She knew Duncan was sensitive and suspicious, and that he had to tell the truth as well as lie, so she didn't hide her itinerary from the previous night.

Duncan stubbed out the cigar between his fingers, the smoke dissipating to reveal his subtle mockery.
"Dear Britney, when did you become so close to Cecilia and her darlings!"
Britney's eyes widened slightly, a hint of fear flashing in them, before she giggled.
"Duncan, you'll never understand the friendship between us women."
She slowly walked towards him, nestled in his arms, tilted her head back, and gently touched the corner of his lips with her hand.
"A woman can be a friend today and an enemy tomorrow; the key is whether she is useful to me!"
"Yeah?"
Duncan reached out and grabbed her waist, pulling her close to him. He then gripped her neck with his palms and pressed her down until their lips met.
"Britney, you better not try anything behind my back, or else~"
He hummed softly.
"Baby, you know what I'm capable of!"
He gripped her neck tightly with his hand, Britney's face flushed red, and she nodded vigorously.
Duncan smiled, loosened his grip slightly, and lowered his head to bite her lips.
"Hiss~"
Britney's lips instantly bled.
"good!"
Duncan chuckled softly, his eyes filled with excitement.
"But you guessed right, I am indeed very interested in Sheffield!"
He reached out and pulled open Britney's shirt...
