Chapter 10: All for Eating Meat and Being Lazy

Next, the middle finger said: "Material samples. I need some charcoal, waste residue, and lead-rich samples to help me revise the design."

Next, the ring finger said: "On-site supervision. I need to observe and monitor the reaction process at the smelting site so that problems can be corrected in time."

Finally, the little finger said: "Experimental equipment. With the materials, in order to identify and calculate the mineral composition and content, I need a complete set of experimental equipment."

Huggins hesitated for a moment before speaking, "I can handle the materials. Edgar can help with the time. But what kind of experimental equipment do you need?"

Based on his memory, Todd sketched on paper the most basic chemical experimental equipment from his previous life: test tubes, beakers, graduated cylinders, distillation flasks, filter tubes, and so on.

After a bland and unappetizing lunch, Todd was finally able to fully immerse himself in his money-making scheme.

They sat there from noon until evening.

The setting sun took away the last rays of sunlight from the room.

Looking at the finally completed design drawings and processing flow, Todd moved his sore shoulders, rubbed his tired eyes, and thought that he could finally rest for a while.

He was about to go out to find something to eat when he heard a man's wailing coming from under the bluestone slab. He couldn't help but recall what Huggins had told him before.
