Chapter 35: Not Here to Save the Child

Once Chen Hua made up her mind, she gently raised her hand, and a very small silver needle was inserted into the blood vessel of one of the children.

With a gentle stretch of her fingers, the silver needle returned to Chen Hua's hand, and the child's lips slowly returned to their original shape.

Then, Shen Hua started to insert several needles into the remaining children's bodies. After a while, Shen Hua finished talking about what had happened.

After confirming that the child was safe, Shen Hua turned to look at the two people.

Xie Sichen was in a better state, but Feng Qing looked rather disheveled. His clothes had been grabbed by the strange thing and torn apart.

"Damn it, this monster is a lecher, he actually coveted my beauty, and instead of fighting, he tore my clothes."

"Si Chen, help me get revenge! My innocence is at stake! If you hadn't called me, I would never have done this kind of hard work, even if you killed me."

This space is absolutely hideous. And those other things... it looks like they dug up some family's ancestral graves. This is pure torture for both body and mind.

"Ugh, I can't think about it, I feel like throwing up again."

"Noisy".

Xie Sichen gave him a cold look, which startled Feng Qing so much that he immediately shut up.

Xie Sichen chopped down the strange thing in front of him with a single stroke, then went to help him deal with the monster.

Feng Qing's weapon was designed for ranged attacks, but the cramped space here severely limited his effectiveness.

With Xie Sichen's help, it will be much easier for him to deal with it.

Xie Sichen fought the strange creature at close range while he fired arrows from a distance.

With this coordinated effort, these strange creatures quickly collapsed.

Xie Sichen tossed the sword to him and stood there wiping his hands with a tissue.

Feng Qing put the sword back into the storage bag at her waist, and then touched the storage bag with her hand, as if she were petting a pet.

After touching them enough, he walked over to Xie Sichen, pointed at the children, and asked, "Sichen, what should we do with these children?"

Xie Sichen silently moved a little away from him before speaking calmly, "Carry him to the shore, then call the police."

"No, why me?"

Xie Sichen glanced at him, then turned and walked towards the center, stopping every now and then to look around, as if searching for something.

Not long after, he felt as if he stepped on something, and a small stone suddenly appeared.

Then, with a cracking sound, a small patch of stone popped open from both sides, revealing a small box.

The box was sealed, so he didn't know what was inside. Xie Sichen wrapped the box with something and put it in his storage bag.

Feng Qing ran over curiously to take a look, but before she could even glance at it, Xie Sichen had already put the item away.

After looking around in vain, he asked Xie Sichen curiously, "Sichen, what is this? So you came here to get this?"

Shen Hua overheard this and saw the wooden box from before. She then realized that she had misunderstood; these two people had not come specifically to rescue the child.

That makes sense, these children have just gone missing, they're not so easy to find.

She wouldn't have been able to find it so quickly if she didn't have a fox's keen sense of smell.

Even if they didn't come for the children, now that they've seen them, they won't abandon them.

Feng Qing didn't ask what the box was, but instead started carrying people on her back.

Carefully pry open the spider silk with your sword, then hold the children in your arms. Seeing that their faces are rosy, you know that the children are alright.

"It's quite strange that these disgusting things didn't harm the children."

Could it be an overflowing maternal love?
