Chapter 724 Light and Shadow (Part 2)

"I am the one who lives in the light and is the one everyone is watching!"

"What abilities do you, as a puppet, possess that allow you to achieve things that even I cannot attain?"

"Why? Why?!"

Seeing Eleanor's expression gradually descend into madness, Rachel said, "You want to know the answer? I know who can tell you."

A faint buzzing sound suddenly emanated from Rachel's undead body.

Eleanor was startled; the faint smile on Rachel's lips immediately gave her a bad feeling.

Just then, from the direction of the mother nest, came a series of sounds of shattering glass.

Eleanor yelled at Rachel, "What have you done?"

Rachel turned her body towards Eleanor so that the latter could see clearly what was on her chest.

It was a protrusion resembling a honeycomb parasite, and looking inside, one could see numerous undead parasites swimming within Rachel's body.

Eleanor vaguely remembered something, but before she could fully react, the things that appeared at the entrance to the Mother Nest terrified her.

Groups of undead-infested alien species emerged from the gates of the mother hive.

Covered in undead parasites, they emitted piercing screams as they lunged straight at Eleanor.

Rachel whispered to Eleanor, "They look familiar, don't they? An army of puppets? Alien warriors?"

Eleanor turned deathly pale with fright and stammered, "Them? How could you..."

Rachel pointed to the honeycomb parasite on her chest and said to Eleanor, "When Theodore gave you this undead body, you really should have taken a minute to read the instruction manual."

Eleanor had no time to listen to Rachel's taunts. In a panic, she raised her arm, and a flame swept towards the undead army in front of her.

The two undead creatures running in the lead were burned to ashes by the fire.

However, a fire-type necromancer charged straight forward, opened its arms, and absorbed all the engulfing flames into its body.

Eleanor quickly raised her hands, and countless boulders slowly rose from the ground, then rained down on the undead creatures.

Undead were constantly being hit by stones, but as long as they weren't hit in vital areas, these attacks couldn't stop their advance.

A fast-moving necromancer darted through the rain of stones like lightning, spotted Eleanor in mid-air, and with a powerful leap, knocked her down from the sky.

Hearing Eleanor's screams, Rachel slowly crawled out of the quicksand pit and shook off the dust.

Watching hundreds of undead creatures gather together, devouring the flesh and blood of the Mother Goddess, Rachel closed her eyes and turned away.

Arriving at the body that had once belonged to her, Rachel slowly knelt down, gently touched the blood-stained face, reached out and closed the open eyelids, then took the dragon badge from the other's chest and hung it around her own neck before getting up and leaving the hall.
