Chapter 69 Suspect

The next morning, Jinjin and Xiaolu flew back to Taipei. Jinjin was in a hurry to go back and deal with several cases she had entrusted to her, preparing to completely sever ties with that colleague surnamed Jiang. Xiaolu, on the other hand, looked lovesick and was eager to go back to see her lover.

When she arrived, Qin Suisui didn't pick her up at the airport, but she made a point of taking time to drive her back.

As Jinjin and Xiaolu prepared to board the plane, watching their departing figures, she felt a pang of sadness at their parting, and her eyes welled up with tears.

"Alas, farewells are the saddest. I used to see you all off one by one, but now I finally have company."

Su Yue leaned on Sui Sui's shoulder with a grin.

"I'm driving!"

Qin Suisui glanced at her sideways.

"Hmph!"

Su Yue deliberately made a pig grunting sound, which made Qin Suisui unable to help but laugh.

As the two were chatting about their thoughts on the past two days, a pleasant cell phone ringtone sounded in the car.

"be mine."

Qin Suisui turned on Bluetooth: "Yes, it's me!"

Upon hearing the message from the other end of the phone, she raised an eyebrow: "You mean Director Sun called to say that the Jiangcheng police have caught the thief who stole the data?"

"Okay, I got it. I'll be there in a bit."

After hanging up the phone, Qin Suisui looked at Su Yue with an apologetic look in her eyes.

"Yueyue~"

"Fine, I knew you were going to stand me up again."

Su Yue leaned back irritably, feeling a little disappointed.

"Fine, I'll go have a lavish meal myself. Qin Suisui, you've missed a chance to enjoy a free feast!"

Qin Suisui smiled apologetically: "It's okay, I'll treat Miss Yueyue to a free meal next time!"

In the workplace, you'll face all sorts of unexpected events.

She immediately reported the theft to the police after Wen Zong’s office information was stolen.

More than half a month has passed since the case was filed, and finally the information of the thief was obtained. Wen Zong went to another place to collect evidence, and everyone else was doing their own job. Only she had time to go to the police station to confirm the information.

Qin Suisui, unusually coquettish, pleaded, "Please, Miss Yueyue!"

"Ugh, this is so boring."

Su Yue suddenly felt disheartened: "Where have my ambitions gone? Now it seems that of the four of us in the dorm, I'm the one with the least future."

It seems that of the four girls in her dorm, she's the only one who's doing nothing and living like a lazy bum.

"Sui Sui, do you think I'm not suited to be a lawyer?"

"How is that possible?"

Qin Suisui glanced at her sideways: "You were the best debater in the whole college back then."

That's because you didn't show up.

Reminded by Qin Suisui, Su Yue suddenly remembered that she had once been a prominent figure in the law school.

"I've realized that my ambitions and future are going to be ruined by De Cheng Law Firm, especially by that bastard Wang Jiang."

The mere mention of Wang Jiang fills her with rage.

"Why don't you switch jobs and join our law firm?"

Qin Suisui suggested that she knew Yueyue was unhappy at Decheng and had been stopped by her family several times when she wanted to change jobs.

The boss of Decheng and Yueyue's cousin are brothers-in-law. According to Yueyue's parents, at least people in Decheng won't be bullied.

But Yueyue is proud and arrogant, and disdains to be high-profile and flamboyant in the law firm. Her low-key approach has resulted in her current situation.

The lawyer who mentored her didn't teach her properly, nor did he let her access core information. In the end, Hou Guo was reduced to a lowly maid doing odd jobs.

"Loton Law Firm is a foreign-owned law firm, and it has its own assessment mechanisms and standards for new lawyers, so I won't cause you any trouble."

Su Yue spent the last two days with Jin Jin and Xiao Lu, and Jin Jin kept talking to her about the awkwardness of being in the workplace.

Jin Jin's biggest feeling is that she has no connections and is in a difficult situation at the law firm.

And what about herself? Su Yue couldn't help but examine herself. It seemed that she had been slacking off all these past two years. She had never thought of resisting the suppression from others. Whether it was disdain or laziness, she herself did not want to think about it deeply.

Her friends are all working hard, but she is still in a daze.

"Sui Sui, I've made up my mind. After New Year's Day, I'm going to be high-profile in my life and in my work!"

"Great, I've finally figured it out."

Qin Suisui glanced at her sideways and saw that Yueyue's expression was more serious than ever before.

She smiled brightly: "Then I'll be watching closely to see how you make a name for yourself in Decheng!"

Resources are also a reflection of personal strength, and I hope Yueyue can truly understand this.

The two chatted casually along the way and soon arrived in the city.

Qin Suisui dropped Su Yue off at her residence, and after she got out of the car, she drove directly to the police station near the Law Offices of Luo Dun.

The last time I called the police, the officers who responded were the same ones who handled the Anru incident.

She had only been in the police station for a short while when Chief Sun, who had received her last time, came out of his office after hearing the news.

"Qin Lu! You arrived very quickly!"

"Director Sun, I'm sorry to trouble you again!"

This was the second time Director Sun had met the head of the foreign law firm, and the impression he had during the day was even more impactful than the one he had seen that night.

Her features were exquisite, her beauty natural, and her eyes and brows exuded a touch of sternness, yet her demeanor was gentle and graceful.

Contradictory yet dazzling!

Thinking of the assertiveness that Lawyer Qin had displayed in Huating over the past six months, Director Sun knew that he could not be deceived by the other party's outward gentleness, so he became extremely vigilant.

"Attorney Qin, let me take you to the conference room first to see the law enforcement records sent by the Jiangcheng police and to identify the criminal suspect."

"Thank you so much!"

Qin Suisui followed Director Sun into the small conference room.

"Law Qin, please wait a moment, I have already arranged for someone to come over."

After Director Sun sat down, he suddenly remembered: "Lawyer Qin, would you like some tea?"
