Under the cover of night, all was quiet.
The moonlight, like water, spilled through the window, casting a soft, silvery glow over the room.
Suddenly, a cool breeze swept past the window, sending a chill down one's spine.
Hang Suisui, who was about to sneak out under the cover of darkness, warily turned her gaze to the window.
A cool breeze was blowing at night.
Hang Suisui followed the trail of shade and landed in front of a tall building.
Looking up, only two or three apartments in the entire building had their lights on.
Hang Suisui looked up at a dark, closed window upstairs. She concealed her figure and her presence, and silently stopped in front of the window in mid-air.
The thirteenth floor is neither too high nor too low.
Through the windowpane, a pale, distorted face was reflected, its eyes gleaming with an evil light.
Through the black glass and the pitch-black bedroom, the entire evil entity could not be seen.
But one thing is certain: this is not the kind of ghost or spirit that Hang Suisui is familiar with.
Hang Suisui was startled. What was this thing?
How did I end up here?
Those evil spirits dare not approach the central area or the city center, because the central area is populated by many people with abundant yang energy.
The convergence of light and electricity creates a strong magnetic field, which generally deters evil spirits from approaching.
It will only be in the peripheral areas with low foot traffic.
Just as Hang Suisui was puzzled, the face in the room suddenly disappeared, but the eerie aura remained.
Hang Suisui suddenly realized that something was not right, so she waved through the glass and entered the room to take a look.
As soon as you penetrate the glass exterior wall, a chilling, eerie wind rushes in.
This wind is imperceptible to ordinary people.
Just then, Hang Suisui saw a little girl lying on the bed. Her face was as pale as paper, her eyes were closed, and she was fast asleep.
Hang Suisui looked around but found no trace of the evil creature.
That evil creature never left this room.
At this moment, the little girl lying on the bed with her eyes closed was trembling slightly, her brows were furrowed, and her face showed a hint of fear and intense unease.
It was as if he was being plagued by some terrible nightmare.
Without hesitation, Hang Suisui raised her hand, and a streak of emerald green light flashed across the little girl's forehead.
A moment later, the little girl, still asleep, relaxed her brow and her face returned to calm.
However, the evil creature has yet to appear.
Hang Suisui's eyes turned cold. She flipped her palm, and an invisible wave enveloped the nightmare on the little girl.
Sensing the external forces, the evil creature began to struggle, causing the sleeping little girl to frown slightly and stir restlessly.
Hang Suisui rotated her palm, controlling the force in her hand.
Ultimately, the evil spirit could not withstand Hang Suisui's powerful strength. As Hang Suisui slightly raised her palm, she detached the evil spirit from the little girl's body.
Hang Sui Sui trapped the evil spirit in her palm, preventing it from moving.
As the evil spirit was removed, the little girl returned to her peaceful sleeping state.
The evil creature tried to break through Hang Suisui's restriction, but Hang Suisui didn't even glance at it again.
With a clenched fist, the evil creature instantly turned into a wisp of black smoke and dissipated into the air.
As the last wisp of black smoke completely dissipated, Hang Suisui turned and disappeared into the room.
Throughout the entire process, Hang Suisui moved lightly and silently, avoiding waking the little girl.
Hang Suisui looked at the white light flashing on the lines of her palm.
The merits that came to her door were actually more than the merits she had earned from the small achievements she had made recently.
It seems that the evil creature she didn't even glance at earlier had some power.
It creates dreams for people, causing them to be excessively frightened in their sleep, and then drains their vital energy.
People who use it will only think that they haven't slept well, thus feeling physically and mentally exhausted and unable to muster the energy to do anything.
If repeatedly or excessively ingested, it can cause mental instability and confusion.
It seems this evil creature has cultivated itself to the point where it is no longer afraid of lightning and fire, which is why it dares to show itself in this bustling city.
Unfortunately, before it could even utter a cry, it was completely crushed by Hang Suisui.
Under the moonlight.
Hang Suisui followed the scent and arrived at the edge of the city again.
Here stands an abandoned building, overgrown with weeds, exuding an eerie atmosphere.
Concealing her presence, she vanished silently into the deserted building.
The building looks like it has been abandoned for many years and is devoid of any human presence.
In desolate and uninhabited places, evil spirits are most likely to arise.
Upon entering the building, a sense of antiquity immediately hits you.
In the darkness, Hang Suisui frowned, avoiding the dust and debris on the ground. It seemed that a disaster had once taken place here, with broken glass and scattered documents everywhere.
The walls were covered with spider webs.
A gentle breeze blew, and the entire building was eerily silent.
As you walk further in, the chilly atmosphere gradually intensifies.
In the center of the hall, there was a wooden box that looked quite old.
Just as Hang Suisui approached the wooden box, a strong sense of malice washed over her.
Hang Suisui took a step back, waved her hand, and a flash of green light opened the wooden box from a distance.
Upon closer inspection, a fist-sized black bead was found inside the wooden box, emanating a chilling aura.
Something's wrong with this bead.
Hang Suisui stepped forward, her hand glowing with points of light, and a black bead floating in the air.
She reached out her hand, and as soon as her fingertips touched the black bead, she felt a chilling sensation.
If Hang Suisui isn't mistaken, this bead...
