Wayne continued speaking to himself, "During my screening and classification of antibodies, I suddenly became interested in Marcus, a necromancer with a human soul. He's clearly dead, but how does his soul function?"
"I extracted some of his nerve cells, as well as some necrotic parasites connected to them, and discovered a very interesting phenomenon."
Todd's interest was piqued at this point: "An interesting phenomenon?"
"When this part of the living body is placed on a weighing device, the number on the weighing device changes constantly, sometimes light and sometimes heavy."
Todd asked, "Are you sure you've eliminated all distractions?"
Wayne: "Yes, air, temperature, gravity, humidity... I'm sure I've ruled out all the interfering factors, but the weight of this piece of living tissue peeled off Marcus's body, it really does keep changing."
Todd pondered for a moment and said, "Back in the day, at Twilight University, you did an experiment where humans died and their weight decreased slightly."
Wayne: "So, I was thinking, assuming the soul really has weight, then it's perfectly normal for a human to lose weight when they die; but the nerves infected by the necromancy parasite, with their weight changing repeatedly, does that mean the necromancy parasite acts as some kind of conduit, allowing the host's soul to connect to somewhere and travel back and forth?"
Todd grew increasingly confused: "A passage? A shuttle? What exactly are you trying to say?"
Wayne took a deep breath and decided to explain in more detail: "Your Majesty, I once read a book in the Library of Heaven called Wave-Particle Duality."
Todd remembered that he had indeed read this book in his previous life, but he only remembered the contents of the book.
Wayne: "Any microscopic particle, when locked by consciousness, collapses into a local point particle; however, when consciousness no longer locks it, it forms a spreading wave that propagates in any space, in any place."
Todd's eyes widened: "I'm still not sure what all this has to do with the soul...?"
Wayne said anxiously, “Your Majesty, isn’t it obvious? The so-called soul is actually a kind of particle. When it is in the consciousness of a living being, it exists as a point particle, and therefore has weight; but once it is released by consciousness, it becomes a diffuse wave and no longer has mass.”
