Chapter 2 was awakened

Qiu Jingwen trembled slightly upon hearing the shout.

He felt a chill run down his spine, and his entire back went cold.

Qiu Jingwen, who had received training in a training class in his youth, did not stop.

He pretended not to hear the person behind him talking to him.

He hoped it was a dream, or that he was hallucinating.

He knew perfectly well that the people following him were definitely Kuomintang agents lying in wait.

Otherwise, it would have been impossible to know that Qiu Jingwen used the name Sun Jiadong in the early days of the People's Republic of China.

Seeing that Qiu Jingwen did not stop, the man in the straw raincoat quickly pushed his bicycle, rushed in front of him, and directly pushed the bicycle in front of Qiu Jingwen.

With a loud crash!

The bicycle's front wheel, which lifted up instantly, drew an arc in mid-air before colliding with the bicycle under Qiu Jingwen's hand, creating a dazzling splash of water.

Qiu Jingwen's mind went blank.

It felt like someone hit me on the back of the head with a brick.

time,

It was as if everything had completely frozen in that moment.

Qiu Jingwen was completely blocked halfway up the mountain by the man in the straw raincoat.

"Sun Jiadong, no, I should call you Cobra, are you still pretending to be deaf and dumb?"

As the man in the straw raincoat spoke, he reached out and took off his straw hat from his head.

He wiped the rain off his face and smoothed the few strands of hair hanging down his forehead to the sides, as if he wanted to show his whole face to Qiu Jingwen so that Qiu Jingwen could perform facial recognition.

Nevertheless, Qiu Jingwen pretended not to recognize him.

"Comrade, you've mistaken me for someone else. What cobra? Besides, my name isn't Sun Jiadong."

Qiu Jingwen suppressed his inner tension and fear, staring intently at the man in front of him, his legs trembling uncontrollably.

Fortunately, the torrential rain was pouring down, and Qiu Jingwen's inner fear and physical trembling were covered by the rain.

A man in the downpour, holding the handlebars of a bicycle in one hand and carrying a straw hat in the other.

The man was of medium build, wearing a blue and white striped shirt, blue khaki pants, and yellow sneakers.

The man in front of me looked very old, with wrinkles all over his forehead and the corners of his eyes, and a thumb-length scar on his cheek that, at first glance, looked like a purple centipede crawling on his face.

Seeing that Qiu Jingwen treated him like a stranger, the man in front of him seemed very angry.

He looked around at the cement road in front and behind him, and seeing that no one was approaching, he sneered.

"Heh, Sun Jiadong, say it again, you really don't recognize me? I'm Liu Han, your instructor. My code name is Rattlesnake. We're both in the 'Hidden' group. I'm your direct superior. I'm the one who brought you into the Military Intelligence Bureau. And you're still trying to act tough here?!"

"What superior? I don't understand!"

Qiu Jingwen attempted to retaliate in kind.

He wanted to suppress the other party's momentum.

The thing he feared most over the years has finally happened.

Moreover, the one who found him, or rather, awakened him, was none other than Liu Han, the direct superior who had dragged him into this mess back then.

Seeing Qiu Jingwen's anger, Liu Han sneered again in the pouring rain.

"If you really don't understand, then can't this scar on my face remind you of anything?"

After saying that, he directly showed Qiu Jingwen the terrifying scar.

"Comrade, you've really mistaken me for someone else. I'll say it again, I don't know you at all, and my name isn't Sun Jiadong."

Qiu Jingwen stubbornly refused to admit it.

He felt that his appearance must have changed a lot in the nearly 30 years since he was a teenager back then.

Upon hearing this, Liu Han was completely enraged!

He lifted the handlebars of his bicycle and rammed them violently against Qiu Jingwen's bicycle handlebars several times, then sneered again.

“Sun Jiadong, you keep showing off, you think you can clear your name and become a spy? If you keep acting like this, believe me, I’ll send an anonymous letter to the local police tomorrow, exposing your long-hidden spy identity, telling them your code name is Cobra, and telling them everything about your training program.”

Qiu Jingwen naturally knew who the man in front of him was.

Although Liu Han had become an old man, Qiu Jingwen still recognized him from his old face and scars.

In the early days of liberation, during the summer vacation of the year he graduated from junior high school, Qiu Jingwen, who was only fifteen years old, was bribed by Liu Han with a few silver dollars and recruited as a Kuomintang agent. He was given six months of special training and then arranged to stay in Duliang to be a mole on the mainland. He was to join the "hidden group" with others, waiting for the organization to awaken him and contribute to the great cause of the restoration of the party and the country.

"Liu Han, what exactly do you want?!"

Qiu Jingwen is about to go crazy!

He shouted at the man in front of him.

At that moment, he knew in his heart that pretending not to know the other person would be of no use.

"Hmph, you've finally acknowledged me as your father!"

Liu Han smiled.

The laughter was both unrestrained and terrifying.

He laughed wildly as he reached out and patted Qiu Jingwen on the shoulder.

"Cobra, don't be nervous or afraid. As long as you obey me, I will not expose your identity as a spy, because we are in the same boat. If one suffers, we suffer; if one prospers, we prosper."

After hearing this, Qiu Jingwen reached out and wiped the rain off his face.

Having calmed down a bit, he looked around the road ahead and behind, and seeing no one, he shouted loudly at Liu Han:

"What do you mean by 'obedient'? I would never do anything for your damn Military Intelligence Bureau. It's been decades since liberation, the Chiang Kai-shek regime has long been destroyed, and the old man surnamed Chiang is buried in the ground. You still think about this bullshit restoration cause? It's a complete joke!"
