49. Chapter 49 The First Guest

Chapter 49 The First Guest

Luka got off the flying ship and looked keenly at the distance.

His mental focus was far-reaching, and he had clearly noticed the three strange males appearing near his home. He called the orc on duty to inquire about the situation, and the orc gave him a detailed report.

"Next time this happens, don't wait for me to come back, report it immediately."

"yes."

He walked away with long legs. After entering the door, he saw a petite figure busy in the kitchen. He couldn't help but curl his lips, and his originally cold expression softened.

"Let me do it."

Luka walked over and stood behind her. His tall figure formed a stark contrast to her size. He touched her belly from behind, leaned over and whispered, "I came home late today. Are you starving?"

In fact, he hadn't finished his work at all, but as soon as he saw the time, he rushed back because there were people waiting for him at home. This feeling was unprecedented.

Qiao Susu looked up and met the man's gentle eyes.

"No, I wanted to cook a meal for you to eat, but I couldn't get it right."

Luka chuckled, feeling satisfied just hearing her say that.

The two chatted and laughed over their meal, and Luka moved the packages under Qiao Suisui's command. With a man around, efficiency was different. The two of them quickly decorated the remaining three rooms, and Qiao Suisui only had to talk.

Since each optical computer can only create one Nebula account, Qiao Susu didn't want to use her previous Nebula account that many people followed, because that was almost equivalent to telling these people her address, which might cause trouble for herself, so she asked for Luka's Nebula account.

When I went to the homepage, I saw that this man had never posted anything.

She uploaded photos of each room to the account, set the location, marked the price of each room, and left her contact information. After everything was done, she exited with great anticipation, not knowing when her first tenant would arrive. With a flick of her finger, she saw that Luka, who had 0 followers and 0 posts on the homepage, actually had one following.

She clicked on it out of curiosity and saw a familiar ID: eyes as big as copper bells.

"All done?"

She looked up from her laptop at the man who had just come out of the bathroom after taking a shower. His lower body was only wrapped in a bath towel.

His hair was completely down, no longer neatly combed back like usual. Instead, it was wet, half covering his forehead and even partially obscuring his pale eyes, giving him a unique charm. His muscles were toned, and a drop of water slid from his shoulder to his abdomen, finally disappearing into the bath towel, inviting a certain reverie.

Qiao Susu shyly looked away, not quite remembering what he had just said.

The temperature in the room suddenly rose, but outside the small building it was cold and lonely.

"Sang Yan, stop looking."

A Yao helped Gai Meilun, who had already woken up, walked a distance away, and turned back to call him.

Gai Meilun's face was pale, but his condition was visibly better than in the afternoon. He looked at Sang Yan's back in confusion and asked, "What is he looking at?"

A Yao said, "A brother. The one who took out the medical kit to save you."

Gai Meilun said, "Why don't we go and thank them?"

A Yao thought of the pregnant female during the day, glanced at the sky, and said, "It's not very convenient."

Gai Meilun didn't understand, and thought to himself, what's so inconvenient about this? Then he heard Sang Yan's faint voice coming from the front -

"Ayao, how many spouses do you think she might have?"

Sang Yan stood under the tree and stared at the second-floor room which was lit with warm and soft light.

A Yao scratched the back of his head and said, "A fertile female should have a mate who is one of the best males in the entire Federation. Even if this male is a good fighter, he probably won't be able to possess her alone. Even if her mate is a bit domineering, at least she has ten or more mates."

"Ten." Sang Yan muttered to himself, "What kind of male would she like?"

Gai Meilun looked from Ayao to Sang Yan, her face twisted into a tangle. "No, can anyone tell me what kind of female it is? Can we get down to business first and say goodbye to my savior?"

When Sang Yan heard that he wanted to see Qiao Suisui, he moved his feet, walked over, patted A Yao on the shoulder, and said, "Let's go. I still have a mission."

The three of them gradually disappeared at the border of Osland.

The next few days were quiet. Qiao Suisui waited and waited, but no one showed up. Not even anyone contacted her through the nebula. Even the orcs who usually passed by were driven five kilometers away by Luka's men. Of course, Qiao Suisui didn't know about this.

She waited for another three days and began to doubt her ideas and plans. At this time, the guests came to the door.

"Is it you?"

Qiao Susu looked at the man in front of the door. He had a flamboyant short red hair and looked handsome, but the silver eyebrow studs at the end of his eyebrows broke his youthful look, making him look unruly and wild.

Carl chewed gum with a look of impatience on his face.

"Is this how you treat your savior?"

Qiao Susu pursed her lips and went out to invite him in.

Karl was holding a sports bag in one hand, with the other hand casually in his trouser pocket, looking around.

"Sure, it's a world of difference from the last time I came."

"Are you here to see Luka? He won't be back until later."

Carl jumped up with the help of the sofa back and sat down, his strong arms resting on the back of the sofa, his long legs crossed and clanged on the armrests, looking sloppy and rogue.

"Why am I looking for him? Is this place for rent?"

Qiao Suisui was startled, then nodded and said, "It's just a trial operation right now, so it's only a short-term lease."

Carl raised his chin, nodded in the direction of Room 1, and said, "I want it." He used the light brain to transfer 1,500 star coins directly to Qiao Susu.

"I'm only staying three days."

"I'm fine."

She didn't expect that the first customer would be so easy to serve, and it was done without even her introducing anything. She was a little overwhelmed.

"Then if you need anything, please tell me. I've just prepared it, so it might not be very thoughtful."

Karl raised his eyebrows and said, “I can see that it is indeed simple.”

He pointed to the bed in Room 1 and said, "At least give me a quilt, little boss."

Qiao Susu was a little embarrassed, her face slightly red, and she whispered that she would be ready right away.

When Karl saw her hurriedly going upstairs, his originally improper smirk gradually subsided, and his gaze became somewhat inquiring.

When Qiao Susu went downstairs with the quilt in her arms, Karl was no longer in the living room. She called him a few times, thinking he had gone out. She knocked on the door of Room 1 again, but heard no answer, so she naturally opened the door and wanted to put the quilt in.

But as soon as she opened the door, her feet were nailed to the ground.

Carl was seen with his upper body naked, a towel in his mouth, his brow furrowed, sweat dripping from his forehead. He was removing the bullet from the wound in his lower back.
