Chapter 777 The Alien Knights (Part 2) (The Finale)

Liz: "There's nothing wrong with that, but Matt's methods of driving out the believers went a bit too far, and some people in the camp started to waver because of the proselytizing."

Alice asked, "Liz, tell me, do you believe in God?"

Liz sighed: "In a world like this, it's hard to convince yourself not to believe in gods, but at least I don't believe in those false gods of the Eclipse Cult."

Alice touched the pendant on her chest without saying a word.

Liz looked at her and said softly, "This thing you've always carried with you is also a memento from your father."

Alice held up the pendant on her chest; it was a jet-black scale, and it was impossible to tell what kind of creature it originally belonged to.

Alice: "Since I was seven years old, I've had that nightmare many nights."

Liz: "That nightmare of blood-red skies and fiery earth?"

Alice nodded, looking at the pendant on her chest: "But I don't know why, whenever I wear it, I feel calm."

Liz was about to say something more when suddenly a companion rushed into the warehouse in a panic, shouting, "The infected are here!"

Alice jumped down from the wooden crate and asked the newcomer, "How many? What level?"

The person who came in was panting heavily and said, "There are many, probably a medium-sized horde of zombies... but I saw that there are Category 4 infected people among them."

Alice's eyes widened, and she shouted to those around her, "Everyone! Abandon all supplies! Return to the vehicles and evacuate immediately!"

Seeing Alice rush outside, Liz called out anxiously, "Where are you going?!"

Alice said without turning her head, "If there are Category 4 infected individuals, the vehicles simply can't shake them off! Someone has to lead them away!"

Before Liz could say anything more, Alice quickly left the supermarket, ran back to her motorcycle, put on her helmet, started the engine, and sped off in another direction.

While driving her motorcycle, Alice observed the horde of corpses in the distance through binoculars.

Amidst the billowing smoke and dust, a group of infected individuals covered in parasitic tentacles were running towards the city.

At the forefront of the horde of corpses were several bone-spiky undead, entirely white and covered in sharp spikes—the "fourth type of infected" that Alice referred to.

Alice glanced in the direction of the supermarket behind her and took a signal flare out of the motorcycle's side pocket.

She rubbed one end of the signal flare to ignite it, and orange-red smoke instantly billowed out, quickly dissipating in the direction the motorcycle was traveling.

Upon discovering the smoke, the horde of corpses let out a series of shrieks, changed direction, and sped towards Alice.

Alice drove her motorcycle towards the city.

With her skillful maneuvering, she dodged the wrecked vehicles and scattered debris on the street, using turns and accelerations to gradually increase the distance between herself and the horde of corpses.

Ten minutes later, she could no longer see the dust kicked up by the advancing horde of corpses in her rearview mirror.

Just when she thought she was safe, a sharp bone spike came flying from above and pierced the back seat of the motorcycle.

Startled, Alice quickly steered her motorcycle in an S-shape to avoid the attack of several bone spikes.

Out of the corner of her eye, she finally saw the attacker's identity.

Three bone-spiky undead, with their agility and speed, climbed the collapsed building and kept getting closer to Alice.

Alice drove her motorcycle at high speed through the collapsed buildings, hoping to find an open space to shake off her pursuers.

Unwittingly, Alice stumbled upon the site of the nuclear bombing in Las Vegas years ago.

Hearing the alarm from the radiation readings on the motorcycle, she realized something was wrong.

Alice hurriedly put on her gas mask and tried to drive away from the nuclear blast site as quickly as possible, but found that the car was getting slower and slower.

Looking down, I saw that the motorcycle's fuel tank had been pierced by a bone spike, leaving a large hole and leaking fuel continuously.

"Damn it!" Looking around at the empty surroundings, Alice searched for a place to hide while taking out a short-barreled shotgun from the motorcycle's side pocket.

With a shotgun slung over her back, Alice rode her motorcycle to the epicenter of the nuclear explosion, intending to use the terrain to make a final stand.

Abandoning her motorcycle, which was out of fuel, and grabbing a radiation meter, Alice ran frantically toward the crater of the nuclear blast.

Three bone-spiked undead followed closely behind her, and the distance between them grew ever closer.

Alice raised her shotgun and fired at the nearest bone spike necromancer, who dodged the bullet with a sidestep.

Just as Alice was about to fire a second shot, the ground beneath her feet suddenly collapsed, and her entire body instantly fell into a deep hole.

Alice, who had fallen to the ground, struggled to get up.

The excruciating pain in her right ankle made her let out a scream.

Leaning against the rock wall, Alice used her arms to support herself and struggled to stand up.

Hearing the shrieks of the dead coming from the ground, Alice glanced at the dark and narrow passage deep inside the cave.

Having no other choice, she limped sideways and squeezed into the passage, continuing her journey deeper underground.

To Alice's surprise, although the passage went downhill, it became wider and wider the further she went in.

Just as a glimmer of hope for survival rekindled in her, the sudden shriek of death behind her caused her to close her eyes in despair.

A sharp spike shot through the air, about to pierce her body.

Just then, a longsword gleaming with a pale blue light was suddenly swung out.
