Lu Wanying came to the place where she had climbed over the wall last time with ease. She climbed over the wall and climbed onto the top of the tree. She was in a hurry to get down and fell down.
Fortunately, it was not high from the ground. She frowned and got up quickly. The skin on the palm of her hand was rubbed and red.
She didn't care and rushed straight to the playground.
From a distance, I could see that An Xinghe was running as fast as a turtle, and it was obvious that he was almost at the end of his race.
She felt an inexplicable pain in her heart and ran over quickly.
"An Xinghe." She ran to his side, looked at him sweating profusely, with obvious breathing sounds, and shouted in a complicated voice.
"You're here." An Xinghe smiled, and all the fatigue on his body disappeared.
Is he...is he waiting for her to come?
Thinking of this, she suddenly felt mixed emotions.
"How many laps have you run? The teacher is not here watching, so stop running." Lu Wanying couldn't bear to watch it anymore.
"There's one last lap left, wait for me."
Seeing An Xinghe's determination to run, Lu Wanying had no choice but to follow him, saying apologetically, "It's all my fault that I got you into trouble."
If she hadn't replied to his message during class, he wouldn't have been caught and punished by the teacher, but he could have replied after class.
My heart was beating strangely.
"Well, it's your fault." Although An Xinghe said this, there was a smile in his eyes.
It was indeed her fault. Her charm was too great, and he couldn't wait to reply to her message after class.
"You..." She didn't expect him to be so blunt and looked at a loss.
The biggest responsibility doesn't lie with her, right?
"I was just kidding." An Xinghe explained, still afraid that she would blame herself.
Lu Wanying did feel a little relieved.
"Wait for me over there, I'll be there soon." An Xinghe didn't have the energy to speak, so he might as well finish the last bit of running, take a break, and then chat with her.
"I...will run with you." Lu Wanying said hesitantly.
"No need, I'm afraid you won't be able to keep up with me if you wait." An Xinghe said gently.
"Huh?" She couldn't keep up with his speed?
"Be good and listen to me. It won't be good if others see you." An Xinghe said weakly.
These words suddenly woke Lu Wanying up. It was rumored that An Xinghe was in love. Wouldn't her rash coming here confirm it?
She stopped and walked over slowly, but saw that An Xinghe suddenly gathered up his last bit of strength and sped up, as if he was sprinting a 100-meter race.
She really couldn't keep up with this speed.
The two reached the starting point at the same time. An Xinghe was so tired that he lay down on the lawn, gasping for air and sweat pouring down his face.
Lu Wanying handed him the handkerchief, but he didn't take it. He said in a low voice, "I'm so tired that I can't even lift my hands. Can you help me wipe it?"
Looking at her with those clear eyes, she felt too embarrassed to refuse.
She sat next to him, gently wiping the sweat off his face, allowing her to see his face more clearly.
Sharp eyebrows, bright eyes, straight nose, sexy thin lips...
I don’t know who said that men with thin lips are the most loyal.
Her heartbeat accelerated and her breathing became rapid...
She seemed to be increasingly unable to control her emotions in front of him...
Seeing that her hand didn't move, he looked over in confusion, "What's wrong?"
Her eyes dropped in panic, and she withdrew her hand tremblingly, "Do you... do you want some water?"
He reached out to take it, slowly sat up, tilted his head back, and the water flowed into his mouth, rolling in his throat, revealing a hint of sexiness.
She was distracted again...
He was very thirsty and finished the drink quickly, then found that she was looking at him absentmindedly.
A sinister smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, and it seemed that it was meaningful to ask for punishment this time.
At least he knew...she was still worried about him.
"What else did you buy?" He stared into her plastic bag.
Lu Wanying quickly came back to her senses, her face flushed, and she took out the purple rice bread from her pocket and handed it to him.
"You must be hungry, so I just bought one at random." Lu Wanying wanted to eat it too. It was almost her turn for lunch, but she rushed over as soon as she heard the news. Naturally, she was very hungry now.
An Xinghe took it and asked casually, "Do you like it?"
She nodded. She didn't know his preferences, so she bought them according to her own.
An Xinghe took a bite and tasted the purple rice inside. It was so sweet that it made him feel sick. He frowned suddenly and caught a glimpse of her eyes, which showed that her eyes were fixed on the bread.
Hasn't she eaten yet?
"I just ran and don't have much of an appetite. Otherwise...you can eat it." He handed it over.
Lu Wanying hesitated and didn't answer.
“Don’t waste it.”
He took her hand, and her eyelashes trembled like a butterfly's wings, and she was obviously a little nervous.
"How did you get hurt?" He saw a red spot on her hand.
She quickly retracted her hand and said calmly, "It's okay."
"Is it because of the injury you got when you climbed over the wall?" he said with concern.
She nodded.
"Does it still hurt? Do you want me to blow on it?" he said subconsciously.
His gentle words made her feel dazed, as if she had said something similar before.
"No need, I'm not a child. This little injury is nothing." She said indifferently.
But An Xinghe's face looked as if he was reminiscing about something, and he murmured, "Yes, we have all grown up."
But it doesn't mean that you can erase everything that happened. On the contrary, it makes it even harder to forget.
