Chapter 53 The Innocent Yet Foolish College Student

The weather in early summer is neither too hot nor too cold, just right.

The sun was shining brightly, casting a soft glow through the clouds, bringing a touch of warmth.

A gentle breeze rustled the leaves.

On a bustling street, Hang Suisui, dressed in a simple white T-shirt and jeans with her hair tied back, attracted a lot of attention.

Hang Suisui's smile was radiant, as dazzling as the early summer sun.

That's a billion!

Anyone with a billion dollars in their pocket has to be a little proud!

The people who were scattered along the street all followed Hang Suisui's figure with their eyes.

That girl has such a beautiful smile!

The streets were bustling with people, though not so crowded in the afternoon; people strolled around slowly and casually.

A couple on a date had their ears pulled.

What are you looking at?!

The girl was holding a bouquet of bright red roses and looked up, pulling on her boyfriend's ear with one hand.

The boy whose ear was being pulled pulled averted his gaze from following Hang Suisui, and kept groaning.

"Oh no! I was wrong, I was wrong, I didn't see anything."

The girl clearly didn't believe him and tightened her grip again: "So you're the only one with eyes, huh?"

Your eyes are practically glued to the person, and you still dare to say you didn't see them?

His ears started to turn red from being pulled, and the boy, having no other choice, began to beg for mercy.

"Oh, oh, oh, Grandma, please let go! I promise I'll never watch it again, okay? Really!"

He didn't mean anything by looking at that girl; he simply thought she was pretty, like admiring a beautiful landscape.

Hearing the boy beg for mercy, the girl let go of his hand: "If you dare to look at me like that again, you can stay single forever!"

She even kicked the boy while saying that!

Upon hearing this, the boy clearly understood the situation and immediately went to buy a cup of milk tea to apologize to his girlfriend.

Any normal man can tell whether a beautiful stranger or his beloved girlfriend is more important.

"Come on, come on, didn't you like that gold pendant? Let's go buy it now! Buy two!"

The boy made a "two" gesture with his hand in front of the girl, which finally made her laugh.

The petty squabbles between the young couple, fueled by jealousy, drew smiles from the elderly folks sitting on the street who watched the whole thing. Even after the couple had walked away, they couldn't help but laugh.

Hang Suisui, who was standing in front waiting for the traffic light, naturally listened to the whole thing.

Hang Suisui stood by the zebra crossing, ears perked up, eyes fixed on the traffic lights ahead.

At this moment, turning around would only make things awkward for the three of them!

Fortunately, the couple wasn't walking on the same street as him.

The green light came on across the street, and Hang Suisui was the first to step out, while the voices of the couple behind her gradually faded away.

After crossing the zebra crossing, stepping over the flower bed, passing several shops with a dazzling array of goods, and walking a few more steps, I saw a few large characters.

Tokyo Bank

There were quite a lot of people on Wednesday.

Hang Suisui stood at the door and looked into the bank, watching the bustling crowd inside.

Looking at the long queue, it was almost squeezed to the entrance.

Hang Suisui didn't want to squeeze in there.

Just as Hang Suisui was hesitating, she heard the discussion of several elderly women and men next to her.

A middle-aged woman dressed in a flashy outfit and sporting a perm craned her neck and looked towards the counter: "Everything was fine, so why is the system under maintenance today?"

The old man next to him, upon hearing this, turned around with a look that said, "You didn't know this, did you?" and said, "It's because the system inside is being upgraded! After the upgrade, processing things will be much faster!"

The people around who heard the old man's words asked him a barrage of questions.

"An upgrade? How long will we have to wait?"

"No wonder so many people are waiting here."

"I know, I know. I just asked the manager inside, and it will take another hour and a half."

Hang Suisui heard the sound and looked into the hall.

An hour and a half?

Should she wait a while before going in?

Shall we go for a walk first?

Having made up her mind, Hang Suisui withdrew from the bank.

On the overpass in the street, a gentle breeze brushed against my hair.

Standing on the bridge, I looked down at the endless stream of vehicles on the road below and the bustling shops along the street.

And the crowds coming and going, each one so vibrant.

Hang Sui Sui felt lost for a moment.

Is this really not the real world?

Before Hang Suisui could think too much about it, she had just stepped down the steps of the overpass and was almost at the bottom when she was attracted by a sound from below.

That voice! That tone! That rhetoric!

This tastes like this.

She knows it all too well!

"You are destined to be unlucky, unable to keep people in your life, which is why none of your relationships have worked out."

The voice paused, then said with a hint of regret, "Alas, this is also your tribulation~"

Hang Suisui stood on the steps she was almost down, leaning on the railing and looking down at the overpass.

Then they saw a man who looked like an old man with a long beard, wearing a gray jacket, sitting on a small stool under the bridge pillar.

In front of him was a Bagua diagram, with a string of copper coins on it, a divination stick container in the middle, and a gourd in the upper right corner.

Hang Suisui nodded to herself; the equipment was quite complete.

The old man stroked his white beard, his bright, cunning eyes glancing furtively at the young man squatting in front of him.

The old man was shaking his head and sighing, looking quite sorry for the young man's plight.
