Chapter 754 Destiny (Part 7)

Walton pointed to the slightly larger tomb and said, "Yours."

Then, pointing to the slightly smaller one, he said, "Mine."

Walton dusted off his hands and said with a smile, "We made a promise: you, me, Adelina, and Leslie, the four of us, will be together."

Upon hearing this, Alfonso stood frozen in place, and in that instant, a memory from the past suddenly came to mind.

Four people sat together by the fire.

As Walton counted the bounty money, he loudly complained about the church's stinginess.

Leslie sat by the fire, carefully cooking the fish, occasionally making a joke at Walton.

Adelina took out her sewing kit and began mending other people's torn clothes.

Walton sealed the money bag, and while calculating something in the ledger, he said loudly, "When we have money in the future, we'll buy a big estate, the kind with a wine cellar!"

Leslie glanced at him: "That's right, you'll live right below the wine cellar. We'll prepare an empty wine barrel for you, and we can even save on the cost of a bed."

Walton said irritably, "Then you can live in the kitchen. We'll save on firewood costs when we cook!"

Adelina put down her needlework, smiled, and said, "It doesn't matter where we live, the important thing is to be together."

Leslie nodded and said, "That's right. Where you live isn't important; the key is who you're with."

Walton put away his money pouch and said to Alfonso, "Boss, it's settled then. Whether we buy a big estate or not, the four of us will live together."

Thinking of this, Alfonso felt a lump in his throat, something stuck in his throat, and his vision slowly blurred.

He hugged Walton and whispered, "Yes, the four of us together..."

Releasing Walton, Alfonso took out a bronze pendant from his chest and gently pressed the button next to the slot.

The pendant's outer casing popped open, revealing three strands of hair lying quietly inside the copper shell.

Picking up the sword from the ground, Alfonso slowly cut off a lock of his hair, tied it up, and gently placed it into the pendant.

Then he took out the Grand Master's badge that Cumberland had given him, along with his own bronze pendant, and placed them together in his own grave.

After doing all this, Alfonso slowly walked to Adelina's grave, knelt on one knee, pressed his forehead against the tombstone, and whispered, "Wait for me."
