"Those on His Majesty's list have already been put on the carriages," Huggins said to Alfonso as he entered the room. "The Knights of Twilight will send an escort to take you to the border."
Alfonso put down his helmet and strode towards the door.
Alfonso boarded the carriage and traveled along the wide road. The scenery along the way was picturesque, but he always felt out of place.
As the procession reached the city gate, a quarrel drew Alfonso's attention.
A group of people dressed as students, holding leaflets promoting science and criticizing ignorance, handed them out to everyone passing through the city while loudly condemning the ignorance and absurdity of religious rhetoric.
Another group of clergy, dressed in priestly robes, approached the students and demanded that they immediately cease this blasphemous behavior.
The two groups quickly clashed and started arguing loudly.
Hearing the words attacking Christ and slandering religion coming from not far away, Alfonso's veins bulged.

"Why not?! Listen to what those bastards are saying!" Parasitic limbs emerged from the gaps in Alfonso's armor, twisting and swaying in mid-air.
With a tone that was three parts helplessness and seven parts seriousness, Huggins said to Alfonso, "His Majesty has personally decreed that everyone in Twilight City has the right to freedom of speech, and no one's freedom can be interfered with by force!"
Alfonso was taken aback, then gritted his teeth and growled, "So we're just going to let these people spout nonsense?!"
"You can argue with others, provide counterexamples, and analyze their arguments, but you absolutely cannot resort to violence!"
Alfonso angrily pounded on the car door, stomped his foot heavily on the ground, and roared, "Let's go!"
Huggins watched as Alfonso got back into the carriage before letting out a long sigh of relief.
Frowning at the noisy students, Huggins picked up a scattered flyer from the ground, glanced at its contents, his eyes widened, he gasped, and with a forceful rip, the flyer was instantly torn in two.
The shredded paper slowly slid to the ground, with a line of bright red characters printed on it.
"God is dead!"
