Chapter 3 Turmoil

Yang Lu and Mu Jin woke up late this morning and hadn't even had time to turn on their phones. They had just gotten breakfast at the second canteen and sat down when Luo Wei from the next dorm reminded them to check their WeChat Moments. That's when they found out that Sui Sui had been cheated on by that bastard Yu Chengjue.

"Sui Sui, tell us how you plan to get revenge on those two scumbags. Tell us and we'll do it."

Filled with anger, Mu Jinjin threw the lunchbox onto the table with a "bang".

She rolled up her sleeves and slammed her hand on the table.

A warm feeling welled up in Qin Suisui's heart, and she got up and leaned against the wall.

"Jinjin, Xiaolu, Yueyue, thank you. I'm really fine. They don't deserve my entanglement with them."

"That's right! Our Sui Sui is as beautiful as a flower, and good men are lining up behind her!"

Yang Lu tiptoed and leaned over the handrail to look at Qin Suisui.

"Sui Sui, haven't you seen our school's intranet yet? Those two scumbags are being cursed out by our law school students."

Seeing Yang Lu's relieved expression, Qin Suisui smiled faintly.

"I got home too late last night and my phone wasn't on yet."

Aside from looking a little tired, Sui Sui didn't seem too sad, which relieved Yang Lu.

"Sui Sui, are you hungry? Jin Jin and I brought you some shumai and steamed dumplings from the second canteen. Get up and eat some."

Mu Jinjin reminded her, "There's also soy milk."

"Yes, and soy milk too."

Su Yue: "I want one too!"

She opened her eyes in the morning and saw messages from the scumbag and the bitch on her phone, so angry that she forgot to eat breakfast.

Mu Jinjin rolled her eyes at her: "You don't get any!"

"What? Jinjin, how could you be so cruel?"

As Qin Suisui listened to her roommates' playful chatter, her dim eyes gradually regained their composure.

Just one day later, Aurora University pinned a gossip post to the top of its campus network.

The title is so straightforward it's eye-catching: On the choice between a talented woman and a wealthy woman.

The article uses sharp language to provide a comprehensive analysis of why a talented finance graduate student cheated on his girlfriend with a female student from his own department, and why a beautiful and talented law school goddess couldn't compete with a finance major. The article elaborates on the two students' appearance, intelligence, family background, and resources, and its words are sharp and incisive.

"Hiss~"

Su Yue laughed dismissively: "So the mistress is from the An family!"

"Su Yue, do you know her?"

Mu Jinjin looked curiously at Su Yue, who was sitting at the table scrolling through her phone.

"I don't know him, but I've heard of him."

Su Yue put down her phone, her face serious.

"Anru is the daughter of the An family in Huating. You've heard of Anfeng, right?"

“An Feng is one of the top investment figures in the Huating financial circle. The higher-ups sometimes listen to his opinions on economic development planning. He is An Ru’s grandfather.”

Upon hearing this, Mu Jinjin's eyes dimmed, and she glanced subtly at the upper bunk. With such a background, how could Sui Sui possibly develop in Huating in the future?

It turned out she was An Feng's granddaughter. Qin Suisui frowned. An Feng was a powerful figure in the Huating financial circle, and even had influence in the entire Chinese financial circle. He was often seen at the Davos Forum every year, which showed the An family's status in the financial circle.

Thinking back to the harsh words Anru uttered that night, the other party certainly had the capability.

However, Qin Suisui was not the type to be easily manipulated.

She clicked on the post and carefully analyzed the available information.

Within hours, the comments section had been flooded with messages, mostly criticizing reality and expressing disdain for the actions of so-and-so and An.

Of course, there were also alt accounts stirring up trouble in the comments, subtly mocking the so-called law school goddess, saying that once she left school, she was a nobody and had no qualifications to compare with a rich and beautiful girl like Anru.

However, such remarks immediately aroused public outrage and led to the post being deleted.

The post was pinned for several days, but none of the three people involved in the gossip made a statement.

Yu Chengjue has found a job and moved out of the dormitory a week later to a place not far from the new company.

Anru is a first-year graduate student. She is happy to see this kind of rumor and can't wait for everyone who knows her to know that Senior Brother Yu is now hers.

She comes from a wealthy family. Her grandfather is a leading figure in the entire Chinese financial sector, her parents hold important positions in the financial sector in Huating, and her uncles and brothers either run their own companies or hold senior management positions in major investment companies.

At school, she had her own little circle of friends who shared similar values. They didn't care at all about competing for the man they liked; on the contrary, they were proud of it!

Anru sat in the coffee shop, scrolling through the pinned post on the school's intranet. Surprisingly, there were even junior students from their finance department in the comments. She curled her lip in disapproval.

"A bunch of poor losers! Once these huskies leave the school gates, who will recognize them!"

"That's right, Anru, you still managed to win over Senior Yu!"

Her roommate, Zhang Jia, winked at her and smiled knowingly.

She and Anru have been friends since high school. She didn't do well on the college entrance exam and was admitted to another finance and economics university in Huating.

Thanks to Anru's connections, she was admitted to the Finance Department of Aurora University when she took the postgraduate entrance examination. Now she and Anru are both first-year postgraduate students in the Finance Department.

After truly getting involved in finance, Zhang Jia realized the importance of relationships and connections for working in the field.

She was already on good terms with Anru, and now she follows Anru's lead.

"snort!"

Anru held up her fingers, looking at her freshly done manicure in the light. Her slender fingers, adorned with vibrant colors, looked as tender and delicate as new bamboo shoots after a rain.

"My senior brother is still so indifferent to me, and I have to coax him carefully."

She lowered her fingers, her tone reproachful: "Xiao Jia, when do you think Senior Brother will truly belong to me?"
