obey me.

She was then gently pulled into Huo Zhou's arms by the startled man.

Hot breaths whispered in his ear, their muscular bodies pressed together, and they could even hear each other's rapid heartbeats.

For a moment, neither of them moved.

One person wants to move but can't, while the other has their beloved in their arms and doesn't want to move at all.

Huo Zhou felt the warmth and softness in his arms, and his heart felt as if it were being lightly touched by a feather, making it itch terribly.

He unconsciously tightened his arms, holding the person even closer.

Qin Yu's face rested against Huo Zhou's chest, and he could clearly hear the strong heartbeat coming from above.

She subtly moved her wrist, and it moved again.

Then, somewhat awkwardly, he said, "Thank you, you can relax now."

Huo Zhou seemed to snap out of a daze as he released his grip, looking at Qin Yu's uncomfortable expression, and couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed: "Ahem... I'm sorry, I just saw you almost fall, so..."

“I know,” Qin Yu nodded.

Hang Suisui sighed.

What does she know?

Does she know how much effort she put into it?

Just as the two people under the roof beam were talking, Hang Suisui's fingertips flashed again.

This time, the two of them fell together.

Huo Zhou tried to catch Qin Yu quickly, but as soon as he grabbed Qin Yu's hand, he himself began to fall backward.

Qin Yu was pulled by Huo Zhou and stumbled.

Just as Huo Zhou's body was about to hit the ground, Qin Yu steadied himself, quickly stepped forward, and reached out to put his arm around Huo Zhou's shoulder.

Huo Zhou's body was only a dozen centimeters off the ground. When he looked up, he found himself being held in Qin Yu's arms.

Upon seeing Qin Yu so close, Huo Zhou's first reaction was...

That's still how much strength he has.

"Thanks------"

As soon as he finished speaking, his body crashed to the ground.

When he looked up again, Qin Yu had already fallen on him.

It seems he's too heavy; Qin Yu's slender body and strength are insufficient to support him.

Qin Yu, who had fallen on Huozhou Mountain, was still in a daze.

She's starting to have some doubts about life.

When did her hands and feet become so unresponsive?

Hang Suisui withdrew her hand, looking with satisfaction at the scene of the two embracing below.

This should finally work!

No matter how hard the two people under the roof beam tried, they couldn't get up; every time they stood up, they would fall back down.

After several attempts, Huo Zhou had given up.

Qin Yu, who had fallen on Huo Zhou once again, was too embarrassed to hit the person beneath him again.

Neither of them tried again for a while, and Qin Yu carefully tried to move to lie down next to Huo Zhou.

It's really inappropriate to lie on someone's body.

But the back-and-forth dawdling made Huo Zhou's breathing heavier.

“That…you…”

Qin Yu looked up: "What's wrong?"

Watching Qin Yu slowly move to the side, Huo Zhou said, "No, it's nothing."

Qin Yu lay down next to Huo Zhou, and the two of them stared at the roof tiles without making a sound.

"I wonder when the rain will stop..." Huo Zhou said slowly.

The wind outside was howling around the house, making it sound as if a downpour was about to begin.

Qin Yu turned to look at Huo Zhou. His profile appeared even more three-dimensional and profound in the dim light, with a high nose bridge and a firm jawline that made people want to look at him a few more times.

Her heart skipped a beat, and she quickly turned her head away, secretly annoyed at herself for suddenly finding the other person handsome.

Qin Yu quickly shifted her thoughts: "This rain is really heavy," she said softly.

“Yes…” Huo Zhou turned to look at Qin Yu’s profile and responded.

For some reason, an awkward yet subtle atmosphere permeated the two of them.

Just then, a gust of cold wind howled past, blowing open the window slightly, and the cold wind rushed into the room through the window.

Huo Zhou instinctively pulled Qin Yu to his side, shielding her from the cold wind with his own body.

Qin Yu felt Huo Zhou's body temperature. She glanced at Huo Zhou and found him staring intently out the window, a hint of worry in his eyes.

"I'll go close it."

Huo Zhou was about to get up when Qin Yu reached out and grabbed him.

Qin Yu pointed to the window.

"Look."

Huo Zhou turned his head again and found that the window had somehow closed by itself.

He propped himself up and looked back at Qin Yu beneath him.

Their eyes met, and both of them had deep doubts in their eyes.

Hang Suisui leaned against the roof beam and clapped her hands.

Seeing the state of these two, Hang Suisui decided to stop eating their dog food (a Chinese slang term for witnessing public displays of affection).

She turned and disappeared from the roof beam.

Go to the rooftop and get some fresh air.

Little did anyone know, Hang Suisui had just lain down on the roof and hadn't even had a chance to admire the brightest star in the night sky.

They were taken aback by a clear voice that came from afar.

"Monster! How dare you stir up trouble here!"

evildoer!!!???

Hang Suisui turned around in surprise and looked at the source of the sound.
