Chapter 184: An Xinghe's Collapse

Lou Zhijing noticed her mood change and was startled, "Yuexi, what's wrong with you?" "Tell me." An Yuexi's face was tense and she shouted slightly in collapse.

This shout stunned Lou Zhijing. He paused for a moment and told her the whole story.

An Yuexi lowered her eyes, a little bit unbelievable. Lu Wanying left Hai City?

She felt a mixture of emotions and turned around and slowly left. Her thin figure seemed to be surrounded by a sense of sadness.

Lou Zhijing didn't understand why she had such an expression, and called out worriedly, "Yuexi..."

But the other party ignored him and left.

The school is still talking about An Xinghe, but the person involved knows nothing about it.

He hailed a car as quickly as possible and rushed to her residence. Along the way, he called her several times, but all the numbers were unavailable.

The car was two kilometers away from her house and was stuck in traffic due to the rush hour. He looked at the congested traffic ahead and became extremely anxious.

After looking around, he couldn't wait any longer, so he paid, got off the car, and ran straight to where she lived.

A sharp wind blew around him, blowing his face. His hair flew in disarray and sweat fell like beads falling from a string.

As the distance grew closer, the panic in his heart grew more and more intense, devouring his sanity which was about to collapse.

When he ran to the bottom of her stairs, he was panting heavily from the heat, and beads of sweat the size of beans dripped onto the ground, making it wet.

After taking a look upstairs, he ran up and knocked on the door.

"Wanying, Wanying, Wanying..."

The door opened.

His tense body suddenly relaxed, and a smile finally appeared on his tense face. His words carried a sense of surviving a disaster, "Wanying, why did you change your phone number? I thought..."

Think..........

It's not just an idea, it's true.

He looked at the stranger in front of him and stood there in a daze.

"Who are you? I don't know you." The tenant said a little angrily.

"Where are the people who used to live here? Do you know where they went?" An Xinghe asked anxiously.

"I don't know." The tenant was about to close the door suddenly.

An Xinghe suddenly thought of something, stopped himself, and asked directly, "Can you tell me the landlord's phone number?"

Afterwards, he asked the landlord for Lu Rong's phone number and called him immediately.

"Sorry, the number you dialed is not in service..."

He lowered his phone and called Yuexi.

"Brother, where have you been?" An Yuexi saw that it was his call, so she quickly picked up the phone and asked hurriedly.

"Give me Lan You's number." He said in a loud voice.

"Why do you want Lan You's number? In her current situation, she might not even have it..."

Before An Yuexi could finish her words, she was interrupted by An Xinghe's deep voice, "Send it to me quickly, and send Mo Junyao to me too."

"I don't have Mo Junyao's, I only have Lan You's." An Yuexi explained.

"Give it to me now."

After he got the number, he dialed it directly, but it was not in service again.

He looked dejected and anxious. Where had she gone?

Who else can contact her?

He rubbed his hair in annoyance, and suddenly thought of something. He ran to the hotel where she used to work part-time and asked the manager and the staff there, but he had little contact with them and could not find any information at all.

He then asked Monroe again and said he had not contacted her.

He stood on the street, staring blankly at the cars coming and going. He looked for everyone he knew about her, but could not find any news about her.

He had no choice but to take a taxi to No. 2 Middle School to verify a fact.

Although the No. 2 Middle School was known for its lax management, he was wearing the Qinghe High School uniform, so the guard immediately stopped him and asked, "You're from Qinghe, what are you doing here at No. 2 Middle School?"

"I'm looking for a friend." An Xinghe rushed forward anxiously.

The guard looked at him suspiciously, "It's still school time. Putting aside the fact that you're here to meet friends, how did you get out of school?"

"Uncle, please help me. I have a friend who is missing. I can't contact her. I can't find her anywhere. I don't know if she is in school."

The guard asked in confusion, "Missing?"

"Yes, you can call the head teacher of Class 6, Grade 1, and ask if Lu Wanying is in the classroom. I'm worried something might have happened to her."

The guard looked at him a few more times. He really looked like he was anxiously looking for someone. He could smell the sweat coming from him, and his hair was tangled up in a clump because of the sweat.

If anything really happened, he would be involved.

He quickly went to the small booth, looked up the phone book, called, and asked. The guard breathed a sigh of relief and said, "He dropped out of school."

He hung up the phone, a little angry, "You young man, you actually used the disappearance to scare me, the person you are talking about..."

Only then did he turn around and find that An Xinghe had already walked away.

The figure from behind looks a bit lonely and desolate.

She really dropped out of school.

He even gave up the rented house, so I guess he must have moved to another city.

But he had no idea.

Does she hate him so much?

I didn't even tell him that I dropped out of school or even moved to another city.

No wonder he changed his number.

His eyes were filled with sadness, and his heart felt like it was stabbed by a knife, causing him to have difficulty breathing.

He raised his head at a 45-degree angle, looked at the sky which was slightly darkening at dusk, and sighed.

Have I lost you again?
