Chapter 275 The Seventh Court 1

What do you mean I lied?

Su Chun was eager to defend herself.

"Jiakai, I had no idea he was a fraud. I'm a victim too!"

"Don't talk to me, I find you disgusting!"

Huo Jiakai's personality has always been extreme. When he dislikes someone, he wants to eat their flesh and drink their blood. He doesn't want to see her even once!

He stepped aside to make way.

"Qin Lu, let's go inside first, so that no one with bad taste in their eyes can bother you!"

This was the first time Qin Suisui had seen Mr. Huo act so domineeringly and disdainfully in front of Su Chun.

It seems he was really hurt.

She smiled slightly, bowed slightly, and walked towards the courthouse first.

"Jiakai!"

Su Chun pleaded, she had imagined it countless times, but she never expected Huo Jiakai to be so heartless towards her.

"Jiakai, I really didn't mean to!"

"Su Chun, say no more, we'll see you in court!"

Huo Jiakai ignored her and followed Qin Suisui inside.

Su Chun stood there, watching Huo Jiakai walk further and further away with a sense of unease, feeling a void in her heart.

She finally realized that Huo Jiakai now truly hated her to the core and had no lingering feelings for her whatsoever.

She felt weak and powerless, as if all her strength had been drained from her body.

Outside the Seventh Court, Yue Hongxi and Chang Jinhui stood in the corridor, discussing quietly.

Seeing Qin Lu walking towards them from afar, the two went to greet him.

"Qin Lu, Prosecutor Mu is already inside!"

Yue Hongxi stepped aside to let Qin Suisui walk in front.

"Um!"

Qin Suisui nodded slightly and looked at Chang Jinhui.

"Have you brought all the materials?"

Chang Jinhui followed closely and handed over the folder of documents in his hand.

"Attorney Qin, all the documents are here. Assistant Yue and I checked them again at the company this morning."

"good!"

Qin Suisui took the file and walked into the seventh courtroom.

As soon as she walked in, she saw Mukfi and another unfamiliar middle-aged man sitting in the first row, whispering to each other.

Hearing the sound at the gate, Mu Kefei looked up and saw Qin Suisui. He quickly put on a smile.

"Qin Law!"

He stood up and spoke to the middle-aged man sitting beside him.

"Dean Wang, this is Qin Suisui, the head of the Luodun Law Firm whom I often tell you about, Attorney Qin!"

"Oh! Qin Lu, I've finally met him in person!"

Dean Wang got up from his seat and walked out to shake hands with Qin Suisui.

"Recently, Attorney Qin has become incredibly famous throughout our public security, procuratorate, and judicial system!"

"Professor Wang, you flatter me!"

Qin Suisui reached out and shook hands with him. The man in front of her was the head of the Huating Procuratorate. She had seen his photo on the procuratorate's publicly available website.

"You actually came to the court hearing in person today!"

"I have no choice but to come. The case is getting more and more complicated. I won't feel at ease if I don't come in person!"

Dean Wang smiled wearily, and the heavy bags under his eyes showed that he hadn't been getting enough rest lately.

"Lawyer Qin, we owe this investigation and evidence collection a great deal to you!"

"Dean Wang, you flatter me. It's my duty!"

Qin Suisui smiled faintly. She rarely dealt with leaders in the public security, procuratorate, and judicial system, and she was momentarily at a loss as to how to proceed with this way of speaking.

Just as she was thinking of what to say, two bailiffs walked in.

Qin Suisui took a deep breath and smiled at Dean Wang.

"Dean Wang, I'll go over first. We can talk after the court hearing!"

She led Chang Jinhui and Yue Hongxin to the plaintiff's seat.

"Lawyer Qin, will Pang Yi appear in court today?"

As soon as I sat down, Yue Hongxin leaned closer and asked in a low voice.

"Appear in court!"

Qin Suisui looked up at the courtroom door.

Footsteps approached from afar in the corridor, the soft sounds barely audible, but it was clear that there were quite a few people.

It should be the judges and clerks from the Seventh Court who have arrived.

"Dean Wang, what brings you to the court hearing today?!"

The female judge who led the way in looked very surprised when she saw President Wang.

She smiled and tried to come over and say hello.

"Judge Lou, I'm here on behalf of the procuratorate to observe the hearing. Please follow your procedures and don't worry about me!"

Dean Wang stood up and waved to her, stopping Judge Lou from walking over.

"Well then, Dean Wang, I'll proceed with the court hearing first. If you have any questions during the process, please feel free to offer your suggestions!"

"Okay~ okay!"

Dean Wang chuckled and sat back down.

"Professor Wang, what's your impression of Lawyer Qin?"

Mukfi whispered in his ear.

"Hmm~"

Wang Yuan pondered for a while.

"It's hard to say. She's not as sharp and assertive as she appears in the video. It's too early to judge her before the trial!"

Mukfi laughed.

"Prosecutor Wang, you'd better enjoy witnessing how our Attorney Qin displays his sharp edge in the courtroom today!"

Dean Wang chuckled softly.

"You can't believe how busy I am, but I still managed to squeeze in time to come to the scene!"

His gaze swept over the audience members who had come to listen in, his tone heavy.

Do you think anyone from Macau might come to listen in on the proceedings?

"Maybe, but one thing is for sure, the other side will know everything that happened in court today!"

As the audience began to enter, Mukherjee's eyes scanned and observed them constantly, like a radar.

He tried to identify potential suspects, but unfortunately, he did not find any suspicious persons until the judge announced the start of the court session.
