Chapter 44 Irritability

"Stop it."

He turned around, walked back in her direction, and glared at her.

"What is your mouth for?" Mo Ruchen yelled in frustration, "Can't you just tell me what's going on?"

Mo Ruchen came from a military family, so naturally he couldn't stand delicate little girls.

For example, Lu Wan.

Like a delicate flower growing in a greenhouse, it can be easily broken.

Yang Yanyan too.

From the first day he met Yang Yanyan, she was like this, as if she had no temper.

No matter whether she was bullied by Yang Qihong or treated coldly by him, she never seemed to get angry, but just had a faint smile with an unchanging arc.

So stupid.

Yang Yanyan lowered her head and said softly, "I'm fine..."

But when Mo Ruchen looked up, he saw that her brows were furrowed, her face was slightly pale, and her body was shaking with pain.

Mo Ruchen was a little annoyed.

"Who taught you to be like this? You won't even say a word when it hurts."

He suddenly bent down, carried Yang Yanyan to the huge rock next to him, and then squatted in front of her.

Mo Ruchen raised his hand and held her ankle, looking at it carefully, and found that it was a little red and swollen.

Yang Yanyan was stunned for a moment before she could react.

After coming to her senses, she quickly reached out to stop him, saying in a shy voice, "General Mo, this, this is not good."

Mo Ruchen raised his eyes to look at her and smiled coldly: "Now you have a mouth and can speak."

He touched Yang Yanyan's ankle.

Fortunately, there are no broken bones.

But he was used to fighting with a bunch of rough guys in the military camp, and he didn't hold back when he hit them. Yang Yanyan groaned in pain immediately.

Just as a light cry escaped from his throat, he quickly swallowed it back, so light that it seemed like an illusion.

Seeing Mo Ruchen looking up at her, she showed the gentle smile that Mo Ruchen was familiar with, like a mask.

"Yang Yanyan," Mo Ruchen frowned, a little unknown anger rising in his heart, and said in an evil voice, "You deserve to die in pain!"

Pain is pain, discomfort is discomfort, and unhappiness is unhappiness.

What are you always forcing yourself to do?

Although he gritted his teeth, the strength of his hands in massaging the blood clots was much lighter.

"General Mo," Yang Yanyan asked softly, "You called me out because you want to tell me something?"

say what?

Mo Ruchen's movements paused subtly.

He actually didn't know why he did that just now.

Perhaps, because of the strange situation just now, he inexplicably did not want to expose her to the sight of Bu Wenge and Qi Meng.

"Well," Mo Ruchen said casually, "It's just delivering medicine, why did Yang Deshan insist on asking you to come?"

"It gets dark so quickly here. How can he trust you, a girl? What if something happens..."

Sure enough, the old man only had Yang Qihong as his daughter in his eyes.

He was just bringing up the topic casually, but he got angrier and angrier as he spoke, and he even thought about giving Yang Deshan a warning.

Yang Yanyan has always been quiet, and she didn't respond after Mo Ruchen stopped talking.

There was silence for a moment.

Maybe it took a long time, or maybe it was just a moment.

Just when Mo Ruchen was about to say that he was going back, the girl suddenly looked up at him and said softly, "I told my father that as his daughter I am willing to serve him, so that I can show my sincerity."

The night breeze was very light, and her voice was also very soft.

Mo Ruchen was stunned, "Why?"

Yang Yanyan smiled and said, "Because... my selfishness."

She didn't say what her selfish motive was, and he didn't ask.

But Mo Ruchen's mood miraculously improved.

Seeing that Mo Ruchen seemed to look better, Yang Yanyan smiled and said, "General Mo, don't worry. My father has sent a few guards to accompany me."

Mo Ruchen sneered: "Is it the guard who was beaten and fled by a few rabble last time? Besides, what do I have to worry about?"

Yang Yanyan stopped talking.

"From now on," Mo Ruchen sighed softly, his tone was so gentle that he himself didn't even notice it, "learn to protect yourself."

Yang Yanyan lowered her eyes.

The moonlight was sparse and faint, shining on the young man's clear eyes and eyebrows, making him look full of vigor and vitality.

This is her favorite little general.

Like a roc that can soar into the sky at any time.

It was like a breeze that she could never catch.

That's it.

After seeing this, it’s time to give up.

Yang Yanyan responded with a smile, thought for a moment, then took out a yellow talisman from her bosom and handed it to Mo Ruchen.

She didn't know how long she had kept the yellow talisman in her heart, and it was still slightly warm.

"General Mo, this is the amulet that I sincerely asked for."

Mo Ruchen stared at Yang Yanyan's hand and suddenly asked, "Just give it to me?"

Yang Yanyan was puzzled.

He turned his eyes away and asked slowly: "Don't Chen Yan and the others have it?"

After hearing this, Yang Yanyan suddenly looked hesitant.

"I didn't think it through."

The slender white fingers were about to retract.

Mo Ruchen immediately picked up the amulet and frowned: "Once something is given away, there is no reason to take it back!"

Yang Yanyan lowered her head somewhat awkwardly.

She felt that no matter what she did, she could not please Mo Ruchen.

In fact, she didn't think much about it. She just wanted to see him smile at her.

Mo Ruchen put the amulet away carefully, and the corners of his lips curled up unconsciously.

When I looked up, I saw Yang Yanyan looking like a listless little quail.

He suddenly felt a little angry again, and his tone became heavy: "What are you afraid of? Am I very fierce to you?"

Yang Yanyan had met only a handful of men since she was a child, and most of the ones she had met were modest gentlemen like Bu Wen Ge.
