It was past midnight.
The clouds in the sky moved slowly, obscuring some of the moonlight.
Inside a room on the second floor of Lanzhu Garden, Yin Huaizhu carefully placed Hang Suisui on the bed.
His furrowed brows never relaxed for a moment.
"Jinqian!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Jinqian's figure gradually appeared in the room.
Looking at Yin Huaizhu's unpleasant expression and the small figure lying on the bed.
Jinqian quickly stepped forward: "What happened?"
He had never seen Yin Huaizhu so flustered before.
Jinqian quickly stepped forward.
Yin Huaizhu took a step back and watched as the white-purple light emanated from the palm of the jade pendant, brushing across Hang Suisui's chest.
"When I came out of the Spirit Suppression Division, I found her in a remote location. I followed the tracking spell I had left in her bracelet to find her, but she was already unconscious."
This tracking technique was silently cast by Yin Huaizhu on the day they met again in the garden.
It was inside the silver bracelet that Hang Suisui was wearing.
Silent and unnoticed, no one could detect it.
As long as they are far away, Yin Huaizhu can detect it.
He didn't want to control her, but he also didn't want her to disappear silently from his world one day.
So that he can never find it again.
Yin Huaizhu's restless and uneasy heart always wanted to find something that could put his mind at ease.
Yunqian withdrew her hand and said thoughtfully, "Miss's spiritual meridians were sealed by an extremely yang technique, which caused a conflict with the demonic energy in her body. She hasn't recovered yet, but it's nothing serious."
Yin Huaizhu looked sharply at Jin Qian: "Are you sure you're alright?"
Jinqian hesitated for a moment, then suddenly said with a serious expression, "The thing that hurt Miss must be a talisman. Only talismans specifically designed to deal with demonic energy can cause such damage to demons, but..."
At this point, Jin Qian paused.
Yin Huaizhu's eyes, now filled with hostility, glared at Jin Qian: "But what?"
Yin Qian glanced at Yin Huaizhu sitting by the bed and said seriously.
"However, as a powerful demon, Miss should not be in this situation. Moreover, judging from the location of the talisman, it was able to hit the most important part of a demon's heart meridian. During the fight, Miss did not deliberately dodge or block at all."
Jinqian stroked his chin and continued, "Miss was born a spirit and cultivated into a great demon, there's no reason she wouldn't know how powerful it is, is there?"
"and................"
Yin Huaizhu frowned and said coldly, "Finish what you've said!"
Upon hearing Yin Huaizhu's tone, Yunqian didn't dare to delay and quickly replied.
"Miss doesn't seem to be very good at using her healing spells!"
"The yang energy of the talisman has been neutralized, but the sealed spiritual meridians have not been unblocked in time, and are still restless in the body. For Miss, as long as the talisman is not hit in the heart, it should not be a big problem and can be easily neutralized."
"I just don't know why Miss knew not to dodge."
Either Hang Suisui was unaware of the seriousness of the situation, or she simply didn't want to hide.
But since the other side is attacking so fiercely, there's no reason why they wouldn't want to dodge.
That leaves only one possibility: Hang Suisui is unaware of the power of talismans against demons.
However, on the other hand, after more than three thousand years of construction, how could they not know the extent of its power?
This is essential common sense for them, these monsters and spirits, just like a person knows that a broken neck will lead to death.
After listening to Jin Qian's words, Yin Huaizhu lowered her eyes and remained silent for a moment.
Then, looking at the unconscious Hang Suisui with her bright little face, she slowly said, "Perhaps she was born in the mountains and has never encountered this kind of situation before, so she is unaware of it."
Yin Qian looked at Yin Huaizhu's furrowed brows and the worry filling his eyes.
He didn't say anything more; perhaps his mind had become muddled from practicing cultivation.
After all, it's been so many years of cultivating oneself into a human being, one might even become confused by it.
Yin Huaizhu's eyes flashed with a fierce light as he gently stroked Hang Suisui's cheek.
"When will she wake up?"
Yunqian quickly said, "I have already unsealed the spiritual veins that Miss had blocked. Don't worry, she will wake up soon."
Before he could finish speaking, there were several knocks on the door.
Three knocks, no more, no less.
Upon hearing the sound, Yin Huaizhu glanced at Jin Qian standing in the room, and Jin Qian turned and disappeared into the room.
"Enter."
The door was opened.
Then it closed gently again.
Yin Huaizhu glanced indifferently at Qin Yu who walked in: "What's going on?"
Qin Yu stepped forward, bowed slightly, and recounted in detail everything from what he had discovered at the remote dock, to how he met Huo Zhou, how he left the brick house, and how he met Hang Suisui. He didn't miss a single word.
"When Huo Zhou and I came out, we found the young lady next to the haystack in front of us. There was nothing suspicious around her."
Without a doubt, the one who injured Hang Suisui was a Taoist priest.
Yin Huaizhu's eyes grew increasingly cold, like a deep pool in the cold night, sending chills down one's spine.
But why would Hang Suisui suddenly run off to that desolate place?
During this period, even when Hang Suisui went out, it was only to cultivate in the ancient mountain.
Yin Huaizhu glanced at Qin Yu standing in front of her.
Is the gun malfunctioning?
The two suddenly became unable to move?
Suddenly there was wind and thunder outside?
The unusual weather suddenly stopped, and the two of them were able to move again?
Hang Sui Sui..............
These three words lingered on Yin Huaizhu's tongue.
Qin Yu continued, "The people from Cangnan have already taken that batch of goods away."
