Chapter 233: Killing Madness
Qiao Susu reacted quickly, waving her hands, and two sharp blades of light instantly appeared in her hands.
She teleported behind the soldier in a microsecond, and the light blade drew a dazzling arc, and the guard fell to the ground before he could react.
Time was running out, so she didn't stop and ran quickly to the depths of the prison.
The iron gates, as fragile as paper, shattered beneath her blade. Alarms wailed suddenly, red lights flashing, but she had no time to care, only to rush forward.
Hearing the alarm, a dozen guards rushed over. They worked in groups of three, each armed with a laser rifle, clearly trained professionally. As the laser bullets came at them, Qiao Sui Sui dodged by moving sideways and throwing the light blade in her hand.
A blade of light pierced straight through the heads of the three people and nailed to the wall behind them, making a buzzing sound.
At the same time, a bloody cut appeared on the side of her face, but it healed automatically after a few seconds.
Qiao Susu wiped the blood off her face with her thumb and licked her lips.
She released half of her mental power, which was originally as gentle as the wind, suddenly turned into a hurricane that stirred up waves, sweeping away the guards.
These guards are all well-trained A-level. In the past, the pregnant Qiao Susu was no match for them at all.
But at this moment, she turned around and closed her eyes, with ten light swords in her hands.
No one saw when or how she threw it out.
I saw blades of light flashing before my eyes, and my companions fell to the ground.
Her movements were clean and efficient, without any delay.
One of the survivors' eyes was filled with fear. He trembled as he fired. The bullet grazed her shoulder, but she didn't care and continued forward. Without even looking back, she threw another light knife.
"Puff—"
It hit the man right between the eyebrows.
"Boom—"
The last guard fell to the ground with bloodshot eyes, and the entire corridor was littered with corpses.
At the end of the corridor, a heavy iron door blocked her way.
Qiao Suisui crossed her arms, and the light blade burst out with intense energy, slashing at the iron door. The door opened with a sound, revealing a dim passage inside.
In the hallway, the guards, already alerted by their communicators, were waiting for her. They were equipped with heavy weapons and protective shields. Without hesitation, Qiao Suisui raised her hands, and two dazzling arcs of light blades pierced the air. She rushed at the enemy at breakneck speed, dodging the laser beams while precisely piercing the shields. As the guards fell one by one, her figure flickered like a ghost in the light.
She was almost running forward, killing one person with every step.
"I don't have time to waste on you. Sorry."
After she finished speaking, she leaped up from the spot. No one could see her figure clearly. They only saw countless blades of light spinning in the air, rushing towards their faces.
The prison guards reacted quickly, but she was even faster. The light blade flashed like lightning, and everyone fell to the ground.
Qiao Susu ran towards the water dungeon without any hesitation.
Water dripped from the ceiling, and the air was filled with dampness.
Covered in blood, she casually picked up a laser saw from the system and cut open the heavy iron door.
She threw the chainsaw aside and pushed the door open, her heart beating uncontrollably.
With trembling hands, Qiao Susu pushed open the door and saw Anubis tied with iron chains in the corner of the dungeon. He was lying on the ground with his eyes closed and breathing weakly.
"Compare!"
She whispered, quickly cutting the chains with her light blade.
Qiao Suisui immediately bought a healing capsule for 9999 from the system points store and gave it to him. She wasn't sure if this amplification effect in the system would work on anyone other than herself, so she stared at Anubis nervously, calling his name repeatedly.
Time passed minute by minute, and Anubis slowly opened his eyes. When he saw her, his eyes were blank.
"Bi, let me take you out."
She was about to reach out to help him, but Anubis, who was lying down, reflexively avoided her touch and let out a threatening growl.
Qiao Susu was stunned for a moment, then her expression became firm. She approached him step by step, regardless of the risk of being attacked by him.
"It's me. I know you probably don't remember it now, but it's okay. I won't let anything happen to you."
Anubis arched his back in response, letting out the low, whimpering growls of a wolf facing an enemy. He stood guard, his body covered in scars from the experiments, his tattered clothes stained with blood, his emaciated frame barely visible.
Qiao Susu reached out to him very patiently, only to see struggle and confusion in Anubis' eyes. He hugged his head tightly, his heart almost exploding from his chest.
Why did the person opposite him look so familiar, but he couldn't remember where he was?
"We have to leave quickly," Qiao Suisui said in a quick and firm voice, "I don't have much time left."
Anubis shook his head, trying to drive away the smile that kept lingering in his mind, but when he thought that he couldn't remember this person, his heart ached again.
Seeing that persuasion was useless, Qiao Susu went up and hugged Anubis tightly.
His body stiffened in an instant, and the fangs that were originally exposed gradually disappeared in the next second.
He smelled her scent, felt her breath and heartbeat, such a strong, unreserved embrace that transcended all obstacles, as if he had already waited for it thousands of times in the darkness, but even he had forgotten it, but his body and heart still remembered it.
"Bi, come with me, okay?"
Noticing that he had become quiet, Qiao Susu smiled. She took his blood-stained hand without any disgust and held his fingers tightly.
They quickly left the dungeon. Along the way, Qiao Sui Sui knocked down all the federal guards. Her light blade flashed in the narrow corridor like the scythe of the god of death.
Finally, they rushed out of the prison, and the sunlight outside made both of them squint their eyes subconsciously.
"We're out."
Only one step left, the last one.
Last time, Anubis wanted to take her out of that staircase, behind which was the door to freedom.
Qiao Suisui held his hand tightly, and Anubis looked at her absent-mindedly.
"Don't worry about me. You, go."
He hadn't spoken for a long time, and his voice was hoarse and unpleasant at the moment, but every word that fell into Qiao Susu's ears reminded her of the scene when he was trying to take her away at the risk of his life, and the three words he never had the chance to say.
Qiao Susu's eyes turned red, but now they were filled with tears and were full of smiles.
"Where are you going to let me go by myself? If you die, I die. If you live, I live."
She took out the wolf fang that she had never been able to return to him.
Anubis saw Langya stunned and suddenly looked up at her.
It's her.
In dreams, hallucinations, darkness, and even when paralyzed by drugs, the person who appeared in my mind was her.
Qiao Susu hung the wolf fang around his neck and stood on tiptoe to kiss his lips.
"You gave it to me, remember?"
"It doesn't matter if you don't remember. We will definitely have plenty of time to remember it in the future."
She pulled Anubis, who was still stroking his lips in a daze, through rows of columns. It was still the same square, the same long steps.
Qiao Susu ran towards the door of freedom with him.
However, federal guards began to swarm in from all directions behind him, and a man wearing the uniform of a senior federal officer appeared. Qiao Susu recognized him as the man who had stepped on Anubis's hand.
Before the officer could say anything, Qiao Susu closed her eyes and mobilized her mental strength to the maximum. An energy light wave with a coverage area of 1,000 meters appeared like a mushroom cloud, covering the sky above the entire square.
'boom--'
"Bang—"
The earth collapsed.
Everyone except Qiao Suisui and Anubis fell into the crumbling cracks in the ground. No one expected that a frail-looking female could actually go all out and kill over a thousand men from an entire federal battalion.
Qiao Susu took out a nano laser rifle from the system and aimed the infrared light directly at the officer's eyebrows.
She closed one eye and took aim, saying calmly, "Sorry, I'm cheating."
