Chapter 109 Blowing up the city gate with hot weapons (2/2)

"I will watch how they die today!"

As soon as Minister Chu finished speaking, a loud bang suddenly came from behind him.

He was not paying attention and fell to the ground due to the impact.

Immediately afterwards, tiles and bricks on the city wall fell everywhere, making crackling sounds.

Just now, the cannonball fired by Chu Chenyin hit the center of the city wall.

Minister Chu and Magistrate Ding were bewildered and had no idea what was going on.

Another loud bang followed immediately afterwards.

The entire building began to shake violently.

County Magistrate Ding lay on the ground, pulling Minister Chu's ankle and saying, "Master Chu, oh my God! What is going on?!"

Minister Chu turned around and took a look at the black smoke. "Who fired the cannon?!"

County Magistrate Ding shouted at him, "Master Chu, you are so forgetful! How can this artillery fire be so powerful! This is thunder from the sky!"

As soon as he finished speaking, there was another loud bang.

Tiles and bricks continued to fall.

Minister Chu was anxious. He kicked his feet and ran forward. "What thunder or no thunder! Run! If we don't run, we will die!"

County Magistrate Ding was so frightened that his legs went limp. He hugged Minister Chu's waist and said tremblingly, "Master Chu, take me with you!"

Minister Chu was too busy with his own business to care about him anymore. He kicked him away and ran forward on his own.

However, he had just taken two steps when he heard the deafening sound of artillery shells from behind.

Lord Fu and Madam Fu, who were on the city wall, heard the noise and wanted to go out to take a look, but were stopped by Fu Kanghong.

"Dad, Mom, my eldest brother said that none of us can get off the carriage!"

"Can't get off the car?" Lord Fu and Madam Fu looked puzzled.

Fu Qianghong nodded slightly, "That's right, my brother said that the yellow sand outside is scary, so he asked you to wait in the carriage first."

Lord Fu and Madam Fu were half-believing and half-doubting. They couldn't guess what Fu Yanting was planning, but they just sat in the carriage obediently.

The victims far away from the carriage all raised their heads and looked towards the city tower.

"It was thunder from the sky, it must be thunder from the sky! God couldn't stand it anymore and came to punish that damn county magistrate!"

When Chu Chenyin heard them say this, he no longer cared about anything and fired a few more shots in succession.

Bang — — Bang — — Bang — —

The deafening sound of artillery fire continued to rang out, shaking the earth and the sky. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
