Chapter 763 The Day of Revelation (Part 1)

Earth, Las Vegas, White Hole Singularity.

Most of Las Vegas has been designated a restricted area by the military and is now completely under their control.

Sentinels and checkpoints were everywhere, and large numbers of heavily armed troops guarded every major thoroughfare in the city.

Around the white hole singularity, a makeshift research center rose from the ground.

Countless instruments and equipment were arranged in a staggered manner around the huge white teleportation portal.

Hundreds of researchers drawn from across the country are working diligently to observe and extract data related to white holes.

On the screen, various complex readings and graphs kept flashing, and occasionally a piercing alarm could be heard.

Goodman stood with his hands behind his back, gazing at the enormous white hole emitting a constant white light before him, and exclaimed, "No matter how many times I see it, I can never get enough of such a wonder. I'm really curious, what exactly is on the other side of that hole?"

Clemens, who was observing the machine readings, said, "The substances oozing from the white hole include silicates, silicon dioxide, and activated alumina..."

Goodman cleared his throat: "To put it simply..."

Clemens looked up, thought for a moment, and then said, "Similar to volcanic ash."

Goodman turned his head in confusion: "Volcanic ash? Besides that? Isn't there anything else?"

Clemens took a glass container out of the insulated box, inside which sat a completely black object.

He held the glassware up to Goodman and said, "We also found this."

Goodman lowered his head, examined the contents of the vessel carefully, and asked, "What is this?"

Clemens: "A dense carbon-based organic compound, we suspect it... might be the scales of some kind of organism?"

Goodman: "Scales?"

Clemens swallowed hard, a little nervous: "Based on the size and molecular arrangement of the scales, we initially estimate that this creature may be over twenty-five meters long."

Goodman was taken aback: "Twenty-five meters? What's that? A dinosaur?"

Clemens nodded subconsciously: "I had the same thought... sir, I'm a little worried, perhaps we really should..."

Goodman interrupted Clemens: "The experiment will not be interrupted. Look around you, look at our army! Even if a dinosaur did come out of the white hole, I assure you, it would be blasted to pieces in less than five seconds!"

Clemens was about to say something more when suddenly the surrounding researchers shouted a warning: "The singularity data is fluctuating!"

Clemens rushed to the instrument, carefully examined the numbers on the gauges, and then his body trembled slightly.

Goodman moved closer to him and asked, "What's wrong? Is it like last time, with the singularity's signal weakening and the channel closing?"

Clemens turned pale and shook his head, saying, "No, quite the opposite, the signal is getting stronger and the channel is expanding."

Goodman spread his hands: "This is a good thing; it will buy us more time for our research."

Clemens: "The signal is getting stronger too fast. There's only one possibility—something's about to come out of the hole!"

Goodman clapped his hands excitedly and shouted to General Hamilton, who was standing at the scene, "General, you heard that? Something else is coming out! Get your men ready, don't let them get away again!"

General Hamilton roared, "Everyone to tactical positions!"

Soldiers armed with net guns stood in rows in front of the white hole, ready to catch any creatures that emerged from it at any time.

"Listen! I don't care what comes out of there! I want it alive!" Goodman shouted as he walked. "Living aliens are more valuable than dead ones! You all understand that!"

Suddenly, the white hole, which was originally three meters high, expanded to ten times its original size in an instant.

Moreover, the white hole continues to grow, and its surface even obscures the view of distant cities.

As the numbers on the machine continued to soar, Clemens gaped in astonishment, even forgetting to speak.

The next second, the equipment and instruments, unable to withstand the pressure any longer, emitted puffs of white smoke and sparks, and all the screens went completely black.

Seeing this, Clemens collapsed to the ground, pushing himself backward with his feet, muttering, "This isn't right, this isn't right, everything's gone mad, mad!"

While everyone was still in shock, a parasitic tentacle as thick as a steel bar suddenly pierced out of the white hole and directly blew the head off the nearest soldier.

Immediately afterwards, more and more parasitic tentacles emerged from the white hole.

They waved their arms around and slammed back and forth.

The soldiers near the white hole were covered in blood and gore, their limbs flying everywhere, turning the entire scene into a horrific carnage.

As people fled in fear, a pair of huge, sharp limbs, tens of meters long, slowly emerged from the white hole.

These two limbs were deeply embedded in the ground and pulled backward forcefully, seemingly trying to pull the body behind them out of the white hole.

General Hamilton was the first to react when he saw this scene.

He raised his pistol and shouted to the soldiers around him, "Fire! I fucking said fire! Drive those disgusting bastards away!"

Then, the general roared at the researchers who were scattering in all directions, "Close the passage! Close that damn passage now!"

Goodman stumbled over and shouted at Hamilton, "Don't shut it down! That's American property! Get your men up there..."

Hamilton pointed the pistol at Goodman's forehead: "Bastard! Shut your mouth, I won't let my men die in vain!"

The white hole continues to expand, and its top is now level with the tallest building in Las Vegas.

At the same time, pulled by the giant limbs, a pitch-black body covered with human faces slowly emerged from the white hole.

The army's counterattack began at this point.

Bullets, rockets, and grenades rained down on the monster inside the white hole.

Explosions and fire filled the entire battlefield, and the pervasive smoke obscured the sky like fog.

One minute later, there was no movement in the white hole.

General Hamilton raised his arm, and the army slowly ceased its attack.

General Hamilton said to those around him, "We've taken it down."

However, this statement seemed more like a way for him to comfort himself.

Amidst the smoke and dust, a strange rustling sound slowly arose.

The sound was like countless pebbles bouncing off the ground, growing louder and closer.

General Hamilton stared at the blurry black shadow in the smoke and dust, and his heart skipped a beat for no apparent reason.

Before he could issue any orders, thousands upon thousands of spider undead crawled out of the smoke and dust and pounced on the army in the street at an extremely fast speed.
