Chapter 267 Someone Wants to Steal Rice (2/2)

As there are more regular customers, fewer people go to Shi’s house to buy rice.

Lord Shi looked at his deserted shop with anger on his face. He rushed into the mansion angrily, grabbed the cup on the table and smashed it hard to the ground.

"I don't know where these two ungrateful people suddenly came from and stole our business."

The waiter beside him picked up the debris on the ground and whispered to him, "Don't worry, sir. They are just two merchants from outside the area. Let them be proud for a few days. We have plenty of ways to deal with them."

After hearing this, Lord Shi immediately came up with an idea, "They came from the Jiang Kingdom, so they must have brought a lot of rice. Why don't we find a way to burn all the rice in their rice warehouse?"

Xiao Dian suddenly had an idea and looked up and said, "Master, it would be a waste to burn the rice. Why don't we sneak into his house at night and steal all the rice, and then sell it ourselves."

Lord Shi narrowed his eyes and smiled, "Okay, this is a good idea. Anyway, we have the king to back us up. Even if they find out that we stole the rice, they won't be able to do anything to us."

The little girl bent over and nodded with a smile.

As soon as night fell, they set off.

Lord Shi sent a total of seven or eight servants.

Xiao Dian put on black clothes, parked a trailer outside Chu Chenyin's shop, and then sneaked in.

Chu Chenyin had already fallen asleep, but was suddenly awakened by the sound.

As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Fu Yanting sitting beside her with his hand against her lips, signaling her not to make a sound.

Chu Chenyin turned cold and pointed out the window with a puzzled look.

Fu Yanting took out a piece of paper and a pen, wrote two words, and handed it to her, "There is a thief."

Chu Chenyin quickly looked out the window, and when he heard the footsteps continue, he wrote two words on a piece of paper, "Catch or not?"

Fu Yanting shook his head and replied on the paper: "Let's go over and take a look."

Chu Chenyin nodded.

The boys sneaked to the warehouse door in the backyard, took out wire and unlocked the door.

The warehouse was pitch dark, and when you walked inside you could see dozens of bulging cloth bags.

Xiaodan was delighted when he saw it, "Look, it's all rice."

"Let's move quickly!" They didn't have time to check and immediately set out to move the rice.

Chu Chenyin and Fu Yanting lay on the roof, watching them quietly.

They usually store rice in a space, not in this warehouse.

In order to avoid suspicion, she and Fu Yanting used rice bags to fill dozens of bags of sand. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
