“Thank you, Palace Master Bingyun. I’ll be leaving now.” Yun Che said as he stood up to say goodbye.
“Yun Che…” Mu Bingyunxue clenched her fists tightly, as if she was struggling with something internally, as if she wanted to say something but hesitated.
"What's wrong?" Yun Che couldn't help but ask curiously.
“You and… Feixue…” Mu Bingyun stuttered.
“…” Yun Che was slightly stunned, somewhat puzzled as to why Mu Bingyun would suddenly ask such a question. However, he still nodded frankly and admitted, “Feixue has waited for me my entire life. Before I left for the Abyss, I made a promise to her that if I could return safely, I would spend the rest of my life with her.”
"Waiting a lifetime?" Mu Bingyun murmured softly, as if to herself. Then she let out a long sigh and said slowly, "I understand. You can go now."
She turned and left, but the footprints left on the snow seemed disorganized, as if telling of the turmoil in her heart at the moment.
Could love be earned through sincere waiting? Such thoughts arose in her mind...
Yun Che looked at this extremely familiar scene, and a complex look flashed in his eyes.

Time quietly passed, and as the six-month deadline approached, Yun Che chose to come to the Devil Queen, Chi Wuyao. He had always known that the Devil Queen was the one who silently gave the most and provided him with the greatest support. She was like his most solid support.
Yun Che took gentle steps and entered Chi Wuyao's bedroom. Without making a sound, he quietly and tightly embraced his Demon Queen from behind, gently resting his head on her shoulder. It was as if, in that moment, all his exhaustion had found a place to rest.
“What’s wrong, my Yundi?” Chi Wuyao felt a familiar embrace from behind. She gently cupped Yun Che’s hands between hers, their fingers tightly intertwined. She could sense the worry and guilt in Yun Che’s heart, as if she could read every corner of his mind.
“It’s nothing, I just want to hold you like this forever. Although you’ve done so much for me as the Demon Queen, I often neglect your feelings. I’m sorry.” Yun Che’s voice was as gentle as the breeze as he whispered slowly into Chi Wuyao’s ear.
"I'm not the type of woman to get jealous. Emperor Yun, please don't think too narrowly of me." Chi Wuyao chuckled and teased.
“Wuyao, you’ve always been with the Nine Witches before. This time, I want to be alone with you. Okay?” Yun Che gently turned Chi Wuyao over, placed his hands on her shoulders, and looked at her with a sincere and serious gaze.
"I didn't expect the Yun Emperor to be so mischievous. Great! I couldn't ask for more." Chi Wuyao smiled charmingly. She naturally understood what Yun Che was trying to say, and she happily accepted it, both for her own sake and for Yun Che's. "Then let's forget everything and enjoy tonight."
She tilted her head slightly and slowly let down the black veil on both sides.
