Chapter 34 Police Station

No one, including Anru, expected Qin Suisui to do something like this, and they watched helplessly as the four of them were taken to the police car.

Qin Suisui glanced back at An Ru, her dark eyes gleaming with a captivating light. An Ru nearly collapsed under that gaze.

Her eyes were filled with resentment as she gritted her teeth and looked at Zhang Jie.

“Zhang Jie, call my mother now and tell her that I was taken to the Foxit Police Station by that Sheffield from the Law Offices of R.R. Dunn.”

After saying that, she ignored Zhang Jie, who was staring blankly with her mouth agape, and turned to walk outside.

"What do you mean?"

Zhang Jie looked blankly at Xiao Lin standing beside her.

"It means you should mislead her mother into thinking that she was also arrested."

Xiao Lin explained that he didn't quite understand An Ru's thinking. In order to unite her parents in their hatred of the enemy, she was willing to disregard her own reputation just out of spite.

He shook his head, picked up his coat which was placed to the side, and got up to walk outside.

Seeing Xiao Lin leave, Zhang Jie quickly chased after him, asking as she walked, "Brother Lin, where are you going? Aren't you coming with us to see Xiao Ru and Wang Cheng?"

Xiao Lin paused, his mind suddenly flashing back to the girl's radiant face as she spoke. That face was both pretty and alluring, making one want to explore it further.

A smile flickered in his eyes as he looked down at Zhang Jie: "Okay, let's go take a look together."

Qin Suisui and Su Yue didn't drive when they arrived, so they had to get into the police car with Wang Cheng and the others. She ignored the hostile stares from the other side and calmly gazed at the night view outside the window.

"Sui Sui, you're so efficient!"

Su Yue leaned close to her ear and whispered her praise. Although their upbringing taught them to call the police if something happened, when it came down to it, they would usually try to resolve things peacefully.

Considering that I am also a law student, although I haven't become a litigation lawyer yet, I have been exposed to the subject for many years, so why am I not so decisive?

The people opposite them were still glaring at them angrily with red eyes, muttering curses under their breath. She glared back at them and whispered in their ear, "Sui Sui, did you really record this?"

"certainly."

Qin Suisui smiled and glanced at her sideways.

From the moment she saw Anru, her vigilance was heightened. She knew that the other party was a ruthless and unscrupulous person, so how could she be completely unprepared?

"I'm a lawyer, so of course I'm cautious. I never lie about what I say."

"marvelous!"

Su Yue clenched her fists excitedly and peeked out the window. An Ru's flashy red supercar was right behind the police car, one parking space behind.

"laugh!"

During the years that Sui Sui went to M Country, she would occasionally see her cousin at banquets because of him. When she was behind Yu Chengjue's back, An Ru never hid her arrogance.

To avoid causing trouble for her aunt's family, she tried to avoid being in the same room with her, fearing she might lose control and mock her.

I never expected Anru to end up like this. Sui Sui is making an example of her.

The bar street falls under the jurisdiction of the Fuxin Police Station, which is only a ten-minute drive away.

It was almost midnight when two cars drove into the station one after the other. The police officers on duty saw this group of people in the yard and came out of the building.

"Old Chang, what's going on?"

Xie Rong glanced at the group of people who came out of the car. They were all dressed smartly and there was no sign of fighting on them. He raised his eyebrows in confusion.

Chang Wei instructed the auxiliary police to take the four people involved in the case inside. He gestured with his lips to Qin Suisui and the other person who followed him in, then looked at Xie Fei with a knowing look and whispered something.

"See that? Those young men over there were harassing a girl, and she was filming the whole thing."

Xie Rong chuckled: "Heh!"

Chang Wei's next words instantly dispelled his drowsiness.

"The pretty young woman at the very back is the head of the Law Offices of R.T., and she is now going to sue three of them."

"What?"

Xie Rong almost burst out laughing.

"Is that so? Haven't we just kicked a hornet's nest?"

"No, is the head of the Law Offices of Rhodes really that young?"

Xie Rong followed them inside, his eyes involuntarily searching for the two girls who had just gone in.

Their Fuxin Police Station is closest to Huating's most famous bar street, and they frequently respond to calls at night, mostly for fights and brawls, or drunken disturbances. This is the first time they've harassed a law firm's head.

He adopted a spectator's attitude, crossed his arms, sat back down, and observed the group.

Even after being taken to the police station, Wang Cheng remained arrogant. He had confidence in An Ru and was fearless until he saw her show her identification and heard her introduce herself as the head of the Law Offices of Luo Dun. Only then did his expression begin to show fear.

The Law Offices of Rhodes is the number one foreign law firm in Huating. If it were a domestic law firm, there might still be a possibility of mediation given Anru's relationship with them. The Law Offices of Rhodes? He dared not think further, especially after hearing that they would not accept private mediation.

"Brother, this woman is lying, right? The head of the Law Offices is clearly an old man."

Cheng Yun'en, sitting to his right, tried to remain calm.

Wang Cheng slowly shook his head, his face pale and weak: "They've changed people."

He was incredibly anxious. Just last month, his father had come home for dinner and scolded him, saying that the new head of the Law Offices, R.R., was two years younger than him.

He subconsciously compared the two, which gave him a strange sense of overlap.

He shouted in a panic, "Hey, we were just joking around, is it necessary to be so petty?"

Qin Suisui glanced at the other party coldly, ignored him, and continued to speak to the police officer: "As the victim, I request that the police officers file criminal cases against the three individuals in accordance with the law, and also file civil lawsuits against them for compensation."
