Chapter 38 A Sudden Encounter

"Um, you can continue, I'll go now."

Hang Suisui smiled awkwardly.

It's really embarrassing to disturb someone while they're urinating.

After listening to Hang Suisui's words, a barely perceptible undercurrent flashed in Yin Huaizhu's eyes.

continue?

Yin Huaizhu's eyes flickered slightly. Did she know he was looking for something?

Or perhaps this woman saw what he was looking for?

Yin Huaizhu gave a barely perceptible smile, lowered her eyes, and still asked Hang Suisui softly, "It's getting dark, and it's easy to get lost in the woods. If you don't mind, would you like to come out with me?"

He's stopped urinating?

Hang Suisui glanced into the woods. The moonlight shone on the branches, creating dappled light and shadows. It was easy to get lost if you weren't careful.

Although she has a navigation system and won't be unable to find her way out, it's possible that this person might not be able to find their way out.

Never mind, she'll just consider it a good deed.

"Let's go together then, it's easy to get lost in this forest."

Yin Huaizhu nodded politely and took the first step, gesturing for Hang Suisui to follow.

Throughout the journey, Yin Huaizhu maintained a distance of about one foot from Hang Suisui, ensuring that she wouldn't feel threatened in the darkness.

Yin Huaizhu's face was indifferent. Under the moonlight, his elegant figure stood out, and he was as calm as if he were in his own backyard, without the slightest trace of panic.

Is he on the right track? Will he lead me astray?

001 answered Hang Suisui's question: "He's on the right path, there's no problem. This direction leads directly to the restaurant entrance."

Hearing 001's answer, Hang Suisui felt much more relieved.

The two walked in silence, one in front of the other, with only the rustling of the wind through the woods.

The person in front walked slowly and stood tall, their dark-patterned coat shimmering subtly in the moonlight.

The quality of these clothes and the air about them suggest they're not from an ordinary person.

The lights in the woods ahead gradually brightened, and the brightly lit restaurant could be vaguely seen through the gaps in the trees.

"Cough, cough, cough."

A soft cough came from ahead, and Hang Suisui saw the person in front of her stop, leaning on a tree beside them.

Why is this person still so sickly?

No wonder she could see the other person's pale face even though she couldn't see their features clearly in the dappled shadows.
