Supuha Volcano, in front of the portal.
Watching Sutherland slowly fall into the lava, Todd flapped his dragon wings and remained suspended in the air.
A black raven feather drifted slowly down from the sky. Todd stretched out his dragon claw to catch it, but before he could touch it, he found that it had turned to ashes.
Spreading his wings, Todd slowly glided downwards and finally landed beside Evie.
Turning his head, Todd looked at the empty portal, closed his eyes, and his body slowly transformed into human form.
He donned a long robe, sat down beside Ivy, and gazed at the distant beacon tower flashing red light, saying softly, "It's all coming to an end."
Evie gently rested her head on Todd's shoulder, closed her eyes, and said, "It's so quiet."
Todd looked at the portal, which was now shimmering with ripples of light and was completely empty. He nodded and said, "Yes, everyone's gone. It's really quiet now..."
Evie murmured, “When I was a child, people always told me that only on the battlefield can the soul find lasting peace… But now, this tranquility before destruction may suit me better.”
Todd reached out and gently put his arm around Evie: "The ultimate goal of war is peace, but few people understand this."
Evie: "War and peace mean nothing to me; my sword and bow exist only for you..."
Todd lowered his head and gently kissed Evie's forehead, then slowly closed his eyes.
A moment later, a slight tremor came from the magma at the bottom of the volcano.
A piercing roar came from the bottom of the volcano and echoed in the cave.
Todd opened his eyes and looked at the enormous undead body that Sutherland had once used, the undead mother, slowly rising from the lava.
The monster's eyes no longer held the light of a soul; only the instinct for destruction and the desire to devour remained.
Ivy asked with her eyes closed, "What's wrong?"
Todd whispered, "Sutherland is dead. His body has been completely possessed by the undead... Now, it's awake..."
Ivy slowly opened her eyes and reached for the sword behind her.
Todd looked at the portal not far away. The ripples of light were slowly weakening, and the portal's strength was also gradually decreasing. The portal's size had shrunk to less than one-tenth of its original size.
Todd said to Evie, "You should know what's going to happen next."
Ivy picked up her sword, nodded, and said, "I know."
Todd turned his face toward the portal: "You still have a chance to leave from here."
Ivy struggled to her feet, gripping the hilt of her sword tightly: "Will you leave?"
Todd fell silent.
Facing the monster that had risen from the lava, Evie turned to Todd with a smile and said, "You should know my answer."
Todd sighed with a wry smile, stood up from the ground, put on his robe, and walked to Ivy's side: "Yes."
The two abandoned their only means of survival and prepared themselves for destruction.
Just then, Todd, who was about to transform into a dragon, suddenly saw a figure leap down from above the cave and land directly on the head of the Necromancer Mother.
Ivy also saw the figure and asked in surprise, "What is that?"
It was a female body completely covered by dragon bone parasites and necromancy parasites, with several huge parasitic limbs behind her, like bone wings about to take flight.
Todd stared at the figure, trembling all over, muttering to himself in disbelief, "Could it be... impossible..."
The woman landed on top of the undead mother's head, and her massive dragon-bone limbs, like steel bars, sparked against the monster's carapace, slowing her descent.
The Necromancer Mother let out a huge roar, trying to shake her body from side to side to throw the uninvited guest off her.
The woman used the gripping force of her keel limbs to stabilize herself, her hands and feet firmly wedged into the gaps in her carapace. Countless undead parasite tentacles emerged from her body and pierced the body of the undead mother.
Todd took off his robe and sprinted towards the edge of the platform, shouting to Ivy as he ran, "Find a way to distract that giant monster!"
Ivy opened her eyes wide and asked, "What happened?"
Todd leaped off the platform, leaving behind the words: "That girl who just arrived, she's Rachel!"
Humans underwent a physical transformation, and the dragon form returned.
Todd flapped his dragon wings and flew to the abdomen of the Necromancer Mother. A pillar of fire spewed from the dragon's mouth and struck the latter hard.
The undead mother, under attack, swung her body, sending dozens of enormous limbs hurtling towards Todd.
Todd, flying at high speed, dodged them all, and then kept spitting fireballs at the shell of the Necromancer Mother.
Evie raised her bow and looked at the Necromancer's body. She quickly found the spear that had killed Sutherland's main body and was still left on the Necromancer's body. She aimed at the wound near the spear and fired an arrow through the air.
In pain, the Necromancer Mother began to gradually shift her attention to the human and the dragon.
Meanwhile, Rachel, who was perched on top of the mother, took the opportunity to extend her arm and pierce the tentacles of the necromancy parasite into the gaps between the mother's carapace.
And so, after several minutes of fighting, the Necromancer Mother slowly ceased her movements.
Its body was still swaying slightly, but the savage glint was no longer visible in its eyes.
This enormous thing looks like an elderly person who has suffered a stroke, sitting motionless in the lava.
Todd flapped his dragon wings, carefully approaching the top of the Necromancer's head, looking at the figure covered in parasites, and asked, "Ratchet?"
