Shangguan Jingyi's gaze, filled with suspicion, swept back and forth between the two as they engaged in their intimate actions. "You shameless, flirtatious vixen!" she exclaimed, covering her mouth. "Sister, weren't you already betrothed to the Second Prince... how come you're still entangled with this young master?"
Lingqi could tell from the morning that she had ill intentions, and she couldn't help but glare at her coldly: "What do you mean by permission? It's not even close to being settled yet! Miss, don't spout nonsense and ruin my young lady's reputation."
"Third Prince, you're hurting me." Unexpectedly, he reacted so strongly. Tianyun hissed weakly; this acting seemed to have gone too far…
His eyes were dark and bluish, clearly indicating that he hadn't rested well for several days. Although she felt extremely sorry for him, she had no choice but to go through with this ordeal. As long as she could force him to reveal his feelings, everything would become clear!
The Third Prince?
Xiao Ziwu recoiled as if electrocuted, his eyes bloodshot, filled with exhaustion and an unspeakable rage! To avoid suspicion, she actually called him the Third Prince—was she trying to sever ties with him so she could marry Xiao Ziyan in peace?!
His expression suddenly turned cold, and his deep eyes concealed a chilling killing intent. He glanced at Shangguan Jingyi and said in a relatively calm voice, "Could you please excuse us for a moment?"
That glance was like a deadly sword, barely grazing her neck. Shangguan Jingyi was so frightened that her hair stood on end. She dared not cause any more trouble and left with a nod and her hands and feet moving in unison.
He stared at the petite woman before him, who only reached his chest. She was utterly harmless, yet she could kill without drawing blood, stirring up his deepest emotions.
The restrained love seemed about to burst forth from his dark eyes.
"Please don't marry him, okay?" His parched throat struggled to move, and after a long while, he finally managed to squeeze out these words.
"Why?" he was about to ask. She bit her delicate lips, her gaze fixed on him, her heart pounding like a deer, almost leaping out of her throat.
His hands were drawn to those bright and dazzling eyes.
He gently stroked her lips, freeing her fragile, pitiful lips from her teeth, which had been bitten until they turned white. Then, without any instruction, he pressed the back of her head against his own and, with a surge of anger, forcefully pried open her teeth.
His crimson eyes held a deep longing and resolve, as if he wanted nothing more than to devour this persistent little woman whole!
She was held tightly in his arms, her head spinning. She couldn't think straight. How did things suddenly get to this point, like a wild horse that had broken free of its reins?
He sighed silently with satisfaction, and with endless tenderness, he gently kissed her little face.
"because I love you."
Perhaps before, perhaps even earlier, perhaps it was the first time I saw her...
It turns out that facing your own emotions won't turn the world upside down.
