Chapter 129 Feeding Everyone Spiritual Spring Water (2/2)

The number of chickens, ducks and geese has tripled.

She collected at least thousands of chicken and duck eggs in the fresh-keeping space.

As the space became filled with more and more supplies, she felt more and more secure.

After feeding the pigs, sheep and cows in the ranch, she went to the fresh-keeping space, took dozens of eggs, secretly left the space, and then placed them in the carriage where supplies were stored without anyone noticing.

Next comes rice, pork, salt, oil, and water.

She didn't take much each time, but it was enough for her to eat.

After the tent was packed up, Uncle Liu and Qing'er's mother set up the stove together.

During this journey, Uncle Liu and Qing'er's mother became very close. If there was a need to cook on weekdays, Uncle Liu would definitely rush to build the stove and light the fire.

She also helps Qing'er's mother wash and cut vegetables.

Lord Fu and Madam Fu both noticed something, but they didn't point it out by name and let the two of them develop their thoughts.

When Chu Chenyin was taking a few radishes into the kitchen, he happened to see Uncle Liu blowing on Qing'er's mother's hands.

She turned away quickly.

Qing'er's mother saw her and said, "Madam, you are here. Come in quickly."

After hearing this, Chu Chenyin turned around and walked into the house awkwardly, "Auntie, what happened to your hand just now?"

Qing'er's mother smiled and said, "It's nothing, just be careful of getting burned."

Chu Chenyin put down the radish in his hand and said, "Let me take a look."

"Okay, Madam." Qing'er's mother handed her the hand.

Chu Chenyin looked down and found a big blister on her finger. "Auntie, I have some ointment for burns. I'll bring it to you later."

Qing'er's mother shook her head and said, "No, it's just a minor injury. It's okay."

Chu Chenyin smiled and said, "Although it's a minor injury, it would be bad if it left a scar."

Uncle Liu also came over and said, "Yes, your hands are still the hands for weaving cloth, you must not leave scars on them."

Chu Chenyin seemed to have heard something strange and asked quickly, "Auntie, can you weave cloth?"

Qing'er's mother smiled subtly and nodded, "Well, before I got married, I stayed in the weaving workshop with my mother for a while."

Chu Chenyin then asked, "Then you also know how to spin yarn and weave cloth?"

Qing'er's mother replied, "Yes, they all do."

Chu Chenyin was overjoyed.

Although she has stored some silk and fabric in her space, this is not a long-term solution. Only by being able to be independent and deeply rooted and being able to spin and weave can she last long. This chapter has been read (please click on the next chapter to continue reading!)
