Chapter 377 The Prototype of the Alien Warship (Part 1)

Aisha, entering the soul space for the first time, stared wide-eyed in disbelief at the various people in the conference room, unable to process what she had just seen.

After a long while, Aisha rubbed her face with her palm and stammered, "I... I remember you poked me in the head with something, and then we ended up here?!"

Todd, busy organizing data, sat down at his computer, pointed to the conference table, and said, "Find a seat anywhere. I'll bring the next person in now."

"The next person?"

In a mere instant, a young man dressed in Arab attire suddenly appeared beside the conference table; he was none other than the scholar Abu ibn Sabah al-Kandi.

Kendi had just entered the soul space and was respectfully greeting the king, but upon seeing Aisha, his expression changed drastically, and he shouted angrily, "It's you! I've been looking for you for so long! If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been thrown into prison!"

In response to Kendi's accusations, Aisha rolled her eyes indifferently.

Todd tapped the desktop with the folder and said to the two of them, "Let bygones be bygones. I called you here today because I have something more important to say!"

Seeing that Kendi's anger had subsided, Todd summoned Terence and Elijah in.

Looking at the four puzzled "guests" in front of him, Todd turned on the 3D projector in the conference room and said, "I've gathered you here today to discuss the future military pressure on Muxi City."

Terence straightened up and asked curiously, "Military pressure?"

Todd turned his gaze to Aisha: "First of all, I have a question for you. If the Southern Empire and Muxi City were to go to war, who would have the advantage on the battlefield?"

Seeing everyone's attention focused on her, Aisha crossed her arms and said without any hesitation, "I don't know about land, but at sea, the fleet of Muxi City couldn't even damage the smallest warship of the Empire."

Elijah, who was in charge of the ship's design, couldn't sit still any longer. He stood up from his chair, about to question Aisha, when Terence, who was next to him, coughed loudly and said, "Let her finish."

Seeing the incredulous looks on the faces of the people in front of her, Aisha cleared her throat: "In the Empire, commonly used warships are divided into four classes. The fourth class of warships is called a reconnaissance ship. It is 32 meters long, has a crew of 140, and 20 guns. It is often used for coastal guard, enemy reconnaissance, or attacks on merchant ships."

"The third-class warships are also known as cruisers. They are generally two-masted, 40 meters long, with a crew of 220 and 28 guns. They are often used for long-range raids and naval cooperation."

"The second-tier warships are called capital ships. They come in two-masted and three-masted versions, with a hull length that can reach 48 meters and a gun turret that can hold up to 40 guns. They are the backbone of the Imperial Navy. I don't know how powerful these warships are, but I always avoid capital ships when I see them."

Todd asked, "What about the first-class warships?"

"I have no idea."

"you do not know?"

Aisha shrugged: "I've only heard that the Empire has battleships that are even bigger than capital ships, but I have no idea how big or powerful they are."

Todd pursed his lips and nodded: "Could you show the types of warships you know using models?"

Aisha's eyes widened: "Model? Display? What do you mean? These warships are all in my mind, how could I possibly take them out?!"

Todd pointed to the 3D modeling machine in the middle and said, "Try to recall the details of those ships in your mind and then 'push' them onto this platform."

"Your Majesty, you're joking, right?"

Despite saying that, Aisha still followed Todd's instructions and began to recall the shape and structure of the Imperial warships.

A short while later, a light blue sling-masted warship appeared before everyone's eyes in a 3D projection.

Seeing that the things in her mind had actually appeared on the table, Aisha exclaimed excitedly, "This is amazing!"

The others didn't look so happy.

Terence carefully examined the ship's structure, and after a long while, he exchanged a glance with Elijah.

Meanwhile, Todd asked Kendi, "When you were back in your hometown, did you know anything about the manufacture of Imperial warships?"

Kendi shook his head: "My research doesn't include shipbuilding, but I know a little about sails, navigation, and hull stability."

Todd was still persistent: "Then what about the artillery?"

Kendi sighed: "Muscles and cannons are strictly confidential technologies of the Empire. Only scholars and craftsmen with special permission can access them. Moreover, once you start working with these weapons, you will be confined to the inner city for the rest of your life and will never be able to leave."

Todd rubbed his temples, looking troubled, and then turned his attention to the master and apprentice: "How does the shipbuilding technology of the Southern Empire differ from that of Muxi City?"

Elijah stared at the model: "Watertight design, angled sails, cables, balance, hull... The Southern Empire is indeed superior to the North in shipbuilding design. If I were to give my opinion, the North's shipbuilding techniques are still stuck in the ancient Tyro era, but the South has already entered a new era."

"You should know that I don't want to hear praise. Is there any way for Muxi City to narrow or eliminate this gap?"

Elijah nodded: "With the blueprints in hand, Muxi University can begin the research and development of the new ship hull."

Todd then asked, "How long does it take from the start of research and development to final use?"
