Chapter 78 Because I Like You, Okay
The bumper car shook violently, and due to inertia, Yu Chucheng's head tilted to the side and almost hit the wall next to him.
The staff found that someone had unfastened his seat belt and quickly pulled the brakes to stop the car.
"What's going on?"
"Is it over so soon?"
“I haven’t had enough fun yet.”
Other tourists in the venue stared at the staff who rushed in in confusion.
Duan Huaijin couldn't remember the last time his heart beat so fast. He remained stiff in this position for a long time. When the staff ran over from the other end of the venue, the scene in front of him returned to the amusement park from the second before the car accident in his previous life.
"Feel sorry."
Duan Huaijin withdrew his hand that was supporting Yu Chucheng's seat, and his face turned pale, which was unusual for him.
When the bumper car hit him just now, his vision became confused and he seemed to have returned to that night.
He didn't know he had PTSD.
Yu Chucheng's head, which was already a little dizzy after riding the roller coaster, felt even more dizzy, and his face didn't look good either.
After a long tinnitus in his ears ended, he weakly half opened one eye, only to find that it was pitch black all around him and many voices were heard coming and going.
He was in pain all over, he didn't know how many bones were broken, and he felt like he was dying.
Someone was pulling at the door. After trying several times, the man yelled, "The door is deformed and can't be opened. Call 120 and 110!"
Yu Chucheng opened his mouth weakly, his whole body was squeezed in the severely deformed car, and he couldn't make a sound.
It was raining hard, and just when he was about to fall asleep listening to the incessant rain, the sound of an ambulance pierced the sky.
Police cars and firefighters also arrived, and the firefighters used tools to pry open the car door.
When Yu Chucheng was dragged out of the car, he felt as cold as a corpse.
I was so unlucky that I had a car accident on the way home.
He was still breathing when he was carried onto a stretcher.
But Yu Chucheng knew it was useless. Visions began to flash before his eyes and his chest was in excruciating pain. His internal organs might be shattered, but he didn't even have the strength to shed tears. He probably would die in a few minutes.
The sounds of the entire world were receding from him. He felt as if he was being held in a swimming pool, with his ears filled with water.
It is said that the last thing a person loses after death is hearing.
Yu Chucheng's consciousness was so weak that it would be blown away by the wind. He didn't know whether he was dead or alive. Anyway, he just heard a conversation.
"Director Wang, another ambulance has arrived and the stretcher is ready! Do you want to activate the emergency equipment?"
"No need, bring the white cloth. The man inside had his lungs pierced by the steel bars loaded on the truck. He has died from excessive blood loss."
Who are they talking about? Who died?
Yu Chucheng's brain was like a rusty axle, turning slowly a little bit, but just this little bit brought him back to breath and prevented him from falling asleep.
"Yu Chucheng, Yu Chucheng?"
Duan Huaijin's voice came from far away.
Yu Chucheng blinked hard and finally came out of his memories.
"Let's go out first." Duan Huaijin's voice was lower than usual and not as steady as before.
Yu Chucheng nodded, "Okay."
When he stood up, he felt dizzy, like he was carsick, and felt like vomiting.
It was getting dark faster and faster. Yu Chucheng sat on a bench in the park, and a bottle of newly bought mineral water appeared in front of him.
Duan Huaijin held the water in his hand and asked, "Feeling uncomfortable?"
Yu Chucheng looked up at Duan Huaijin.
He hadn't realized what was happening just now, but Duan Huaijin had already pinned him down. Although it was just an amusement ride and the bumper cars were all soft, it could still be dangerous if you suddenly unbuckled your seatbelt.
Yu Chucheng felt very uncomfortable and suddenly grabbed Duan Huaijin's wrist, "Why are you protecting me? You were obviously sitting outside."
Duan Huaijin paused for two seconds, "Shouldn't you be happy that someone is protecting you?"
Yu Chucheng turned his head away, "I don't need such protection."
Duan Huaijin glanced from the end of his eyes, staring closely at Yu Chucheng, and said in a serious voice, "Really?"
The wind was strong at night, and Yu Chucheng's eyes felt a little sore.
Yu Chucheng had been in a car accident, and the pain of having his bones broken and his internal organs crushed was so great that it made his soul tremble. He had previously joked that Duan Huaijin and he had a similar fate in the way they died, but now he couldn't laugh at all.
He has a pain in his heart now.
"Really, I don't want it."
Just after he finished speaking, Yu Chucheng's eyelashes trembled, and the corner of his eye was wiped lightly by the tip of a finger.
Duan Huaijin looked down at him, "Why do you look like you're about to cry?"
"put--"
Yu Chucheng was used to exchanging insults with Ji Zhou, and when the word "bullshit" was on the tip of his tongue, he choked and turned 180 degrees on the spot.
"You're talking nonsense. I just have dry eyes and it hurts."
Duan Huaijin no longer looked down at him, but slowly squatted down, the colorful lights of the park at night reflected on his face.
"Then why are you angry?"
Yu Chucheng avoided his gaze, "Who told you?"
He obviously hid his emotions very well.
Duan Huaijin whispered: "Your pheromones told me."
Yu Chucheng was stunned and opened his mouth.
Oh, that’s right, he forgot about pheromones. Pheromones cannot hide emotions.
It happened that the day was almost over, and the barrier sprayed in the morning was about to dissipate. The concentration of pheromones around him was now much higher than when they first met.
Yu Chucheng quickly concentrated his mind and tried to take back the pheromones.
Unfortunately, it was too late, Duan Huaijin had already caught his little emotions.
"Tell me, why are you angry?"
The sudden bamboo scent in the air intercepted Yu Chucheng's pheromones halfway, like a barrier, preventing Yu Chucheng from taking them back.
The bench they were sitting on was very secluded, with no one around.
Duan Huaijin's pheromones slowly seeped into the sweet Omeg pheromones and mixed with Yu Chucheng's. This direct and even somewhat rude way of perception left Yu Chucheng's emotions nowhere to escape, including the throbbing in his heart.
Yu Chucheng blushed and had no mind to think about anything else. Her attention was completely drawn to Duan Huaijin's pheromones.
When pheromones are combined together, it looks much more intimate than simply holding hands.
"Look, you are obviously angry, why do you lie?" Duan Huaijin's eyes were dark, and occasionally a very slight ripple would pass through his eyes, fleeting, but it made his eyes brighter.
Yu Chucheng felt like he was running naked on the street, and became inexplicably irritated, depressed and ashamed.
But Duan Huaijin was particularly persistent about the answer to the previous question. The less he spoke, the more Duan Huaijin asked.
Yu Chucheng couldn't stand it anymore, and in a fit of anger, he grabbed Duan Huaijin by the collar.
Duan Huaijin was leaned forward by his grasp.
Yu Chucheng's cheeks were burning, "Because I like you, okay!"
He felt that Duan Huaijin did it on purpose, but he had no evidence.
Yu Chucheng regretted it as soon as he finished speaking.
Damn, what is he doing? How can he just say it out loud? He might as well go back and kill himself with a piece of tofu!
Yu Chucheng didn't dare to look at Duan Huaijin's expression. He was extremely annoyed. He stood up from the chair and left without looking back.
As soon as I took a step, someone grabbed my wrist.
