Chapter 44: Each Test
Meng Ruoxi looked at the fire burning in the man's eyes, her brows couldn't help but frown, she pushed him away and started to complain.
"I haven't finished yet, what are you yelling about?"
Shi Yanjin sneered, not wanting to get used to her this time, "You know what you are thinking, but you are not allowed to abort my child, not even think about it!"
As he said this, he lowered his head, opened his mouth and took a big bite.
Meng Ruoxi's body trembled violently, she cried out in pain, and punched his shoulder hard to push him away, "Get out! You are a dog!"
Shi Yanjin didn't move at all, licking the blood from the corner of his mouth. He held her down steadily, threatening her with gritted teeth, "If you dare to abort the child, I will eat you alive and go to hell with you!"
His eyes were crazy and his mind was completely irrational. All he could think about was her wanting to abort the child. He was so heartbroken that he couldn't bear it any more.
Does she dislike herself? Does she dislike children?
But they are all his treasures, the treasures he cherishes in his life.
Meng Ruoxi listened and felt a chill in her heart.
What a madman!
He reacted so strongly just by mentioning it. If I really abort the child on my own initiative, I will be killed.
He is sick and crazy, and no one can cure him.
Feeling the burning pain in her chest, she did not argue but opened her mouth and said, "It hurts."
The mad man's eyes regained some clarity because of these two words. He licked her wound with the tip of his tongue, saying "I'm sorry" in his mouth. His movements were cautious and gentle.
Meng Ruoxi stared at the beams on the roof with empty eyes, a bitter smile on her lips.
The man had lost his temper with her several times, all because of the child.
It seems that he believes that not wanting a child means not wanting him, and not liking a child means not liking her, and he often forces her to hold the child and love the child.
I got along well with the child today. You can see that he was very happy and he was smiling all the time.
He truly loves himself and he truly loves his children.
My heart was dazed for a moment.
Is it really right for me to do this?
Putting aside the fact that he made the money from some private activities, in a sense, he is a rare good man who cares about his family and loves his family.
It has been almost two years since we got married. He is the one who does the laundry, cooking, cleaning, earning money, supporting the family and taking care of the children. He has never complained or been impatient, and has been willing to do everything from beginning to end.
She selfishly enjoys his efforts, and relies on his love to feel fearless, allowing him to hit her without fighting back or scold her, while she laughs at and looks down on him in her heart.
She is a completely bad woman and not worthy of his love.
Tears burst out of my eye sockets and flowed down the corners of my eyes to soak the pillow. I cried silently.
She has been like this since she was a child and cannot change.
If you love her, you must love all of her.
She is selfish, a habitual liar, aloof and pretentious, arrogant and vain, and gorgeous and beautiful. None of these can be missing from her.
Realizing something was wrong, Shi Yanjin raised his eyes to look at her, and saw tears falling from the corners of her eyes like beads.
For the first time, she cried heartbrokenly.
Feeling her sadness, Shi Yanjin was even sadder than her. He reached out to wipe away her tears, lowered his eyes and begged, "Can you...can you love me..."
I didn't dare look into her eyes, for fear of seeing "delusion" in them.
Meng Ruoxi was silent, unable to give an answer.
After a long while she said, "I have deceived you a lot."
So many that every word is a lie, and every word has a purpose.
Shi Yanjin hummed, "I know."
He turned her over with force at the waist, letting her lean on him, and stroked her long, soft hair that reached her waist. His eyes seemed to be lost in some memories, and he looked disappointed. "I knew from the beginning that you were lying to me."
Where he couldn't see, Meng Ruoxi's eyebrows moved, and she suddenly lowered her eyes to hide the coldness in her eyes. She spoke in a gentle voice, "You knew I was lying to you, why didn't you expose it?"
Shi Yanjin smiled, his eyes flashing with brilliant stars, "I'm waiting for the day when you take the initiative to confess."
Feeling a little discouraged, Meng Ruoxi knew why he was acting abnormally that morning.
If he investigated himself during this trip, he would definitely find out something, and the only thing he had hidden was the existence of his parents, so he would know.
So he mustered up his courage, looked up, and blurted out, "Actually, my parents are not dead..."
As expected, the man looked at her with surprise and hugged her tightly, "Xixi, you finally confessed to me."
After a moment of hesitation, Meng Ruoxi nodded gently, "Well, I don't want to hide it from you anymore. The more I hide it, the more uneasy I feel. The identity of the stinky old nine is suffocating me. Unless it is necessary, I really don't want to tell you."
Shi Yanjin just nodded randomly and asked earnestly, "Xixi, do you accept me?"
Meng Ruoxi frowned, her eyes full of confusion, "Didn't I always accept you?"
Shi Yanjin shook his head decisively, looking into her eyes very seriously, "You know that's not what I'm talking about. It's that you've decided from the bottom of your heart to be with me for the rest of your life!"
Looking at him like an idiot, Meng Ruoxi nodded as a matter of course, "Of course, if not with you, who else can I go with? We'll have two children." She looked at him suspiciously, "Why do you ask that? Do you want to abandon your wife and children?"
Shi Yanjin's eyebrows were raised by her words, with deep surprise in his eyes, "What a mess, you have to stay with me even if I die, and you abandon your wife and children, you can think of such a shame."
Meng Ruoxi curled her lips, "Who knows." She covered her lips with her hands, yawned, and closed her eyes, "Okay, I'm sleepy, don't disturb me."
Gazing at her sleeping face, Shi Yanjin lowered his eyes in thought, feeling confused.
His attitude changed so quickly. Did he realize something? Was he deliberately saying it to himself? Or did he really want to live a good life with himself?
With a fierce look in his eyes, Meng Ruoxi, you'd better be telling the truth, otherwise I won't let you go!
He turned over and fell into a deep sleep holding her.
The two people sleeping in the same bed each had their own thoughts and plans in mind.
The next morning, Shi Yanjin told Li Taohua the news that Meng Ruoxi was pregnant.
Little Wen Jing, who didn't know what was going on, saw his grandmother suddenly jump up from her chair, dancing with joy like crazy. He moved to his father's side with a little fear, pointed in the direction of his grandmother and said, "Crazy, crazy."
Shi Yanjin smiled, picked up the child and said softly, "Grandma is not crazy, I'm happy. You are going to have a brother or sister. Are you happy?"
Little Wen Jing bit her lip in thought, and blurted out after a while, "No."
He didn't know why he didn't want it, so he said it subconsciously.
Shi Yanjin was shocked, "Why?"
Little Wen Jing couldn't answer. He shook his head vigorously and said no, holding his arm tightly and looking like he was about to cry.
Shi Yanjin was shocked, and then distressed. His body's subconscious reaction was to hug him and coax him, "Okay, okay, no, no, we'll be good and don't do it."
But I was puzzled. Don’t most children want younger brothers and sisters? Why doesn’t my son want one?
No matter how hard he tried, he could not imagine that two one-year-old children were fighting for favor.
