Chu Chenyin's rice shop opened half a month later.
Business was not very prosperous on the opening day. People who came just looked at the door and did not dare to go in.
They were afraid that if they bought rice from her house, they would be blamed by Lord Shi from the opposite side.
Chu Chenyin was not in a hurry. After opening the door, he placed a small table and a small recliner at the door, fanned himself in his hand, and ate melon seeds leisurely.
Fu Yanting was wearing a light blue gown and holding a cup of brewed fruit tea. After pouring a cup for Chu Chenyin, he sat down opposite her.
From a distance, the two of them looked like an ordinary young couple.
Fu Yanting drank tea and laughed: "No one has come to buy rice so far today?"
Chu Chenyin spat out the melon seed shells and said, "Don't worry, this is just the beginning."
Fu Yanting raised his head and looked at the Shi family across from him. "Their business has always been good."
The historians monopolized the rice and grain supply of the Longyuan Kingdom.
Common people can only go to his shop to buy things, so his business is naturally good.
Chu Chenyin stood up and walked to the door, lowering the price of rice again.
Fu Yanting smiled, "If you surrender again, you will lose everything."
Chu Chenyin raised her eyes and said, "Don't worry, I have plenty of food."
The grain in the space was harvested and planted automatically, crop after crop. If she didn't sell it, her family would not be able to finish it in several lifetimes.
"If no one comes after two days, we can lower the price further." Fu Yanting turned around and imitated the waiter, wiping the counter for her.
Chu Chenyin nodded. When she stood up and prepared to go back to the shop, a customer came into the shop.
"Shopkeeper, are you selling this sachet?"
Chu Chenyin looked back and saw only a young woman in pink clothes.
Chu Chenyin almost thought he was seeing things; this woman actually looked 70% similar to the original owner's former elder sister.
"The shopkeeper?"
The woman called to her again. Her voice was gentle and soft as water, completely different from that fierce elder sister. Upon closer inspection, there was indeed some difference in appearance.
Especially the eyes, those eyes don't look like her elder sister's, but more like her own.
Chu Chenyin came back to her senses and took out her sachet with a smile, "Miss, this sachet was made by my mother and I won't sell it."
The embroidery on the sachet was indeed made by Mrs. Fu, but Chu Chenyin sprinkled some of her favorite perfume inside.
Modern perfume is very different from ancient sachets.
It was the first time that the woman in front of her smelled such a unique fragrance, so she wanted to buy the sachet in her hand.
"Boss, you really don't want to sell this sachet?" the woman asked, staring at the sachet intently.
Chu Chenyin looked at her and found that there were two maids following her.
