Chapter 63 Zuo Hanshi

The eldest daughter of the Zuo family showed me no respect whatsoever; she slapped Ermin across the face right off the bat.

Then, with an aggressive air, they led their men to force their way in. Brother Ermin, however, was sensible enough to understand the bigger picture.

He didn't say anything after being hit, and still smiled apologetically as he led people inside. Old Ma, who was behind them, saw this.

He frowned, glanced at the Zuo family head beside him, and said nothing.

I sat in the hospital room, watching Miss Zuo barge in, and was just about to get up...

They completely ignored me and went straight to check on Zuo Hanshuang's injuries. Feeling awkward, I didn't go over.

But when I turned around, I saw the handprint on Ermin's face. However, I didn't react immediately. Instead, I went out to see Master Ma and the head of the Zuo family.

He went up to them from afar to greet them, saying, "Old Ma, it's been a long time! I've missed you dearly. And this gentleman beside you must be the head of the Zuo family."

After speaking, he clasped his hands in a fist salute first. The Zuo family head looked behind me, at Wen Bing and Jiao Yang Dao, who had followed closely behind.

Not daring to put on airs, they smiled and returned the greeting to Old Ma.

After exchanging insincere pleasantries for a while, the head of the Zuo family already knew that his youngest daughter had woken up when he arrived.

So we weren't in a hurry, and just as we were about to continue our conversation, we heard a commotion in the ward.

None of the three of us were in a hurry; we politely deferred to each other as we walked towards the ward.

As soon as I entered, I saw Horse Face and one of Miss Zuo's bodyguards fighting inside the room.

Old Ma frowned, gave a harsh snort, and separated the two in one swift motion.

I immediately flattered him, saying, "Master Ma, your skills have improved considerably these past few days!"

Flattery will get you everywhere, and even Old Ma stroked his beard and smiled when he heard it.

I wasn't angry, so I turned around and asked the horse-faced man, "What happened? Why did they start fighting?"

Horse Face replied angrily, "After listening to her sister, Miss Zuo came over and slapped Sister Wang across the face."

I went up to argue with her, and her bodyguard attacked, so we started fighting.

I glanced at the new handprint on Sister Wang's face, then calmly turned back.

He said to the head of the Zuo family, "Head of the Zuo family, no matter what, things should not be done more than three times. If this continues, people will die."

No sooner had I finished speaking than Brother Wen made his move. Without even drawing his knife, he delivered a single palm strike that pierced right through the bodyguard who had attacked him.

Just as the three protectors of the Zuo family were about to make a move, they were stopped by Elder Ma.

But he said with a smile, "Oh, no rush, let's take another look."

Because of that delay, the bodyguard was gone.

Wen casually wiped the blood off his hands and stood behind me again, without saying a word the whole time.

Miss Zuo was stunned for a moment, not expecting me to suddenly start killing her.

When she came to her senses, she was about to get angry when she met my calm and composed gaze, and she swallowed back what she was about to say.

I stared at Miss Zuo for a while, then suddenly smiled and turned to the head of the Zuo family, saying, "I'm sorry, Head of the Zuo family, my subordinates are ignorant."

But then again, some things can happen once or twice, but not a third or fourth time, wouldn't you agree?

The head of the Zuo family glanced back at Elder Ma, but at that moment, the old man pretended to be chatting casually with the three members of the Zuo family.

Seeing this situation, the head of the Zuo family realized that his family had offended even the Ma family this time.

Both of his daughters acted foolishly, offending people for no reason, and even when the Ma family intervened to mediate, they continued to act arrogantly and violently.

If they could suppress it, that would be fine, but it seems they really don't take the Zuo family seriously.

The head of the Zuo family squinted and looked for a long time before suddenly bursting into laughter and saying, "It's alright, my dear nephew. We became friends after our initial encounter."

The Zuo family will take care of these minor matters. Let's go find a place to talk about the appearance of the evil god. That's the most important thing.
